David Guetta reunites with Ester Dean for new album

David Guetta has reunited with Ester Dean for his upcoming seventh album.

Dean previously teamed up with Guetta on hit singles “Turn Me On” and “Hey Mama,” which peaked to numbers four and eight on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart, respectively.

Her songwriting resume boasts further works with Rihanna (“What’s My Name”), Beyonce (“Start Over”), Kelly Rowland (“Lay it On Me”), Jennifer Hudson (“Gone”), Britney Spears (“Selfish”) and Katy Perry (“Peacock”).

Meanwhile, Guetta is expected to release the follow-up to 2014’s “Listen” – featuring guest appearances from Akon, KStewart, Sean Paul, K Camp, and Jess Glynne – later this year through Parlophone Records and Atlantic Records.

Other album contributors include Jason Evigan (Madonna), Sean Douglas (Icona Pop), Cass Lowe (Tinashe), Priscilla Renea (Chromeo), Neff-U (Justin Bieber), Camille Purcell (James Blunt) and Ben Billions (The Weeknd).

David Guetta taps Priscilla Renea for sixth album

French DJ and record producer David Guetta has added Priscilla Renea Hamilton to the list of contributors for his upcoming sixth album.

Hamilton recently co-wrote “Time” for K. Michelle along with the song’s producer Eric Hudson. The track appears on K. Michelle’s latest album, “More Issues Than Vogue,” now available for download via Atlantic Records.

Other notable songwriting credits by Hamilton include Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It” [Syco], Mariah Carey’s “Infinity” [Epic], Rihanna’s “Watch ‘N Learn” [Def Jam] and Demi Lovato’s “Fix a Heart” [Hollywood].

Meanwhile, Guetta is expected to release the follow-up to 2014’s “Listen” later this year through Parlophone Records (UK) and Atlantic Records (US).

The still-untitled LP delivers additional alliances with Jason Evigan (Madonna, Bebe Rexha), Sean Douglas (Thomas Rhett, Enrique Iglesias), Cass Lowe (Tinashe, Ella Henderson) and Ben Billions (Kelly Rowland, The Weeknd).

Meanwhile, fans of Priscilla Renea Hamilton’s poignant songwriting should look out for the next projects by Betty Who [RCA], Clean Bandit [Atlantic], Usher [RCA] and Chromeo [Big Beat].

David Guetta works with Camille Purcell, Jason Evigan

David Guetta has enlisted Camille Purcell and Jason Evigan for new music.

Purcell is known for co-writing songs with Fleur East (“Sax”), Little Mix (“Black Magic”), Ella Henderson (“Glow”), and Leona Lewis (“Mr. Right”).

Meanwhile, Evigan previously teamed up with Guetta on hit singles “Dangerous,” “What I Did for Love” and “Lovers on the Sun.”

Other notable songwriting / production credits by Evigan include Madonna’s “Ghosttown” [Interscope], Jason Derulo’s “Cheyenne” [Warner Bros], Nick Jonas’ “Chains” [Island], and Kelly Clarkson’s “Heartbeat Song” [RCA].

Guetta, on the other hand, is expected to release his seventh studio collection next year through Parlophone Records and Atlantic Records.

David Guetta has recorded new music with Sean Douglas and KStewart.

It is yet to be known whether those sessions are intended for Guetta’s upcoming album under Parlophone Records (UK) and Atlantic Records (US).

KStewart is known for providing guest vocals on Oliver Heldens’ “Last All Night (Koala),” which peaked to number four on the UK Singles Chart.

Her upcoming debut album – featuring singles “Ain’t Nobody” and “Keeping You Up” – is scheduled for release next year through Cherry Bomb Records.

Meanwhile, Douglas previously teamed up with Guetta on hit singles “What I Did for Love” (featuring Emeli Sande), and “Hey Mama” (featuring Afrojack, Nicki Minaj, and Bebe Rexha).

His other songwriting credits include Madonna’s “Ghosttown” [Interscope], Thomas Rhett’s “Die a Happy Man” [Valory], Austin Mahone’s “Dirty Work” [Republic], and Nick Jonas’ “Levels” [Island].

Guetta’s latest studio collection, 2014’s “Listen,” debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also delivered several singles including “Lovers on the Sun,” “Bang My Head,” and “Dangerous.”

Bebe Rexha unwraps artwork for debut EP “I Don’t Wanna Grow Up”

Bebe Rexha has unwrapped the artwork for her upcoming debut EP.

The singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “I Don’t Wanna Grow Up” on May 12 via iTunes in partnership with Warner Bros Records.

Lead singles “I Can’t Stop Drinking About You” and “I’m Gonna Show You Crazy” are now available for download from all digital outlets.

Among the musicians backing Rexha on the EP are Jason Evigan (Madonna, Jason Derulo), Lauren Christy (Chris Brown, Jamie Foxx), Jon Levine (Selena Gomez, Nelly Furtado) and The Monsters & the Strangerz (Sia, Maroon 5).

On the songwriting front, Rexha has contributed to the forthcoming studio albums by Usher [RCA Records] and Becky Hill [Parlophone Records].

Her previous songwriting credits include David Guetta’s “Hey Mama” [Parlophone], Tinashe’s “2 On” [RCA], Nikki Williams’ “Glowing” [Def Jam] and Eminem’s “Monster” f/ Rihanna [Interscope].

Bebe Rexha has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “I’m Gonna Show You Crazy” to her official YouTube channel on Tuesday (April 21, 2015).

“I’m Gonna Show You Crazy” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by Bebe Rexha along with Lauren Christy (Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears) and Jon Levine (Kat Dahlia, Leona Lewis).

Video treatment was handled by Hannah Lux Davis, whose other credits include Ciara’s “I Bet” [Epic Records], Ariana Grande’s “Love Me Harder” [Republic Records] and Lea Michele’s “On My Way” [Columbia Records].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Rexha’s upcoming debut album is scheduled to hit stores and digital outlets later this year under Warner Bros Records.

The still-untitled project features further collaborations with Billy Steinberg (Jojo, Katharine McPhee), Fraser T. Smith (Adele, Nelly Furtado), Jason Evigan (Zendaya, Jason Derulo) and Chris Braide (Beyonce, Colbie Caillat).

On the songwriting front, Rexha has teamed with Jarrad “Jaz” Rogers to write songs for Becky Hill’s debut album under Parlophone Records.

Some of Rexha’s previous songwriting credits are Tinashe’s “All Hands on Deck” [RCA Records], Selena Gomez’s “Champion” [Hollywood Records] and Eminem’s “Monster” f/ Rihanna [Interscope Records].

She also co-wrote and provided guest vocals on the tracks “Yesterday” and “Hey Mama,” taken from David Guetta’s latest album “Listen.”

Ariana Grande premieres “One Last Time” music video

Ariana Grande has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the Max Landis-directed clip for “One Last Time” to her official Vevo page on Sunday (February 15, 2015).

“One Last Time” was co-written by David Guetta and Giorgio Tuinfort along with Savan Kotecha, whose other credits include Tori Kelly’s “Nobody Love” [Capitol Records] and Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” [Republic Records].

Production duties on “One Last Time” were handled by Carl Falk and Rami Yacoub along with Ilya KnocDown, who also teamed with Grande on hit singles “Problem” f/ Iggy Azalea and “Bang Bang” w/ Jessie J and Nicki Minaj.

Grande’s sophomore album “My Everything” – featuring promotional cuts “Love Me Harder,” “Break Free” and “Just a Little Bit of Your Heart” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Republic Records.
