Shingai premieres music video for new single “Coming Home”

Zimbabwean-British singer/songwriter Shingai, best known as the vocalist and bassist for the UK indie rock band Noisettes, has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The Joseph Adesunloye-directed clip for “Coming Home” was posted to the artist’s YouTube channel on Saturday (March 16, 2019).

The track – which was co-written by Makeba Riddick, Jean Baptiste Kouame, and Dan Smith (of The Noisettes) with collective production duties handled by Shingai and Gadi Sassoon – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in various media outlets, Shingai’s upcoming debut mini-album “Ancient Futures” is scheduled to arrive later this year via Zimtron / K7 Records.

Craig David liberates new promotional single “I Know You”

Craig David has liberated his new promotional single online.

“I Know You” – which was co-written by Dan Smith of Bastille alongside Carmen Reece and Fraser T. Smith – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, David’s upcoming seventh studio collection “The Time is Now” – featuring previous promotional singles “Heartline” and “For the Gram” – will arrive on January 26th via Speakerbox / Insanity Records in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment UK.

The highly-anticipated project delivers additional alliances with Chase & Status, Jonas Blue, Kaytranada, Sam Romans, JP Cooper, Diztortion, Rachel Furner, Ella Mai, GoldLink, AJ Tracey, Steve Mac, Tre Jean-Marie, and Blonde.

British singer/songwriter Craig David has teamed with Carmen Reece and Dan Smith of Bastille for a new collaboration.

In addition to his role as the lead singer, primary songwriter, and founder of the British rock band Bastille; Smith has also written and produced songs for other artists including Foxes (“Better Love”), Rag’n’Bone Man (“Lay My Body Down”), Ella Eyre (“Drop It”), Madeon (“La Lune”), Celeste Waite (“Day Dreaming”) and Naughty Boy (“No One’s Here to Sleep”).

Meanwhile, Reece’s songwriting resume boasts works with La’Porsha Renae (“Hideout”), Stanaj (“Bad Woman”), K. Michelle (“Make the Bed”), Nathan Sykes (“Over and Over Again”), Sabina Ddumba (“Not Too Young”), Teyana Taylor (“Put Your Love On”) and Ariana Grande (“Right There”).

David, on the other hand, is expected to release his upcoming seventh studio collection later this year via Sony Music Entertainment UK in partnership with Speakerbox / Insanity Records.

The still-untitled project follows 2016’s “Following My Intuition,” which topped the UK Albums Chart and spawned contributions from TMS (“Change My Love”), Dave Tozer (“All We Needed”), Kaytranada (“Sink or Swim”), Ed Drewett (“Couldn’t Be Mine”) and Tre Jean-Marie (“One More Time”).

Foxes releases “Better Love” music video

Foxes has released the music video for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter – real name Louisa Allen – posted the visual clip for “Better Love” to her Vevo channel on Thursday (September 17, 2015).

“Better Love” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by Foxes along with regular collaborator Jonny Harris and Bastille’s Dan Smith.

Video treatment was handled by Kinga Burza, whose other credits include Marina and the Diamonds (“Hollywood”), Ellie Goulding (“Goodness Gracious”), La Roux (“In for the Kill”) and Gabrielle Aplin (“Home”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Foxes’ second album “All I Need” – featuring previous singles “Body Talk” and “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now” – will hit stores on February 5, 2016 through Signs of the Times (UK) and RCA (US).

The follow-up to 2014’s “Glorious” delivers alliances with Rick Nowels (Lana Del Rey), Jim Eliot (Emeli Sande), Kid Harpoon (Shakira), Jonny Lattimer (Ella Eyre), Jesse Shatkin (Kelly Clarkson) and Babyface (Colbie Caillat).

Foxes has unwrapped the official artwork for her new single online.

“Better Love” is lifted from the British singer/songwriter’s upcoming sophomore studio collection, “All I Need,” out on February 5 2016 via Sign of the Times Records (UK) and RCA Records (US).

The track – now available for download via iTunes – was written by Foxes along with regular collaborator Jonny Harris and Bastille’s Dan Smith.

Previous single “Body Talk” – which was co-written and produced by Jim Eliot – peaked to number twenty five on the UK Singles Chart.

Other musicians backing Foxes on the follow-up to 2014’s “Glorious” are Babyface (Beyonce, Mariah Carey), Rick Nowels (Sia, Lana Del Rey), Jesse Shatkin (Cheryl, Kelly Clarkson) and Kid Harpoon (Shakira, Jessie Ware).

Foxes has chosen her new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “Better Love” as the second promotional cut from her upcoming sophomore album “All I Need.”

“Better Love” was written by Foxes – real name Louisa Rose Allen – along with regular collaborator John Harris and Bastille’s Dan Smith.

Former single “Body Talk” – now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets – peaked to number twenty five on the UK Singles Chart.

As mentioned in earlier posts, “All I Need” is scheduled to hit stores later this year through Sign of the Times Records (UK) and RCA Records (US).
