Dua Lipa reunites with Emily Warren for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Dua Lipa has reunited with fellow recording artist Emily Warren for a new collaboration.

The pair previously co-wrote Sean Paul’s “Don’t Lie” and The Chainsmokers’ “Wake Up Alone,” as well as the Ian Kirkpatrick-produced/Caroline Ailin-assisted “New Rules,” taken from Dua Lipa’s self-titled debut album.

Warren’s songwriting resume boasts further works with Alessia Cara (“The Other Side”), Noah Cyrus (“Stay Together”), Little Mix (“No More Sad Songs”), Molly Kate Kestner (“Good Die Young”), Ava Lily (“Painkiller”), Becky Hill (“Back to My Love”), Melanie Martinez (“Soap”) and Shawn Mendes (“Aftertaste”).

Her current promotional single “Something To Hold On To” – co-written with and produced by Mac and Phil – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Dua Lipa’s upcoming project, on the other hand, is expected to arrive next year via Warner Music Group / Warner Brothers Records.

On the still-untitled collection, the “Hotter Than Hell” star has also teamed up with Lindy Robbins (Paloma Faith, Ella Henderson), Sarah Hudson (Liza Owen, Era Istrefi) and GRADES (Alina Baraz, Gabi Wilson).

Justine Skye teams up with Jeremih for new single “Back for Me”

American singer/songwriter Justine Skye has teamed up with Jeremih for her new promotional single “Back for More,” now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Produced by Christian “Hitmaka” Ward and Floyd Bentley, “Back for More” – which samples Nelly’s “Flap Your Wings” – was co-written by Jason Derulo alongside Lyrica Anderson (Beyonce), Austin Owens (Bryson Tiller), Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee (Sevyn Streeter) and Arin Ray (Chris Brown).

Skye’s upcoming debut album – featuring the Chris Loco & Moon Willis-produced “U Don’t Know” and The-Dream-assisted “Flames” – is expected to arrive later this year via Roc Nation Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers additional alliances with The Family (Jojo), Paul “Phamous” Shelton (Madi Diaz), Fred Ball (Alicia Keys), Mick Schultz (Zendaya), Deputy (Mack Wilds), James Fauntleroy (Beyonce), Warren “Oak” Felder (Demi Lovato) and GRADES (Natalie La Rose).

KStewart unleashes new promotional single “Sex 4 Breakfast”

British singer/songwriter Kate Stewart, professionally known as KStewart, has unleashed her new promotional single online.

“Sex for Breakfast” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Produced by Zacharie Raymond and Yannick Rastogi of Canadian Electronic Caribbean Music production duo Banx & Ranx, the track was co-written by KStewart and her brother David Stewart alongside Adam Baptiste (Katy Perry), Grace Tither (Fleur East) and Ayak Thiik (Imani Williams).

KStewart’s upcoming project – featuring previous singles “Hands,” “Be Without You,” “Ain’t Nobody” and “Keeping You Up” – is expected to arrive later this year via Cherry Jam Records in partnership with Warner Brothers Records UK.

For the still-untitled collection, KStewart has worked with producers Future Cut, Axident, Tre Jean-Marie, Luke Fitton, Joel Compass, GRADES, Mike “Scribz” Riley, Laconic, Jordan Riley, Cass Lowe, ADP, Richard X, Cutfather, Kasper Larsen, Jon Levine, Dallas K, LOSTBOY, and Electric.

Among the songwriters expected to appear on the project are Tom Aspaul, Ruth-Anne Cunningham, Levi Lennox, Sasha Sloan, JHart, Caroline Ailin, Tom Havelock, Anita Blay, Clarence Coffee Jr., Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Joe Janiak, Carmen Reece, Trey Campbell, Negin Djafari, and Amanda Ghost.

Natalie La Rose teases new collaboration with Mike Dean

Natalie La Rose has teased a new collaboration with Mike Dean.

“When I laid my eyes on @therealmikedean precious Grand, I just couldn’t keep my hands off of it,” the Dutch singer/songwriter posted on Instagram.

Dean is known for his production works with Kanye West (“Ultralight Beam”), Beyonce (“Love Drought”), The Weeknd (“Tell Your Friends”), Madonna (“Inside Out”), Justin Bieber (“No Sense”) and Rihanna (“FourFiveSeconds”).

In addition to launching a record label by the name of M.W.A. (an acronym for Dean’s DJ name Mexican Wrestling Association), the American record producer has also contributed to Sky Ferreira’s sophomore album “Masochism.”

Meanwhile, La Rose is expected to release her debut album later this year via Dreams World/Sony RAL.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further productions from Jarrad Rogers (Rita Ora), Shama Joseph (Rihanna), GRADES (Jess Glynne), Tommy Brown (Ariana Grande), Detail (Jhene Aiko), The Stereotypes (Bruno Mars), DJ Marley Watters (Justine Skye), and T-Minus (Kelly Rowland).

On the songwriting front, La Rose has worked with Caroline Ailin (Dua Lipa), Scott Harris (Phoebe Ryan), Courtney Harrell (Fantasia Barrino), Talay Riley (Keri Hilson), Whitney Phillips (Sabrina Ddumba), Breyan Isaac (Charlie Puth), Rosina Russell (David Guetta) and Jacob Luttrell (Tori Kelly).

Mabel records new material with Dan Caplen, Jordan Riley

British singer/songwriter Mabel has recorded new music with Dan Caplen and Jordan Riley. It is yet to be known, however, whether the session was intended for a future Caplen release or McVey’s upcoming debut album.

Caplen’s current promotional single “Flat Champagne,” which features guest vocals from Ray BLK, is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

In addition to “Flat Champagne,” Riley co-wrote and produced several songs that are slotted for inclusion on Caplen’s next project under Atlantic Records UK including “Got a lot to Learn,” “Hoops,” “Hymn for Life,” “Prove,” “Take Them Blows” and “We Ain’t Hiding Nothing.”

Mabel’s debut album, on the other hand, is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Marlon Roudette (Liam Payne), RAYE (Charli XCX), Joel Compass (FKA twigs), MNEK (Dua Lipa), Negin Djafari (Anne-Marie), Tre Jean-Marie (Craig David), GRADES (Jess Glynne), Levi Lennox (Sam Smith), Jean Baptiste Kouame (Madonna) and Arnthor Birgisson (Leona Lewis).

Jess Glynne hits the studio with RAYE, Jax Jones

British singer/songwriter Jess Glynne has tapped the songwriting and production services of RAYE and Jax Jones. However, it is yet to be known whether the session was intended for a future Jones’ release or Glynne’s upcoming sophomore album under Atlantic Records.

RAYE has (born Rachel Keen) has previously teamed up with Jax Jones on his single “You Don’t Know Me,” which was released in December 2016 via Polydor Records. Co-written by Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett and Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike, the track peaked to number three on the UK Singles Chart.

As a songwriter, RAYE has contributed to the next projects by Rihanna [Roc Nation], Little Mix [Syco Music], Rita Ora [Atlantic], Mabel McVey [Polydor], Era Istrefi [Ultra Music], Rudimental [Atlantic], Anne-Marie [Major Tom’s Music], Naughty Boy [Virgin EMI] and Ellie Goulding [Polydor].

Her previous songwriting credits include Blonde’s “Just for One Night,” 5 After Midnight’s “Up in Here,” Tara Carosielli’s “Money,” Jax Jones’ “You Don’t Know Me,” Charli XCX’s “After the Afterparty,” Matoma’s “The Wave,” Snakehips’ “Don’t Leave,” and M.O.’s “Not in Love.”

Glynne’s second studio collection, on the other hand, reportedly delivers further contributions from Toby Gad (Leona Lewis), Kid Harpoon (Denai Moore), Sam Romans (Craig David), Jamie Scott (Anne-Marie), GRADES (Sinead Harnett), Kamille (Olly Murs) and Ed Sheeran (Justin Bieber).

For the follow-up to 2015’s “I Cry When I Laugh,” Glynne has also reunited with Jonny Coffer (Ella Eyre), Starsmith (Ellie Goulding), Talay Riley (Nick Jones) and Steve Mac (Jasmine Thompson).

Bonzai drafts Mura Masa, Danny L Harle for new single “I Feel Alright”

British singer-songwriter Bonzai has unleashed her new single online.

“I Feel Alright” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Bonzai (born Cassia O’Reilly) co-wrote “I Feel Alright” alongside fellow recording artists Mura Masa (ASAP Rocky, Charli XCX) and Danny L Harle (Carly Rae Jepsen, Caroline Polacheck).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Bonzai is expected to release her upcoming project, which follows 2015’s “Royah” and 2016’s “Sleepy Hungry” and “Lunacy,” later this year via Sony Music Entertainment UK.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further contributions from GRADES (Ella Henderson), Justin Raisen (Kylie Minogue), Fred Ball (Alicia Keys), Nugget (Sky Ferreira) and Andrew Wyatt (Liam Gallagher).
