Grace Carter drafts Fabienne Holloway, Fred Cox for new single “Heal Me”

Grace Carter has announced the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “Heal Me” as her next promotional cut and will release it on January 25th via all digital streaming outlets.

Carter co-wrote “Heal Me” alongside Fabienne Holloway and Fred Cox, who have also helmed cuts for Idris Elba (“Fires”), Kara Marni (“Skydive”), Tori Kelly (“Mellow”), Rosie Lowe (“So Human”), Kiah Victoria (“Treat Me”), Janelle Monae (“Call the Lawd”) and Dakota (“Never Good Enough”).

Having signed a publishing deal with Tim Blacksmith and Danny D’s Stellar Songs, Carter is expected to release her upcoming project later this year via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

In addition to regular collaborators The 23rd, Carter has also recorded new music with Stephen “Koz” Kozmeniuk, Martin Sjolie, Om’mas Keith, Justin Parker, Digital Farm Animals, Francis “Eg” White, and Jordan Riley.

Stargate celebrate 20 years in the music business

Norwegian songwriting and production duo Stargate, which is composed of members Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen, have celebrated 20 years in the music business.

Alongside former member Hallgeir Rustan, and before relocating to the United States, Stargate have helmed hits for Samantha Mumba (“Always Come Back to Your Love”), Misteeq (“Scandalous”), Shola Ama (“Still Believe”), Blue (“All Rise”), Javine (“Real Things”), Atomic Kitten (“It’s OK”), Billie Piper (“Day & Night”), Fierce (“Sweet Love 2K”) and Ashley Ballard (“Hottie”).

Stargate’s recent credits include David Guetta’s “Light Headed,” Charli XCX’s “Girls Night Out,” Khalid’s “Stay,” Sabrina Carpenter’s “Almost Love,” Ne-Yo’s “Without You,” Tinashe’s “Faded Love,”  Majid Jordan’s “Body Talk,” Camila Cabello’s “OMG,” and Sam Smith’s “Too Good At Goodbyes.”

Under Tim Blacksmith and Danny D’s management, Stargate have also worked with songwriters Johnta Austin, Frankie Storm, Claude Kelly, Starrah, Phillip “Taj” Jackson, Autumn Rowe, Justin Tranter, Ester Dean, Ross Golan, Amanda Ghost, James Fauntleroy, Kristal “Tyterwriter” Oliver, and Ryan Toby.

Digital Farm Animals releases new promotional single “Say My Name”

British record producer and songwriter Nicholas Gale, professionally known as Digital Farm Animals, has released his new promotional single online.

“Say My Name” – which features Swedish singer/songwriter Iman – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by George Reid of AlunaGeorge, whose other credits include Taya’s “Sweet Waste of Time,” Raleigh Ritchie’s “A Moor,” Nao’s “Golden,” and Off Bloom’s “Shut Up and Let Me Walk.”

Fans of Digital Farm Animals’ production works should keep an eye on the next projects by Louisa Johnson, Rita Ora, Alma, John Newman, Chromeo, Era Istrefi, Grace Carter, Liam Payne, Anne-Marie, James Arthur, Conrad Sewell, Jojo, Astrid S, Kat Dahlia, L Devine, and Annika Rose.

His upcoming project – featuring promotional singles “Tokyo Nights,” “Digital Love” and “Wanna Know” – is expected to arrive later this year via Tim & Danny Music in partnership with Simco Limited.

Normani unveils new promotional single “Love Lies” with Khalid

American singer, songwriter, and dancer Normani has unveiled her new duet with fellow recording artist Khalid online.

“Love Lies” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Taken from the original motion picture soundtrack “Love, Simon;” the track was co-written by Taylor “Tayla Parx” Parks alongside Ryan “Charlie Handsome” Vojtesak and Jamil “Digi” Chammas.

Having signed a publishing deal with Tim Blacksmith and Danny D’s Stellar Songs, which also houses artists including Sam Smith and Grace Carter, Normani is expected to release her debut solo project later this year.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Stargate, Bonnie McKee, August Rigo, James Fauntleroy, Brittany “Starrah” Hazzard, and Matthew “Boi-1da” Samuels.

Normani Kordei announces release date for Khalid-duet “Love Lies”

American singer, songwriter, and dancer Normani Kordei has announced the release date for her new duet with fellow recording artist Khalid.

“Love Lies” is scheduled to arrive on February 14 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Taken from the upcoming original motion picture soundtrack “Love, Simon;” the track was co-written by Taylor “Tayla Parx” Parks alongside Ryan “Charlie Handsome” Vojtesak and Jamil “Digi” Chammas.

Founded by Tim Blacksmith and Danny D, Stellar Songs also houses artists, songwriters and producers including Stargate, Emeli Sande, Kiesza, Sam Smith, Autumn Rowe, Diztortion, Charli XCX, Girli, Netsky, and Grace Carter.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Kordei’s upcoming debut album – featuring contributions from Bonnie McKee, August Rigo, Tayla Parx, Boi-1da, and Stargate – is scheduled to arrive later this year.

Kordei has also recorded a new duet with fellow recording artist Khalid entitled “Love Lies,” taken from the upcoming original motion picture soundtrack “Love, Simon.” The track was co-written by Tayla Parks alongside Ryan “Charlie Handsome” Vojtesak and Jamil “Digi” Chammas.

Grace Carter connects with Justin Parker for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Grace Carter has tapped the songwriting and production services of Justin Parker for her upcoming debut project.

Parker’s resume boasts credits with Lana Del Rey (“Video Games”), Sia (“Straight for the Knife”), Ellie Goulding (“I Know You Care”), Rihanna (“Stay”), Linkin Park (“Invisible”), Kwabs (“Fight for Love”), Bat for Lashes (“Laura”), Seal (“Do You Ever”), Banks (“You Should Know Where I’m Coming From”), Keith Urban (“Shame”), Birdy (“Deep End”) and JONES (“Lonely Cry”).

He has also helmed songs with fellow musicians including Rick Rubin, Greg Kurstin, Emile Haynie, Starsmith, Jeff Bhasker, Al Shux, Teemu Brunila, Robopop, Fred Ball, Rodaidh McDonald, JHart, Clams Casino, Trevor Horn, Andrew Jackson, Talay Riley, Sam Dew, Ross Golan, Kevin Garrett, Jim Duguid, Rich Cooper, Jonny Lattimer, Benny Blanco, and Stargate.

Meanwhile, Carter, who is signed to Tim Blacksmith and Danny D’s Stellar Songs Publishing, will release her debut project – featuring lead single “Silence” – later this year via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.
