Hamzaa delivers new “Phases” EP

British singer/songwriter Cassandra-Malika Hamza, known mononymously as Hamzaa, has delivered her new EP online.

“Phases” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The highly-anticipated collection features five songs in the shape of “Sunday Morning,” “Home,” “Hard to Love,” “Unlucky” and “Someday.”

Among the musicians backing Hamzaa on “Phases” are Grades (Kelis, Zara Larsson), Dayyon Alexander (Tamera, Dua Lipa), Rykeyz (Fantasia, Pia Mia), Levi Lennox (Anne-Marie, Zayn Malik) and Laconic (Joy Crookes, Olivia Holt).

Ella Eyre returns with new single “Mama” featuring Kiana Lede, Banx & Ranx

Ella Eyre has shared her new single online.

“Mama” – featuring Banx & Ranx and Kiana Lede – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Eyre and Lede alongside Dyo (Lauren Jauregui, Zara Larsson), Shakka (Kamille, Sean Paul), Zacharie Raymond (Jason Derulo, Craig David) and Yannick Rastogi (Dua Lipa, Stefflon Don).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Eyre’s upcoming sophomore album, which serves as the follow-up to 2015’s “Feline,” is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Island Records UK.

The still-untitled project reportedly features additional songwriting contributions from Linnea Sodahl, Grace Barker, Caroline Ailin, Natt Dunn, Jin Jin, Chiara Hunter, Sarah Aarons, and Caitlyn Scarlett.

On the production front, Eyre has teamed up with Lostboy, Jay Weathers, Tre Jean-Marie, Laconic, Andrew Wells, DannyBoyStyles, Hitimpulse, Di Genius, Moon Willis, Jordan Riley, Elof Loelv, Mojam, and Invisible Men.

Joy Crookes teams with Shea Taylor for new collaboration

Joy Crookes has teamed up with Shea Taylor for a new collaboration.

The American record producer and songwriter is known for her helming Beyonce’s “Love On Top,” Mariah Carey’s “A No No,” Frank Ocean’s “Thinkin’ Bout You,” Ne-Yo’s “Lazy Love,” K. Michelle’s “Love ‘Em All,” Nicole Scherzinger’s “Happily Never After,” and Bridget Kelly’s “Street Dreaming.”

Taylor’s extensive resume boasts additional works with Rihanna (“James Joint”), Lianne La Havas (“Midnight”), Daley (“Blame the World”), Rita Ora (“Uneasy”), Janet Jackson (“Discipline”), Solange (“Told You So”), Brooke Candy (“Pop Rock”) and Paula DeAnda (“When It Was Me”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Crookes is expected to release her upcoming project later this year via Speakerbox Recordings / Insanity Records.

The highly-anticipated project – featuring five songs in the shape of “Sunday Morning,” “Home,” “Hard to Love,” “Unlucky” and “Someday” – delivers productions and songwriting contributions from Grades, Dayyon Alexander, Rykeyz, Levi Lennox, Britten Newbill, Dan Parry, and Laconic.

Hamzaa’s current promotional single “London” – which was co-written and produced by Ollie Green – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

British singer/songwriter Cassandra-Malika Hamza, known mononymously as Hamzaa, has teamed up with Trey Campbell and Stint for a new collaboration.

Campbell’s songwriting resume boasts works with Banks (“Look What You’re Doing To Me”), Ella Mai (“Found”), Adam Lambert (“Two Fux”), Bebe Rexha (“Atmosphere”), Maad (“Black Ice”), Guy Sebastian (“Stay In Bed”), Inna (“Heaven”) and Black Saint (“Don’t Wreck My Holiday”).

Meanwhile, Stint (born Ajay Bhattacharyya) is responsible for producing Sinead Harnett’s “Pulling Away,” Alina Baraz’s “Tainted,” Sabrina Claudio’s “Unravel Me,” Demi Lovato’s “Tell Me You Love Me,” Jessie Ware’s “Alone,” Nao’s “Don’t Change,” Tei Shi’s “A Kiss Goodbye,” and Janelle Monae’s “Unbreakable.”

Hamzaa’s upcoming project – featuring further productions and songwriting contributions from TMS, Emile Haynie, Dayyon Alexander, Laconic, Aston Rudi, Fred Cox, MNEK, Iain James, and Tre Jean-Marie – is expected to arrive later this year via Parlophone Records.

Ella Eyre has confirmed the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter (born Ella Mary McMahon) christened “Mama” as her next promotional cut and will release it on August 9th via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The Kiana Lede and Bank & Ranx-featuring track was co-written by Eyre alongside fellow recording artists Dayo “Dyo” Olatunji (Lauren Jauregui, Zara Larsson) and Shakka Philip (Kamille, Sean Paul).

Eyre’s upcoming sophomore album and follow-up to 2015’s “Feline” is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

British production duo Future Cut – composed of members Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola – have teased a new collaboration with Joy Crookes.

“Thank you so much @joycrookes mum for cooking the best #biriyani EVER straight from the heart,” Future Cut posted to their Instagram profile.

Notable credits by Future Cut include Lily Allen’s “Smile,” Stooshe’s “Black Heart,” Olly Murs’s “Please Don’t Let Me Go,” Little Mix’s “How Ya Doin,” Shakira’s “Gypsy,” Laura Izibor’s “Shine,” Ella Eyre’s “Together,” Ava Leigh’s “Mad About the Boy,” and Mae Muller’s “Leave it Out.”

Meanwhile, Crookes is expected to release her next project – featuring additional alliances with Laconic, Hannah Yadi, Kasper Larsen, and Negin Djafari – is expected to arrive later this year via Speakerbox Recordings in partnership with Insanity Records/Sony Music Entertainment UK.
