Kara Marni shares new promotional single “Opposite”

British singer/songwriter Antonia Maria Karamarni, known professionally as Kara Marni, has shared her new promotional single online.

“Opposite” – which was co-written by fellow recording artist Samantha Harper (aka HARPER) and produced by WAVSDNTDIE – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play and all other digital streaming outlets.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Marni’s upcoming project – featuring previous promotional singles “Move” and “Lose My Love” – is expected to arrive later this year via Access Records.

On the follow-up to 2018’s “Love Just Ain’t Enough,” Marni has also worked with The Invisible Men (Iggy Azalea, Miley Cyrus), Autumn Rowe (Kelis, Leona Lewis), Chiara Hunter (Ella Eyre, David Guetta), Harloe (Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas) and Culture x Tones (Ray BLK, Conor Maynard).

Kara Marni hits the studio with Autumn Rowe for new collaboration

Kara Marni has teamed with Autumn Rowe for a new collaboration.

The American singer/songwriter previously wrote songs for Leona Lewis (“Collide”), Dua Lipa (“Room for Two”), Kali Uchis (“Flight 22”), Little Mix (“Red Planet”), Kelis (“Copy Cat”), Becky Hill (“Love’s Just a Feeling”), Kylie Minogue (“Sexy Love”) and Zendaya (“Only When You’re Close”).

Rowe’s extensive resume boasts additional works with Sinead Harnett (“Sorry”), Alexandra Burke (“Fire”), RuthAnne (“Take What I Can Get”), Alex Newell (“Collect My Love”), Tanika (“Nine”), Bridget Kelly (“In My Own Skin”), Kacy Hill (“Say You’re Wrong”) and Bea Miller (“Paper Doll”).

Marni’s current promotional single “Lose My Love” – which was co-written by Roc Nation signee Jessica “Harloe” Karpov and produced by the Invisible Men (aka Jonathan Shave, George Astasio and Jason Pebworth) – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Her upcoming project – featuring further productions and songwriting contributions from Chiara Hunter and Culture x Tones – is expected to arrive later this year via Access Records.

Kara Marni premieres music video for new single “Lose My Love”

Kara Marni has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “Lose My Love” was posted to the British singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Thursday (April 11, 2019).

The track was co-written by Roc Nation signee Jessica “Harloe” Karpov, whose other credits include Kelly Clarkson’s “I Don’t Think About You,” Britney Spears’ “Love Me Down,” Charli XCX’s “Secret (Shhh),” Deborah Cox’s “Kinda Miss You,” Madison Beer’s “Unbreakable,” and Olivia Holt’s “Thin Air.”

Production duties on “Lose My Love” were handled by The Invisible Men (composed of Jonathan Shave, George Astasio, and Jason Pebworth), who have also worked with Rita Ora (“Hot Right Now”), Iggy Azalea (“Fancy”), Jessie J (“Do It Like a Dude”) and Anne-Marie (“Heavy”).

Marni’s upcoming project – featuring further productions and songwriting contributions from Chiara Hunter and Culture x Tones – is expected to arrive later this year via Access Records.

Ray BLK shares music video for new single “Paradise”

Ray BLK has shared the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “Paradise” was posted to the British singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Thursday (February 14, 2018).

The track was co-written and produced by Cass Lowe, whose recent credits include Rudimental’s “Scared of Love,” Jess Glynne’s “Nevermind,” Lily Allen’s “Pushing Up Daisies,” MØ’s “Nostalgia,” Alex Adair’s “I Will,” DNCE’s “TV in the Morning,” and Paloma Faith’s “Kings and Queens.”

Ray BLK’s current project “Empress” – featuring 8 songs including “Run Run,” “Got My Own,” “Girl Like Me,” “Mama,” “Empress,” “Don’t Beg” and “Just a Kid” – is now available via all digital streaming outlets.

For her next project under Island Records UK, BLK (born Rita Ekwere) has worked with Fred Ball (Hailee Steinfeld, Madison Beer), Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett (Raye, David Guetta), Priscilla Renea (Rihanna, Mariah Carey) and Culture x Tones (Harloe, Kara Marni).
