Ella Eyre drafts Banx & Ranx for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Ella Eyre (real name Ella Mary McMahon) has drafted Banx & Ranx for a new collaboration.

Composed of Zacharie Raymond and Yannick Rastogi; the Canadian songwriting/production duo are known for helming singles performed by Olly Murs (“Kiss Me”), KStewart (“Sex for Breakfast”), Lady Leshurr (“OMW”), Stylo G (“Under Construction”), Kevin Lyttle (“Slow Motion”), Alx Veliz (“Duele”) and Paris & Simo f/ Karen Harding (“Come as You Are”).

Banx & Ranx have also worked with songwriters and fellow producers including Supa Dups, Ayak Thiik, Di Genius, Raye, Arnthor Birgisson, Chelcee Grimes, Arnthor Birgisson, Cleo Tighe, Lil Eddie, Angela Hunte, Steve Robson, Lindy Robbins, Billboard, Grace Tither, Adam Baptiste, and Ina Wroldsen.

Meanwhile, Eyre is expected to release her upcoming sophomore album – featuring the Fransisca Hall-assisted / Jesse Shatkin-produced lead single “Ego” – later this year via Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts further alliances with Jonny Coffer, Kamille, Toby Gad, Ilsey Juber, Jason Evigan, Lauren Christy, Two Inch Punch, Emily Warren, Jonas Jeberg, Becky Hill, ADP, Steph Jones, Crada, Grace Barker, Emanuel Kiriakou, Dyo, Paul O’Duffy, Caroline Ailin, Nate Campany, Harloe, Jarrad Rogers, Gina Kushka, Evan “Kidd” Bogart, and HitImpulse.

Bobii Lewis hits the studio with Nina Nesbitt, Mojam Music

British singer/songwriter Bobii Lewis has teamed with fellow recording artist Nina Nesbitt and Mojam Music for a new collaboration.

Nesbitt’s songwriting resume boasts works for Olivia Holt (“Phoenix”), Jasmine Thompson (“Love for the Lonely”), Conor Maynard (“Living”), Jessie Ware (“Slow Me Down”) and The Shires (“Other People’s Things”).

Mojam Music, composed of Mustafa Omer and James Murray, have previously produced Tom Walker’s “Heartland,” Naughty Boy’s “Should’ve Been Me,” Emeli Sande’s “Hurts,” Plan B’s “In the Name of Man,” Frances’ “No Matter,” Conor Maynard’s “Talking About,” and Sinead Harnett’s “Do it Anyway.”

Meanwhile, Lewis’ current promotional single “Drifting” – which was produced by Don Corleone – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

His upcoming debut project reportedly delivers additional alliances with Tre Jean Marie, Karen Poole, Bless Beats, Jin Jin, Michael Angelo, Negin Djafari, Harry James, Stacy Barthe, Cutfather, Grace Tither, Crada, Will Simms, Levi Lennox, Grades, Scribz Riley, The Rascals, Freedo, and Sky Adams.

Troi Irons has shared the music video for her new single online.

The American singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Call Me” to her Vevo channel on Wednesday (September 13, 2017).

Irons wrote “Call Me” alongside German record producer Christian “Crada” Kalla, whose resume boasts additional works with Clare Maguire (“Freedom”), Ella Eyre (“Make You Love Me”), Jordin Sparks (“Left … Right”), Bibi Bourelly (“What If”) and Emeli Sande (“Friend of a Friend”).

Irons’s debut mini-album “Turbulence” – featuring additional productions from XSDTRK, Devrim Karaoglu, Sandy Chila, Ryan Marrone, and Neff-U – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The British singer/songwriter (born Ella Mary McMahon) christened “Ego” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming sophomore album and will release it on August 11 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The Ty Dolla $ign-featuring track was co-written by Fransisca Hall and Jesse Shatkin, who are also behind Cheryl’s “Waiting for Lightning,” Kelly Clarkson’s “In the Blue,” Foxes’ “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now,” Jasmine Thompson’s “Crystal Heart,” Indiana’s “Play Dead,” and Lea Michele’s “Believer.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Eyre’s next studio collection is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

Marlon Roudette signs new deal with Island Records UK

Marlon Roudette has signed a new deal with Island Records UK.

“Excited to announce that I’ve signed a new record deal with @islandrecordsuk Massive thanks to the whole team and boss Darcus Beese for persevering since my Mattafix days!! #ultralove @islandrecords I’m on Bob Marley’s label baby!!,” the British singer/songwriter posted to Instagram.

The Universal Music imprint also houses artists including Ariana Grande, John Newman, Bibi Bourelly, Cosima, Elli Ingram, AlunaGeorge, Disclosure, Grace Mitchell, Hailee Steinfeld, Jack Garratt, DNCE, and Kid Cudi, amongst others.

Roudette’s current promotional single “Ultra Love” – which was co-written alongside Joacim Persson and Sebastian Arman – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

For his next project, Roudette has reportedly worked with Future Cut (Adele), Tre Jean-Marie (Jacob Banks), Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams), Jamie Hartman (Kacy Hill), Crada (Drake), Jimmy Napes (Rita Ora), Digital Farm Animals (Little Mix), Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran), Mark Batson (Emeli Sande), LOSTBOY (Fleur East) and Red Triangle (Nina Nesbitt).

The pair previously teamed up on “Good Times,” taken from Eyre’s 2015 album “Feline,” which peaked to number thirty-seven on the UK Singles Chart.

“Came Here for Love,” on the other hand, was written by Ella Eyre and Bryn Christopher alongside the track’s producers Bruce “Sigala” Fielder, Scott “White N3rd” Wild, and Cedrick “Klingande” Steinmyller.
