Lennon Stella drafts Timbaland for new collaboration

Canadian singer, songwriter, and actress Lennon Stella has drafted American record producer Timbaland for a new collaboration.

Timbaland recently produced “Filthy,” “Say Something,” “Young Man” and “Sauce,” taken from Justin Timberlake’s latest studio collection under Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records, “Man of the Woods.”

Timbaland’s other credits include Aaliyah’s “Try Again,” Sam Smith’s “Pray,” Nelly Furtado’s “Maneater,” Rihanna’s “Rehab,” Demi Lovato’s “All Night Long,” Keri Hilson’s “Return the Favor,” Madonna’s “Miles Away,” Missy Elliot’s “Work It,” Beyonce’s “Partition,” and Chris Brown’s “Paper, Scissors, Rock.”

Meanwhile, Stella is expected to release her debut project later this year via Barry Weiss’ label RECORDS in partnership with Columbia Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers additional productions from Joel Little, Alex Hope, Robopop, Two Inch Punch, Jonny Lattimer, Stint, Pip Kembo, Tommy English, MNEK, Jesse Shatkin, Big Taste, Jason Evigan, Steve Mostyn, Alex Niceforo, Benny Cassette, and The Monsters & Strangerz.

Lennon Stella signs new deal with RECORDS / Columbia Records

Canadian singer, songwriter, and actress Lennon Stella has signed a new deal with RECORDS/Columbia Records and will release her upcoming debut project later this year.

“Lennon’s unique artistry, point of view, distinctive vocal ability and star-power is simply overwhelming,” says Barry Weiss, Partner & Co-Founder, RECORDS. “We’re super excited to have her here at RECORDS. I’m elated that Jenna Andrews (who does A&R for the label) brought her to us.”

“I feel so lucky to work hand in hand with this incredible and inspiring group of people. There are no words to describe the feeling of finally being able to release my own music, something I have always dreamed of,” says Stella.

On the still-untitled collection, Stella has worked with songwriters including Amy Wadge, Maureen “MoZella” McDonald, Sarah Aarons, Trey Campbell, Sean Douglas, Max McElligott, Ali Tamposi, Chloe Angelides, Emily Warren, Fiona Bevan, Caitlyn Scarlett, Ella Henderson, Nate Cyphert, Parson James, Sam Fisher, Bipolar Sunshine, Elliphant, Ashlyn Wilson, and Jenna Andrews.

Ella Henderson drafts Sasha Sloan, Two Inch Punch for new single “Ugly”

British singer/songwriter Ella Henderson has selected “Ugly” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming sophomore album and will release it later this year via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written by Henderson alongside fellow recording artist Sasha Sloan, whose other credits include Camila Cabello’s “Never Be the Same,” Niia Rocco’s “Nobody,” Alma’s “Phases,” Maggie Lindemann’s “Pretty Girl,” Kygo’s “This Town,” and Louis Tomlinson’s “Just Hold On.”

Production duties on “Ugly” were handled by Two Inch Punch, who is also responsible for Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Human,” Dan Caplen’s “Two Fingers,” Saya’s “Cold Fire,” JP Cooper’s “Good Friend,” Sam Smith’s “Money on My Mind,” Anne-Marie’s “Boy,” Ella Eyre’s “Deeper,” and Moko’s “With You.”

The follow-up to 2014’s “Chapter One” reportedly boasts further contributions from Moon Willis, Lindy Robbins, Robopop, Cara Salimando, Danny Parker, Kamille, Fred Ball, Jennifer Decilveo, Martin Sjolie, Dyo, Cass Lowe, Shungudzo, Fraser T. Smith, Chiara Hunter, Dallas Austin, Lauren Aquilina, Jordan Riley, MoZella, Sam Romans, Isabella Summers, JHart, and Electric Music.

As a songwriter, Henderson recently co-penned “Guilty” for Paloma Faith alongside Wayne Hector and Peter Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn, and Thomas Barnes of UK songwriting/production trio TMS. The track appears on Faith’s fourth album under Sony Music Entertainment UK, “The Architect.”

Andy Grammer has delivered his new album online.

“The Good Parts” – featuring promotional singles “Fresh Eyes,” “Give Love,” “Smoke Clears” and “Freeze” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2014’s “Magazines or Novels” boasts productions from Jarrad Rogers (Charli XCX), Emanuel Kiriakou (Jason Derulo), Robopop (Prince Royce), Ian Kirkpatrick (Britney Spears), Nick Ruth (Kelly Clarkson), Warren “Oak” Felder (Liam Payne) and Kyle Moorman (Olly Murs).

Mullally hits the studio with Utters, Ed Thomas for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Connor Mullally-Knight, known mononymously as Mullally, has enlisted Ed Thomas and Utters for a new collaboration.

Thomas is responsible for co-writing Jorja Smith’s “On My Mind,” Louis Mattrs’ “Pink Lemonade,” Kiah Victoria’s “Cold War,” Zac Abel’s “Everybody Needs Love,” Aquilo’s “Thin,” and Maverick Sabre’s “Falling Again.”

Meanwhile, Utters’ production resume boasts works with AlunaGeorge (“Last Kiss”), Chronixx (“I Know Love”), Raleigh Ritchie (“In Too Deep”), All Saints (“One Woman Man”), Foxes (“Beauty Queen”), Ella Eyre (“Home”), Selah Sue (“Feel”) and Purple Ferdinand (“Through Your Eyes”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Mullally’s upcoming project – featuring current promotional single “She Don’t Know Me” – is expected to arrive early next year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

Calum Scott has announced the details for his new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “You Are the Reason” as the next promotional cut from his upcoming debut album under Capitol Records.

The track – which was written by Scott alongside Jon Maguire and Corey Sanders – will arrive on November 17 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Scott’s debut project reportedly boasts further songwriting contributions from Kamille, Sam Romans, Hayley Warner, Ross Golan, Maureen “MoZella” McDonald, BullySongs, Grace Tither, Max McElligott, Hannah Wilson, Philip Plested, Audra Mae, Sean Douglas, Grace Barker, and Iain James.

Ella Henderson has teamed up with Moon Willis for a new collaboration.

The UK record producer and songwriter (born Henry William Durham) is known for helming singles performed by Zac Samuel & Taya (“Never Letting Go”) and Justine Skye & Wizkid (“U Don’t Know”).

Moon Willis’ resume boasts additional alliances with Chris Brown (“Bite My Tongue”), Ray BLK (“Bad Boys”), Craig David (“It Was Always You”), Kyla (“Congratulations”), Becky Hill (“Insecure”), Melissa Steel (“Ray of Sunshine”), Laura Welsh (“You Don’t Even Know”) and RAYE (“Not for You”).

Meanwhile, Henderson is expected to release her second album and follow-up to 2014’s “Chapter One” later this year via Simon Cowell’s Syco Music.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further contributions from TMS (Raye), Fraser T.
