Sabrina Carpenter delivers new single “Thumbs”

Sabrina Carpenter has delivered her new single online.

“Thumbs” is now available for download via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Priscilla Renea, whose other credits include Fifth Harmony’s “Write on Me” [Syco], Rihanna’s “California King Bed” [Def Jam], Mariah Carey’s “Infinity” [Epic] and Nick Jonas’s “Bacon” [Island].

Production duties on “Thumbs” were handled by Steve Mac, who is also responsible for Jasmine Thompson’s “Adore” [Atlantic], Anne-Marie’s “Alarm” [Asylum] and Little Mix’s “Love Me Like You” [Columbia].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Carpenter will release her sophomore album “EVOLution” – featuring previous singles “On Purpose,” “Run and Hide” and “All We Have is Love” – will arrive on October 14 via Hollywood Records.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Eyes Wide Open” boasts further contributions from Ido Zmishlany, Steph Jones, Jimmy Robbins, Nick Bailey, Jeff “Halatrax” Halavacs, Ryan Orgen, Afshin Salmani, and Daniel “Daylight” Kyriakides.

Shawn Mendes unwraps tracklist for new album “Illuminate”

Shawn Mendes has unwrapped the tracklist for his upcoming sophomore album.

The Canadian singer-songwriter will release “Illuminate” – featuring lead single “Treat You Better” – on September 23 via Island Records.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Handwritten” was prominently produced by Jake Gosling, who also contributed to the next projects by Ella Henderson [Syco Music], Shania Twain [Capitol Nashville], and Rita Ora [Atlantic].

Other musicians backing Mendes on “Illuminate” are Scott Harris, Ido Zmishlany, Geoffrey Warburton, Danny Parker, Ilsey Juber, Teddy Geiger, Laleh Pourkarim, Gustaf Thorn, Daniel “Daylight” Kyriakides, and Chris Leonard.

Sabrina Carpenter has shared the details for her sophomore album.

The actress-singer-songwriter christened her second studio collection “Evolution” and will release it on October 14 via Hollywood Records.

Current single “On Purpose” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written and produced by Ido Zmishlany, who also teamed up with Carpenter on “Smoke and Fire.”

The keenly-awaited project reportedly delivers additional productions from Billy Steinberg (Madonna), Josh Alexander (Leona Lewis), Emanuel Kiriakou (Britney Spears), Mitch Allan (Demi Lovato) and Rune Westberg (Colbie Caillat).

On the songwriting front, Carpenter has teamed with Steph Jones (Chris Lane), Daniel Kyriakides (Olly Murs), Maegan Cottone (Little Mix), Lindy Robbins (Jason Derulo), Evan Bogart (Rihanna), and Chelsea Lena (Pia Mia).

Carpenter’s first studio collection, 2015’s “Eyes Wide Open,” debuted at number forty-three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned the Meghan Trainor-penned “Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying.”

Olly Murs has confirmed the details for his upcoming fifth album.

The British singer-songwriter christened his next studio collection “24 HRS” and will release it on November 11 via Syco Music and Epic Records.

Lead single “You Don’t Know Love” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Camille Purcell (Little Mix, Fleur East), Wayne Hector (Craig David, Jess Glynne) and Steve Robson (James Blunt, Ella Henderson).

The follow-up to 2014’s “Never Been Better” reportedly delivers productions from TMS, MNEK, Cutfather, Daniel Davidsen, Eg White, Red Triangle, Johnny McDaid, Steve Mac, Fraser T. Smith, Steve Boooker, and Banx & Ranx.

On the songwriting front, Murs has teamed up with Ed Drewett, Daylight, Jin Jin, Claude Kelly, Bonnie McKee, Wrabel, Ina Wroldsen, Jamie Scott, Clarence Coffee, Diane Warren, Samuel Preston, Chelcee Grimes, and JHart.

The British singer-songwriter posted the Charles Mehling-directed clip for “You Don’t Know Love” to his Vevo channel on Thursday (July 14, 2016).

Olly Murs has reunited with TMS for his upcoming fifth album.

The songwriting and production trio – composed of Thomas Barnes, Benjamin Kohn and Peter Kelleher – previously teamed up with Murs on songs including “Personal,” “Hand on Heart,” “Nothing Without You” and “Why Do I Love You.”

Moreover, TMS have contributed to the next projects by Craig David [Insanity Records], Ella Henderson [Syco Music], Emeli Sande [Capitol Records] and Becky Hill [Parlophone Records].

Murs, on the other hand, is expected to release the follow-up to 2014’s “Never Been Better” later this year through Syco Music and Epic Records.

Other album contributors include Cutfather (Fleur East), Steve Robson (James Blunt), Samuel Preston (Enrique Iglesias), Daylight (Shawn Mendes), MNEK (Rudimental) and Daniel Davidsen (Kylie Minogue).

Olly Murs has worked with Bonnie McKee and Daylight for his fifth album.

Recent songwriting credits by McKee include Charlie Puth’s “Up All Night” [Warner Brothers], Kelly Clarkson’s “Bad Reputation” [RCA] and 5 Seconds of Summer’s “San Francsisco” [Capitol].

Meanwhile, Daylight – real name Daniel Kyriakides – is responsible for co-writing and producing Shawn Mendes’s “Stitches” [Island], Fifth Harmony’s “Bo$$” [Epic] and Maroon 5’s “Beautiful Goodbye” [A&M/Octone].

Murs, on the other hand, is scheduled to release the follow-up to 2014’s “Never Been Better” later this year through Syco Music and Epic Records.

Shawn Mendes has shared a new performance video online.

The singer/songwriter posted an acoustic rendition of “Stitches” – featuring Hailee Steinfeld – to his Vevo channel on Tuesday (July 28, 2015).

Songwriting and production duties on “Stitches” were handled by Teddy Geiger along with Daniel Parker (Nick Jonas, James Blunt) and Daniel “Daylight” Kyriakides (LunchMoney Lewis, Fifth Harmony).

Mendes’ debut album “Handwritten” – featuring previous promotional cuts “Life of the Party” and “Something Big” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Island Records.

Other musicians backing Mendes on “Handwritten” are Martin Terefe (James Morrison, Mary J. Blige), Sam Watters (Sevyn Streeter, Keri Hilson) and Louis Biancaniello (Jordin Sparks, Mariah Carey).

Meanwhile, Steinfeld’s debut studio collection is scheduled to hit stores later this year through Republic Records.

Fifth Harmony schedule release date for debut album “Reflection”

Fifth Harmony have scheduled the release date for their debut album.

The pop quintet will release “Reflection” on November 17 via Syco Music in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

Lead single “Bo$$” – written by Taylor Parks, Eric Frederic, Joe Spargur, Daniel Kyriakides, Gamal “Lunchmoney” Lewis and Jacob Kasher Hindlin – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

“Reflection” serves as the follow-up to 2013 EP “Better Together,” which debuted at number six on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

The highly-anticipated LP is said to feature contributions from Julian Bunetta, Ruth-Anne Cunningham, Tommy Brown, and Victoria Monet.
