Fleur East collaborates with Future Cut for debut album

British singer and songwriter Fleur East has collaborated with Tunde Babalola and Darren Lewis of Future Cut for her upcoming debut album.

“Fun morning in the studio with @FutureCut today! And got to meet the lovely @FleurEast,” regular Future Cut collaborator Whinnie Williams tweeted.

Future Cut have recently produced “Together” for Ella Eyre. The track is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Virgin EMI Records.

Their other credits include Stooshe’s “Black Heart” [Warner Bros Records], Laura Izibor’s “Shine” [Atlantic Records], Olly Murs’ “Dance With Me Tonight” [Epic Records] and Foxes’ “Holding On to Heaven” [RCA Records].

Meanwhile, East is expected to release her first studio collection later this year under Simon Cowell’s label Syco Music.

The still-untitled project reportedly features further productions from Cutfather (Kylie Minogue, Demi Lovato), Jack Splash (Solange, Alicia Keys), Fraser T. Smith (Adele, Craig David) and Richard Stannard (Gabrielle, Leona Lewis).

Future Cut, on the other hand, have contributed to the next projects by Little Mix [Columbia Records], Tamera Foster [Syco Music], Conor Maynard [Parlophone Records] and Mutya Keisha Siobhan [Polydor Records].

Olly Murs confirms new single “Beautiful to Me”

Olly Murs has confirmed the details for his new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “Beautiful to Me” as the next promotional cut from his latest album, “Never Been Better.”

“Beautiful to Me” was written by Murs along with Martin Johnson (Christina Perri, Jason Derulo), Sam Hollander (Carly Rae Jepsen, Kelly Rowland) and Steve Robson (Leona Lewis, Christina Aguilera).

Other musicians backing Murs on “Never Been Better” are Cutfather (Kylie Minogue, Fleur East), Maegan Cottone (Britney Spears, Little Mix), Jason Evigan (Zendaya, Kelly Clarkson) and Sean Douglas (Madonna, Jason Derulo).

The follow-up to 2012’s “Right Place Right Time” is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Syco Music and Epic Records. It also contains previous hit singles “Wrapped Up,” “Seasons” and “Up.”

Fleur East recruits Maegan Cottone for debut album

British singer/songwriter Fleur East has recruited the songwriting services of Maegan Cottone for her upcoming debut album.

“@FleurEast my new favourite girl. What a pleasure!,” she posted to her Twitter account on Wednesday (April 29, 2015).

Cottone is known for co-writing “Move” by Little Mix [Syco Music / Columbia Records], “Up” by Olly Murs f/ Demi Lovato [Syco Music / Epic Records] and “Pretty Girls” by Britney Spears f/ Iggy Azalea [RCA Records].

Furthermore, she has collaborated with top musicians including Babyface (Beyonce, Janet Jackson), Rodney Jerkins (Ciara, Leona Lewis), Lucas Secon (Trey Songz, Jordin Sparks) and Rob Knox (Rihanna, Justin Timberlake).

Meanwhile, East is expected to release her first studio collection later this year under Simon Cowell’s label Syco Music and Sony Music Entertainment.

The still-untitled LP boasts productions from Richard “Biff” Stannard (Gabrielle, Ella Henderson), Cutfather (Pixie Lott, Ella Eyre), Fraser T. Smith (Adele, Sam Smith) and Jack Splash (Jasmine Sullivan, Alicia Keys).

On the songwriting front, East has teamed up with Camille Purcell (Rita Ora, Karen Harding), Ina Wroldsen (Labrinth, Janelle Monae), Chelcee Grimes (Aston Merrygold, Tamera Foster) and Wayne Hector (Jason Derulo, Craig David).

Conor Maynard premieres music video for new single “Royalty”

Conor Maynard has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Royalty” to his official YouTube channel on Sunday (April 26, 2015).

“Royalty” was co-written and produced by fellow UK artist Labrinth, who previously teamed with Maynard on hit single “R U Crazy.”

The singer, songwriter and record producer – born Timothy McKenzie – is also responsible for Rihanna’s “Lost in Paradise” [Def Jam Recordings] and Ms. Dynamite’s “Neva Soft” [Relentless Records].

Meanwhile, Maynard is scheduled to release his second studio collection later this year under Warner Music Group / Parlophone Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Contrast,” which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and delivered hit singles including “Can’t Say No” and the Ne-Yo-assisted “Turn Around.”

For the new album, Maynard has also teamed with Timbaland (Brandy, Chris Brown), Cutfather (Fleur East, Kylie Minogue), Future Cut (Ella Eyre, Olly Murs) and Mojam (Emeli Sande, Leona Lewis).

Olly Murs confirms new single “Seasons”

Olly Murs has confirmed the title for his new single.

The British singer/songwriter dubbed “Seasons” as the third promotional cut from his latest album, “Never Been Better,” out now via Syco Music.

“Seasons” was co-written by Ammar Malik, whose other credits include Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger” f/ Christina Aguilera [Interscope Records], Cher Lloyd’s “Oath” [Epic Records] and Lady Antebellum’s “Compass” [Capitol Nashville].

Production duties on “Seasons” were handled by Ryan “Alias” Tedder and Noel Zancanella, who are also responsible for Ella Henderson’s “Ghost” [Syco Music] and Ariana Grande’s “Why Try” [Republic Records].

Murs’ previous single, the Demi Lovato-assisted “Up,” peaked to number four on the UK Singles Chart. The track was helmed by Maegan Cottone, Wayne Hector, Mich “Cutfather” Hansen, Daniel Davidsen and Peter Wallevik.

“Never Been Better” features additional alliances with Jason Evigan, Sean Douglas, Steve Robson, Claude Kelly, Martin Johnson, Sam Hollander, John Newman, Steve Mac, Jamie Scott, Future Cut, and Sam Romans.

Karen Harding releases debut single “Say Something”

Karen Harding has released her new single online.

“Say Something” is now available for download via iTunes (UK) in partnership with Method Records and Capitol Records.

The track was helmed by MNEK, whose other credits include Becky Hill’s “Losing” [Parlophone Records], Billon’s “Special” f/ Maxine Ashley [Virgin EMI Records] and TIEKS’ “Sing That Song” f/ Celeste [Atlantic Records].

He also confirmed further songwriting and production placements with Rudimental [Asylum Records], Jojo [Atlantic Records], Tamera Foster [Syco Music], Little Mix [Columbia Records] and Moko [Virgin EMI Records].

Meanwhile, Harding’s first studio collection is expected to be released later this year. The still-untitled LP reportedly boasts productions from Richard Stannard, Ash Howes, Mich “Cutfather” Hansen, Jonny Lattimer and Fred Ball.

On the songwriting front, Harding has teamed with Karen Poole, Autumn Rowe, Chelcee Grimes, Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, Tom Aspaul and Bradford Ellis.
