Jojo hits the studio with Max Wolfgang, Stint

American singer/songwriter Joanna Levesque, known mononymously as Jojo, has teamed up with Max Wolfgang and Stint for a new collaboration.

Among the artists Max Wolfgang has previously penned songs for are Kygo (“Never Let You Go”), Zayn Malik (“Back to Life”), Paloma Faith (“Loyal”), Kylie Minogue (“Your Body”), Chelcee Grimes (“Just Like That”), Jackson Penn (“Streetlights on Mars”) and Rudimental (“Lay It All On Me”).

Meanwhile, Stint (born Ajay Bhattacharyya) is responsible for producing Alina Baraz’s “Feels Right,” Nao’s “Drive and Disconnect,” Jessie Ware’s “Alone,” Sabrina Claudio’s “Unravel Me,” Demi Lovato’s “Tell Me You Love Me,” AlunaGeorge’s “Jealous,” and Zara Larsson’s “Make That Money Girl.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Jojo is expected to release her fourth studio collection and follow-up to 2016’s “Mad Love” later this year via her own imprint Clover Music in partnership with Interscope Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly yields further contributions from Jermaine Dupri, Natt Dunn, Bryan Michael Cox, Diana Gordon, Billy Steinberg, Caroline Ailin, D’Mile, Chloe Angelides, Iain James, Steph Jones, Chris Loco, Kennedi, Digital Farm Animals, Skyler Stonestreet, Big Taste, and Myah Marie.

Jojo enlists Jermaine Dupri, Bryan Michael Cox for new collaboration

American singer/songwriter Joanne Levesque, professionally known as Jojo, has enlisted Jermaine Dupri and Bryan Michael Cox for a new collaboration.

The songwriting and production duo are responsible for Mariah Carey’s “Don’t Forget About Us,” Usher’s “Burn,” Janet Jackson’s “Nothing,” Chante Moore’s “Straight Up,” Monica’s “Love All Over Me,” and Tamar Braxton’s “Get None.”

Dupri and Cox have also worked with Alicia Keys (“Girlfriend”), Faith Evans (“Tru Love”), Tamia (“Still”), Whitney Houston (“Never Give Up”), Christina Milian (“Girl Like Me”), Nivea (“Parking Lot”) and 3LW (“Feeling You”).

Meanwhile, Jojo is expected to release her fourth studio collection early next year via her own imprint Clover Music in partnership with Interscope Records.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Mad Love” reportedly yields additional alliances with Billy Steinberg, Diana Gordon, Chris Loco, Natalie Dunn, D’Mile, Caroline Ailin, Kyle Shearer, ADP, Iain James, Digital Farm Animals, Patrick “J. Que” Smith, Big Taste, Nick Monson, Alex Hope, and Jussi “Jussifer” Karvinen.

Diana Gordon releases new promotional single “Kool Aid”

Diana Gordon has released her new promotional single online.

“Kool Aid” – which was produced by Chris Petersino and Rob McCurdy of Noise Club – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was also co-written by Asia Whiteacre, who is also responsible for Bebe Rexha’s “Ferrari,” Alina Baraz’s “Floating,” Kate Nash’s “Body Heat,” 5 Seconds of Summer’s “Want You Back,” Louis Tomlinson’s “Want You Back,” Sam Fisher’s “Getting Older,” and Hailee Steinfeld’s “Most Girls.”

In addition to prepping her next project, Gordon has also collaborated with songwriters and producers Mark Ronson, Diplo, Justin Tranter, Devonte Hynes, Emile Hyanie, Andrew Wyatt, Ilsey Juber, and Chris Loco.

Rita Ora drafts Cardi B, Bebe Rexha, Charli XCX for new single “Girls”

British singer/songwriter Rita Ora has drafted fellow recording artists Cardi B, Bebe Rexha and Charli XCX for her new promotional single “Girls.”

Scheduled to arrive on May 11 via all other digital streaming outlets; “Girls” was written by Ali Tamposi (Beyonce, Demi Lovato), Brian Lee (Camila Cabello, Selena Gomez), Andrew Watt (Post Malone, Justin Bieber) and Jonny Coffer (Emeli Sande, Rag’n’Bone Man).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Ora’s sophomore album – featuring previous singles “Anywhere,” “This Song” and “Proud” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

The still-untitled collection reportedly yields from songwriting contributions from Jason Boyd, Eyelar, Gabrielle Nowee, Sam Romans, Chelcee Grimes, Diana Gordon, Max McElligott, Ammar Malik, and Justin Tranter.

On the production front, Ora has worked with Stargate, Jason Evigan, King Henry, Mike Dean, Jake Gosling, Emile Haynie, Digital Farm Animals, Jimmy Napes, Leon Thomas, Freedo, Nolan Lambroza, Steve Mac, and Ritual.

American singer/songwriter Diana Gordon has drafted fellow musicians Mark Ronson and Ilsey Juber for a new collaboration.

Ronson’s production resume boasts works with Amy Winehouse (“Rehab”), Lady Gaga (“Perfect Illusion”), Bruno Mars (“Locked Out of Heaven”), Christina Aguilera (“Slow Down”), Estelle (“Magnificent”), Leon Jean Marie (“Bed of Nails”), Adele (“Lay Me Down”) and Lily Allen (“My One”).

Meanwhile, Juber is responsible for co-writing Lykke Li’s “Deep End,” Camila Cabello’s “She Loves Control,” Kelly Clarkson’s “Meaning of Life,” Demi Lovato’s “Only Forever,” Noah Cyrus’ “Almost Famous,” Dua Lipa’s “No Goodbyes,” Tinashe’s “Flame,” and Britney Spears’ “Man on the Moon.”

Gordon’s upcoming project and follow-up to 2015’s “Five Needle” – featuring current promotional single “Woman” – is expected to arrive later this year.

Diana Gordon reunites with Diplo for new collaboration

Diana Gordon has reunited with Diplo for a new collaboration.

The American singer/songwriter (formerly known as Wynter Gordon) previously co-wrote and provided guest vocals on the track “Keep Cool,” taken from Major Lazer’s sophomore album “Free the Universe.”

Born Thomas Wesley Pentz; Diplo is also known for producing cuts performed by Beyonce (“All Night Long”), Sia (“Elastic Heart”), Britney Spears (“Passenger”), The Weeknd (“Nothing Without You”), Madonna (“Unapologetic Bitch), Chris Brown (“X”) and Justin Bieber (“Where Are U Now?”).

Meanwhile, Gordon’s next project – featuring further contributions from Chris Loco, Dev Hynes and Justin Tranter – is expected to arrive later this year.

Her current promotional single “Woman” – which was co-written by Kevin Cossom and Jaramye Daniels and collectively produced by Illangelo and Noise Club – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As a songwriter, Gordon’s resume boasts works with Beyonce (“Sorry”), Mary J. Blige (“Gonna Breakthrough”), Jennifer Lopez (“Starting Over”), Ciara (“Livin’ it Up”), David Guetta (“Toyfriend”), Rebecca Ferguson (“Without a Woman”), Somewhere Else (“Uh Huh”) and Chloe x Halle (“The Kids Are Alright”).

Diana Gordon reunites with Justin Tranter for new collaboration

American singer/songwriter Diana Gordon has reunited with fellow musician Justin Tranter for a new collaboration.

Tranter and Gordon previously co-wrote “Tension” for Fergie alongside the song’s producer Alessandro “Alesso” Lindbald. The track appears on Fergie’s sophomore studio collection, “Double Dutchess,” which peaked to number nineteen on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Tranter’s credits also include Janelle Monae’s “Make Me Feel,” Billy Raffoul’s “Acoustic,” Julia Michaels’ “Are You,” Camila Cabello’s “Into It,” Nick Jonas’ “Home,” Selena Gomez’s “Bad Liar,” and Britney Spears’ “Slumber Party.”

Gordon’s upcoming project – which reportedly features further contributions from Chris Loco and Devonte Hynes – is expected to arrive later this year.

As a songwriter, Gordon recently co-wrote “The Kids Are Alright” for Chloe x Halle alongside Tayla Parx. The track appears on the duo’s debut album of the same name, out now via Parkwood Entertainment / Columbia Records.

Gordon also provided guest vocals on Somewhere Else’s current promotional single “Uh Huh” and co-wrote it with group members Billy Walsh and Carlo “Illangelo” Montagnese.
