Tamar Braxton reunites with Da Internz for new single “If I Don’t Have You”

Tamar Braxton has chosen her new single.

The singer and songwriter christened “If I Don’t Have You” as the second promotional cut from her upcoming fourth album.

Production duties on “If I Don’t Have You” were handled by Marcos “Kosine” Palacios and Ernest “Tuo” Clark of Da Internz, who previously teamed with Tamar on the Priscilla Renea and Ericka Coulter-assisted “Tip Toe.”

The R&B and Hip-Hop production duo are also responsible for Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” [Republic Records], Jazmine Sullivan’s “Stanley” [RCA Records] and Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake” [Def Jam Recordings].

Meanwhile, Tamar’s next studio collection is expected to be released later this year under Streamline Records and Epic Records.

Lead single “Let Me Know” – which features rapper Future – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Meanwhile, fans of Da Internz production work should peep the next projects by Christina Aguilera [RCA], Mila J [Motown], Sevyn Streeter [Atlantic], Tamia [Def Jam], Elle Varner [MBK] and Bridget Kelly [TBA].

Mila J hits the studio with Deputy for upcoming album

Singer and songwriter Mila J has added Deputy to the list of contributors for her upcoming album.

“I love what I do. Deputy x @MilaJ #StudioSessions #RazzleLife,” the record producer posted to his Instagram account on Wednesday (May 20, 2015).

Deputy is known for helming “Bitch Better Have My Money” for Rihanna along with Travis Scott, WondaGurl and Kanye West.  The track is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Roc Nation Records.

His resume includes further works for Zendaya [Hollywood Records], Ne-Yo [Motown Records], J. Cole [Columbia Records], Rick Ross [Maybach Music Group], Wale [Atlantic Records] and The-Dream [Capitol Records].

Meanwhile, Mila J is scheduled to release her next studio collection later this year under Universal Music Group / Motown Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2014’s EP “M.I. LA,” which spawned hit singles “Smoke, Drink, Break-Up” and “My Main.”

In addition to Deputy, Mila J has also collaborated with Da Internz (Ciara, Nicki Minaj), Sam Hook (Trey Songz, Miley Cyrus), Christopher “Tricky” Stewart (Beyonce, Kelly Rowland) and DJ Mustard (Omarion, Rita Ora).

Tamia confirms tracklisting for new album “Love Life”

Tamia has confirmed the official tracklisting for her upcoming sixth album.

The Canadian singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “Love Life” on June 9 under Universal Music Group / Def Jam Records.

Current single “Stuck with Me” was produced by Polow Da Don, whose other credits include Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” [Republic], Fergie’s “London Bridge” [Interscope] and Jamie Foxx’s “DJ Play a Love Song” [RCA].

“Love Life” serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Beautiful Surprise,” which peaked to number six on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart.

As mentioned in earlier posts, “Love Life” will feature further productions from Da Internz (Tinashe, John Legend), Bryan Michael Cox (Ciara, Toni Braxton), Chuck Harmony (Ne-Yo, Janet Jackson) and Tricky Stewart (Usher, Britney Spears).

On the songwriting front, Tamia has collaborated with Alicia Renee (Rihanna, Ariana Grande), Johnta Austin (Aaliyah, Keri Hilson), Claude Kelly (Brandy, Leona Lewis) and The-Dream (Chris Brown, Jennifer Lopez).

Tamia has shared her new single online.

The Canadian singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Stuck With Me” to her Vevo channel on Wednesday (May 06, 2015).

Production duties on “Stuck With Me” were handled by Polow Da Don, who is also responsible for Fergie’s “London Bridge” [Interscope], Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” [Republic] and Ciara’s “Promise” [RCA].

The track marks the second promotional cut from Tamia’s sixth album, “Love Life,” out on June 9 under Universal Music Group / Def Jam Recordings.

Previous single “Sandwich and a Soda” – which was co-written by Alicia Renee Williams along with Warren “Oak” Felder, Andrew “Pop” Wansel and Steve “Aceface” Mostyn – is now available for download via iTunes.

Sevyn Streeter has unveiled the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter – real name Amber Streeter – posted the visual clip for “4th Street” to her official YouTube channel on Tuesday (April 29, 2015).

“4th Street” appears on the artist’s debut album, “On the Verge,” out soon under Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The keenly-awaited project will feature previous promotional cut “Don’t Kill the Fun,” as well as guest appearances from Chris Brown [RCA Records], August Alsina [Def Jam Recordings] and B.o.B [Atlantic Records].

On the production front, “Verge” boasts contributions from Hit-Boy (Brandy, Selena Gomez), Polow Da Don (Rihanna, Kelly Rowland), Mansur Zafr (Ashanti, Keri Hilson) and Da Internz (Tamia, Christina Aguilera).

Tamia has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The R&B singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Sandwich and a Soda” to her Vevo channel on Friday (April 17, 2015).

“Sandwich and a Soda” – which was produced by Warren “Oak” Felder, Andrew “Pop” Wansel and Steve “Aceface” Mostyn – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Tamia co-wrote the song along with Alicia Renee Williams, whose other credits include Ariana Grande’s “Hands on Me” f/ A$AP Rocky [Republic Records] and Rihanna’s “As Real As You And Me” [Roc Nation Records].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Tamia’s upcoming studio album “Love Life” will be released on June 9th under Universal Music Group / Def Jam Recordings.

The new project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Beautiful Surprise,” which peaked to number six on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart.

Mila J has collaborated with Da Internz for her upcoming studio album.

The production duo recently helmed “Stanley” for Jazmine Sullivan. The track appears on the R&B singer/songwriter’s third studio collection, “Reality Show,” now available for download via iTunes in partnership with RCA Records.

Consisting of members Marcos Palacios and Ernest Clark, Da Internz have also contributed to the next projects by Usher [RCA], Rihanna [Roc Nation], Tamia [Def Jam], Sevyn Streeter [Atlantic] and Christina Aguilera [RCA].

Meanwhile, Mila J is scheduled to release her new album later this year via Universal Music Group imprint Motown Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2014’s EP “M.I. LA,” which spawned hit singles “Smoke, Drink, Break-Up” and “My Main.”
