British singer/songwriter Dan Caplen has teased a new collaboration with Jamie Scott, Wayne Hector, and Jonny Coffer.

“Catching ideas yesterday with Jamie Scott x Wayne Hector x Jonny Coffer,” he posted to his Instagram on Wednesday (September 27, 2017).

Scott and Coffer have collectively written and produced songs for Rag’n’Bone Man (“Skin”), Ady Suleiman (“Wait for You”), Beach (“Bite My Tongue”) and Ella Henderson (“Paperback Love”).

Meanwhile, Hector’s recent songwriting credits include Taya’s “When You’re Sober,” Olly Murs’ “You Don’t Know Love,” Emeli Sande’s “Highs & Lows,” Little Mix’s “Nothing Else Matters,” Birdy’s “Hear You Calling,” Anne-Marie’s “Alarm,” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “First Time,” and JONES’ “Til We Get There.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Caplen’s upcoming project – featuring the Ray BLK-featuring / Jordan Riley and Mark Ralph-produced “Flat Champagne” – will arrive later this year via Atlantic Records UK.

Other musicians expected to appear on the still-untitled collection are Fred Cox, Amy Wadge, Two Inch Punch, Hannah Yadi, Frank Gamble, Jennifer Decilveo, Levi Lennox, Amish “ADP” Patel, Jamie Hartman, Fraser T. Smith, Grades, Dave Tozer, Bastian Langebaek, Fred Ball, MJ Cole, and Felix Joseph.

Dan Caplen enlists Jennifer Decilveo for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Daniel Sebastian Caplen, professionally known as Dan Caplen, has enlisted Jennifer Decilveo for a new collaboration.

According to ASCAP’s ACE Repertory, Decilveo previously co-wrote three tracks with Caplen in the shape of “Good Temptations,” “Hoops,” and “Say My Name.”

Her songwriting resume boasts additional works with Ryn Weaver (“Sail On”), Melanie Martinez (“Play Date”), Diana Gordon (“Bleeding Out”), Beth Ditto (“We Could Run”), Michelle Branch (“Temporary Feeling”), Andra Day (“Rise Up”), Rebecca Ferguson (“Without a Woman”) and Wens (“Bleed”).

Meanwhile, Caplen’s upcoming project – featuring the Ray BLK-featuring / Jordan Riley and Mark Ralph-produced “Flat Champagne” – will arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

Dan Caplen has drafted Felix Joseph for a new collaboration.

Joseph recently helmed the entirety of Elli Ingram’s debut album under Island Records, “Love You Really,” which features promotional singles “Stone Cold,” “Better Alone” and the Laura Dockrill-assisted “Table for Two.”

The British record producer, songwriter, photographer, and art director has also worked with the likes of Abi Ocia (“Konfyt”), Jorja Smith (“Beautiful Little Fools”), Aquilo (“Never Hurt Again”), Cosima (“Hymns for Him”), Kwabs (“Perfect Ruin”), Ray BLK (“50/50”), Professor Green (“Not Your Man”), Birdy (“Take My Heart”) and Kevin Garrett (“Pulling Me Under”).

The British record producer and songwriter (born Benjamin Ross Ash) has recently helmed songs for Elijah Blake (“Black & Blue”), Kodaline (“Brother”), Rex Orange County (“Untitled”) and Rag’n’Bone Man (“Ego”).

Craig David hits the studio with JP Cooper, White N3rd

British singer/songwriter Craig David has recorded new music with fellow UK artist JP Cooper and regular collaborator White N3rd.

White N3rd (real name Scott Wild) previously teamed up with David on hit singles “When the Bassline Drops” and “One More Time,” taken from the artist’s 2016 album, “Following My Intuition.”

Cooper, on the other hand, is scheduled to release his debut album “Raised Under Grey Skies” on September 22 via Island Records. The highly-anticipated collection features contributions from Teemu Brunila (“Party”), Mike Spencer (“September Song”), Jamie Hartman (“Passport Home”) Two Inch Punch (“Good Friend”), Mark Taylor (“Wait”) and Nonfiction (“Masterpiece”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, David’s seventh studio collection is expected to arrive later this year via Sony Music Entertainment UK in partnership with Speakerbox / Insanity Records.

Craig David reunites with Mojam Music for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Craig David has reunited Mustafa Omer and James Murray of Mojam Music for a new collaboration.

The songwriting and production duo previously teamed up with David on “Talking About,” performed by fellow UK recording artist Conor Maynard. Peaking to number fourty-four on the UK Singles Chart, the track was also co-written alongside Jonathan “Jonny” Coffer and Hanni “Youthonix” Ibrahim.
