Irish singer-songwriter Ruth-Anne Cunningham, who also goes by the name of Rooty, has hinted at a new collaboration with fellow recording artist Stanaj and legendary songwriter Diane Warren.
“Very special day today with Diane Warren. Can’t wait for y’all to hear. And so great to hang with Stanaj, who is smashing it right now,” Cunningham posted to her Instagram account (@iamrootymusic).
Cunningham recently provided guest vocals on the track “Pray,” taken from the upcoming original motion picture soundtrack, “Fifty Shades Darker.”
As a songwriter, she has worked with Alex & Sierra (“Little Do You Know”), Jojo (“Too Little, Too Late”), Katherine McPhee (“Over It”), Leona Lewis (“Perfection”), Thirdstory (“G Train”), One Direction (“No Control”), Pixie Lott (“Turn it Up”), and Zac Samuel & Moon Willis (“Never Letting Go”).
Meanwhile, Stanaj is expected to release his first studio collection later this year via Universal Music Group / Republic Records.
The still-untitled project reportedly delivers contributions from Fraser T. Smith, Ross Golan, Stephan Moccio, Carmen Reece, Eric Hudson, Taylor Parks, Ido Zmishlany, Jacob Luttrell, Cass Lowe, Evan Bogart, Mick Schultz, Chloe Angelides, Tommy Brown, Helen Culver, and Scott Harris.
Stanaj’s debut mini-collection “The Preview” – featuring collaborations with Fredro, Sebastian Kole, Chelcee Grimes, Michael Angelo, Andy Hollander, Dana Parish, Hazebanga, Justin Tranter, and Mattman & Robin – is out now via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.
