Usher confirms details for new album “Hard II Love”

Usher has confirmed the details for his upcoming album.

The singer, songwriter, and actor christened his eighth studio collection “Hard II Love” and will release it on September 16 via RCA Records.

Amongst the tracks slotted for inclusion on the follow-up to 2012’s “Looking for Myself” are “Crash,” “No Limit,” “Missin U” and “Champions.”

Brandon “B.A.M.” Hodge, Rock City, WondaGurl, and Carlos St. John are amongst the confirmed collaborators on “Hard II Love.”

The keenly-awaited project reportedly delivers additional alliances with Paul Epworth, Johnta Austin, Dapo Tormiro, Bryan Michael Cox, Priscilla Renea, Jermaine Dupri, Labrinth, Polow Da Don, and Knox Brown.

Ginny Blackmore has unwrapped the artwork for her upcoming debut album.

The New Zealand singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “Over the Moon” later this year through Sony Music Entertainment.

Blackmore wrote the album with record producers Aeon “Step” Manahan (Stan Walker, Alexandra Burke), Alan Nglish (CeeLo Green, Andreya Triana), Al Shux (Alicia Keys, Elle Varner) and Rob Wells (Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez).

On the songwriting front, the “Bones” star has penned songs for Christina Aguilera [RCA], Pixie Lott [Virgin EMI], Adam Lambert [Warner Bros], Katharine McPhee [eOne Music] and Nicole Scherzinger [TBA].

Her extensive resume includes further works with musicians such as Future Cut, Dapo Tormiro, Celetia Martin, Kevin Randolph, Iain James, Mojam, Lucas Secon, Freddy Wexler, Maiday, Jonathan Lipsey, and Ben Harrison.

Usher drafts Knox Brown for new album

R&B crooner Usher has added record producer and songwriter Knox Brown to the list of contributors for his upcoming eighth album.

Brown is known for producing and co-writing “Whole Damn Year” for Mary J. Blige along with Emeli Sande. The track appears on Blige’s latest album, “The London Session,” now available for download via iTunes.

Furthermore, Brown has contributed to the next projects by Jess Glynne [Atlantic Records], Raye [Polydor Records], Karen Harding [Capitol Records], Sinead Harnett [Virgin EMI Records] and Melissa Steel [Atlantic Records].

Meanwhile, Usher is expected to release his next studio collection later this year through Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

For the follow-up to 2013’s “Looking 4 Myself,” Usher has also collaborated with Paul Epworth (Adele, FKA twigs), Labrinth (Rihanna, Ed Sheeran), Priscilla Renea (Demi Lovato, Mariah Carey) and Dapo Tormiro (Brandy, John Legend).

Usher reunites with Jermaine Dupri, Bryan Michael Cox, Johnta Austin for new album

Usher has teamed up with Jermaine Dupri, Bryan Michael Cox, and Johnta Austin for his upcoming eighth studio album.

“Late night grind with Jermaine Dupri and Bryan Michael Cox, working on joints for Usher. The grind never stops,” Austin posted to his Instagram account.

The songwriting and production trio are responsible for Mariah Carey’s “We Belong Together” [Def Jam], Tamia’s “Still” [Elektra], Janet Jackson’s “Nothing” [A&M] and Leah LaBelle’s “What Do We Got to Lose” [Epic].

Dupri and Cox are also behind Usher’s international hit singles “Burn” and “Confessions (Part II),” taken from his fourth album “Confessions.”

Austin, on the other hand, is the pen behind Melanie Fiona’s “This Time” [Republic], Jordin Sparks’ “Just for the Record” [Jive], Leona Lewis’ “Angel” [Syco Music] and Enrique Iglesias’ “On Top of You” [Interscope].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Usher’s eighth album will hit stores and digital outlets later this year under Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The keenly-awaited CD reportedly boasts further alliances with Dapo Tormiro (Toni Braxton, Ella Henderson), Priscilla Renea (Beyonce, Alicia Keys), Max Martin (Kelis, Britney Spears) and Bebe Rexha (Tinashe, David Guetta).

Ella Henderson unveils debut album “Chapter One” credits

Chapter One

Ella Henderson has unveiled the official credits for her upcoming debut album.

The British singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “Chapter One” in the UK on October 13 via Syco Music in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment.

Lead single “Ghost” – which was written by Ella Henderson along with Ryan Tedder and Noel Zancanella – peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart.

“Chapter One” boasts further songwriting contributions from Lindy Robbins, Johan Carlsson, Camille Purcell, Antonio “Tony” Dixon, Laura “LP” Pergolizzi, Claude Kelly, James Napier, Bradford Ellis and Jamie Scott.

On the production front, Henderson has teamed up with Babyface, Salaam Remi, Richard Stannard, Ash Howes, Steve Mac, Happy Perez, Warren Felder, Steve Mostyn, TMS, Al Shux, Dapo Tormiro, Toby Smith and Steve Robson.

Stacy Barthe has streamed her new mini-album “P.S. I Love You” online.

The new collection serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “In the InBetween,” which boasted productions from Dapo Tormiro (Toni Braxton, Justin Bieber) and Dwayne “Supa Dups” Chin-Quee (Melanie Fiona, Christina Aguilera).

Barthe is currently working on her upcoming as-yet-untitled debut album, due later this year via Universal Music Group / HomeSchool / Motown Records.

As a songwriter, she has recently helmed tracks including “When It’s All Over” by Alicia Keys [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], “Like I Love You” by Melanie Fiona [Universal Music Group / Republic Records] and “Speak Ya Mind” by Estelle [Warner Music Group / HomeSchool / Atlantic Records].
