Sugababes record new music with Dan Caplen, Aston Rudi

British female group Sugababes (composed of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhan Donaghey) have recorded new music with Dan Caplen and Aston Rudi.

Besides working on his upcoming debut album under Atlantic Records UK, Caplen recently co-wrote “All That I Am” for former Girl Aloud member Nadine Coyle and provided guest vocals on Lily Moore’s 2019 single “Undo.”

Meanwhile, Rudi’s production resume boasts works with Tamera (“Don’t Phone”), Awa (“Like I Do”), Mahalia (“Do Not Disturb”), Hamzaa (“Saving Grace”), Jaz Karis (“Petty Lover”), Sophie Faith (“Bad Blood”), Elli Ingram (“Table for Two”), Ray BLK (“5050”) and Jordan Stephens (“Thunder”).

Sugababes are expected to release their upcoming project – featuring additional contributions from MNEK, KABBA, and Karen Poole – later this year to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut studio album, “One Touch,” which spawned singles “Overload,” “Run for Cover,” “New Year” and “Soul Sound.”

Dan Caplen teams with Sinead Harnett for new single “Closer to You”

Dan Caplen has teamed with Sinead Harnett for his new single.

“Closer to You” – which was written by Caplen and Harnett alongside Justin “Hoost” Tailor – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Caplen’s upcoming debut album – featuring productions and songwriting contributions from Lostboy, Caroline Ailin, Fred Cox, Jin Jin, Carassius Gold, Negin Djafari, Jonny Coffer, Dyo, Jamie Scott, Kamille, and Wayne Hector – is expected to arrive next year via Atlantic Records UK.

Mabel McVey hits the studio with Cass Lowe

Mabel McVey has teamed up with Cass Lowe for a new collaboration.

The British record producer and songwriter’s recent credits include DNCE’s “TV in the Morning,” Lily Allen’s “Pushing Up Daisies,” MØ’s “Nostalgia,” Paloma Faith’s “Kings and Queens,” and Rudimental’s “Sun Comes Up.”

Fans of his works should also keep an eye on the next releases by Astrid S, Zara Larsson, Nick Jonas, Ray BLK, Stanaj, Alex Aiono, Dagny, Ella Henderson, Goody Grace, Jess Glynne, Stormzy, and Clean Bandit.

Meanwhile, Mabel is expected to release her next project – featuring current single “Fine Line” – later this year via Polydor Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly yields additional contributions from Electric, Fraser T. Smith, MNEK, Bless Beats, Corey Sanders, Jonny Coffer, Tre Jean-Marie, Lostboy, Jordan Riley, Dan Caplen, and TMS.

Rudimental confirm details for third album

Rudimental have confirmed the details for their upcoming album.

The British drum and bass band – composed of Kesi Dryden, Amir Amor, DJ Locksmith and Piers Agget – have christened their third studio collection “Toast to Our Differences” and will release it on September 7th via Major Tom’s Music in partnership with Asylum Records (UK) and Atlantic Records (US).

Current promotional single “Let Me Live” – featuring Major Lazer, Anne-Marie, and Mr. Eazi – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2015’s “We the Generation” boasts further guest appearances from Jess Glynne, Dan Caplen, Raye, Maverick Sabre, Yebba, Kevin Garrett, Shungudzo, James Arthur, Raphaella, Maleek Berry, Ladysmith, and Chronixx.

Mabel McVey has teamed up with Jax Jones for his new single “Ring Ring,” which is scheduled to arrive on June 22nd via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Kamille (David Guetta, Bebe Rexha), Marlon Roudette (Liam Payne, Sinead Harnett), MNEK (Beyonce, Christina Aguilera) and Mark Ralph (Clean Bandit, Years & Years).

As mentioned in earlier posts, McVey’s upcoming debut album – featuring current promotional single “Fine Line” – is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts contributions from The Electric, Pawws, Jordan Riley, Lostboy, Dan Caplen, Bless Beats, Olivia Deano, Corey Sanders, Oscar Scheller, Fraser T. Smith, and Jonny Coffer.

The Ms Banks-assisted “Thank You” – which was co-written by Frances, James Newman, and Frederik Eichen – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Caplen’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous singles “Flat Champagne” and “Two Fingers” – is expected to arrive later this year via Atlantic Records UK.

British singer/songwriter Dan Caplen has recorded new music with Frank Nobel and Linus Nordstrom of Goldfingers.

Having signed a publishing deal with Imagem UK, the Swedish songwriting and production duo are responsible for Kamille’s “Body,” Louisa Johnson’s “Yes,” Don Diablo’s “Give Me Love,” and Liza Owen’s “Better with Me.”

Goldfingers have also contributed to the next projects by Little Mix, Antigoni Buxton, John Newman, Grace Davies, Kloe, L Devine, and Rak-Su.

Meanwhile, Caplen is expected to release his upcoming debut album – featuring singles “Flat Champagne” (with Ray BLK) and “Two Fingers” (produced by Two Inch Punch) – later this year via Atlantic Records UK.
