Mutya Keisha Siobahn reunite for new music

Mutya Keisha Siobhan have reunited in the studio for new music.

The British girl group – composed of members Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghey – have released their last single “Flatline” in 2013 via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records. The Devonte Hynes-produced cut peaked to number fifty on the UK Singles Chart.

Their song “Love in Stereo,” which was written by the trio alongside Hannah Robinson and Richard X, appears on Bananarama’s latest studio collection, “In Stereo,” now available via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.

As the the original line-up of Sugababes, the trio’s debut album “One Touch” dropped in November 2000 via London Records. The critically-acclaimed collection debuted at number twenty-six on the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles “Overload,” “Run for Cover,” “New Year” and “Soul Sound.”

While Buchanan has not released a solo album as-of-yet, Donaghy released two albums in the shape of “Revolution in Me” (2003) and “Ghosts” (2007). Buena’s solo album “Real Girl” was released in 2007 via Island Records UK.

That project featured lead single “Real Girl,” as well as contributions from Salaam Remi, Wayne Wilkins, Nina Woodford, Johnny Douglas, Angela Hunte, Felix Howard, Pam Sheyne, Ali Tennant, and Francis “Eg” White.

Bananarama record MKS song for new album “In Stereo”

British female pop duo Bananarama – composed of Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward – have a recorded a song originally performed by MKS for their eleventh album, “In Stereo,” which will arrive on April 19 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

“Love in Stereo” was written by MKS members Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy alongside Hannah Robinson and Richard X, who are also responsible for Rachel Stevens’ “Some Girls,” Sophie Ellis Bextor’s “Starlight,” and Kylie Minogue’s “Can’t Beat the Feeling.”

Originally formed in 1998 as Sugababes, MKS have released their last single “Flatline” (which was co-written and produced by Blood Orange’s Devonte Hynes) in 2013 via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

Their highly-anticipated album featured further contributions from Richard “Biff” Stannard (“Beat is Gone”), Shaznay Lewis (“Boys”), Tom Aspaul (“Burnt Out”), MNEK (“Drum”), Iain James (“Love Me Hard”), Sia (“Surrender”), Eliot James (“Summer of 99”) and Mojam (“Too in Love”).

Mariah Carey premieres music video for new single “A No No”

Mariah Carey has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “A No No” was posted to the American singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Friday (March 08, 2019).

The track was co-written by fellow recording artist Priscilla Renea, whose recent credits include Ariana Grande’s “Fake Smile,” David Guetta’s “She Knows How to Love,” Mary J. Blige’s “It’s Me,” Tamar Braxton’s “Heart in My Hands,” Kelly Clarkson’s “Love So Soft,” and Alma’s “Chit Chat.”

Production duties on “A No No” were collectively handled by Carey alongside Shea Taylor (Beyonce’s “Countdown,” Rihanna’s “Question Existing,” Ne-Yo’s “Lazy Love”) and Jermaine Dupri (Janet Jackson’s “Rock With You,” Monica’s “Love All Over Me,” Whitney Houston’s “Never Give Up”).

Carey’s latest album “Caution” – featuring further contributions from The Stereotypes (“Stay Long Love You”), DJ Mustard (“With You”), Fred Ball (“One Mo’ Gen”), Dev Hynes (“Giving Me Life”) and Timbaland (“8th Grade”) – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Solange unleashes new album “When I Get Home”

American singer, songwriter and record producer Solange Knowles, known mononymously as Solange, has unleashed her new studio collection online.

“When I Get Home” – featuring guest appearances from Cassie, Tyler the Creator, Devin the Dude, Playboi Carti, Sampha, Gucci Mane, and Scarface – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2016’s “A Seat At the Table” also delivers productions and songwriting contributions from Pharrell Williams, The-Dream, Raphael Saadiq, Dev Hynes, Metro Boomin, John Key, Steve Lacy, Chassol, John Carroll Kirby, Panda Bear, Jamire Williams, and Standing on the Corner.

Mariah Carey has liberated her fifteenth studio collection online.

“Caution” – featuring singles “GTFO,” “With You,” “The Distance” and “A No No” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

On the highly-anticipated project, Carey has worked with songwriters and producers including The Stereotypes, Dev Hynes, Skrillex, Priscilla Renea, Timbaland, Bibi Bourelly, Lido, Prince Charlez, Fred Ball, WondaGurl, Nineteen85, Poo Bear, Shea Taylor, DJ Mustard, and No I.D.

Diana Gordon releases new promotional single “Kool Aid”

Diana Gordon has released her new promotional single online.

“Kool Aid” – which was produced by Chris Petersino and Rob McCurdy of Noise Club – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was also co-written by Asia Whiteacre, who is also responsible for Bebe Rexha’s “Ferrari,” Alina Baraz’s “Floating,” Kate Nash’s “Body Heat,” 5 Seconds of Summer’s “Want You Back,” Louis Tomlinson’s “Want You Back,” Sam Fisher’s “Getting Older,” and Hailee Steinfeld’s “Most Girls.”

In addition to prepping her next project, Gordon has also collaborated with songwriters and producers Mark Ronson, Diplo, Justin Tranter, Devonte Hynes, Emile Hyanie, Andrew Wyatt, Ilsey Juber, and Chris Loco.

Diana Gordon drafts Mark Ronson, Ilsey Juber for new collaboration

American singer/songwriter Diana Gordon has drafted fellow musicians Mark Ronson and Ilsey Juber for a new collaboration.

Ronson’s production resume boasts works with Amy Winehouse (“Rehab”), Lady Gaga (“Perfect Illusion”), Bruno Mars (“Locked Out of Heaven”), Christina Aguilera (“Slow Down”), Estelle (“Magnificent”), Leon Jean Marie (“Bed of Nails”), Adele (“Lay Me Down”) and Lily Allen (“My One”).

Meanwhile, Juber is responsible for co-writing Lykke Li’s “Deep End,” Camila Cabello’s “She Loves Control,” Kelly Clarkson’s “Meaning of Life,” Demi Lovato’s “Only Forever,” Noah Cyrus’ “Almost Famous,” Dua Lipa’s “No Goodbyes,” Tinashe’s “Flame,” and Britney Spears’ “Man on the Moon.”

Gordon’s upcoming project and follow-up to 2015’s “Five Needle” – featuring current promotional single “Woman” – is expected to arrive later this year.

The still-untitled collection reportedly yields additional alliances with Chris Loco (Anne-Marie, Kara Marni), Dev Hynes (Solange, FKA twigs), Justin Tranter (Bebe Rexha, Janelle Monae) and Diplo (Sia, Katy Perry).
