Jennifer Hudson reunites with Diane Warren for new album

Jennifer Hudson has reunited with Diane Warren for her upcoming album.

“Wait till you hear what me and Jennifer are cookin’ up,” the legendary songwriter posted to Instagram on Wednesday (February 01, 2017).

Warren previously teamed up with Hudson on the Harvey Mason Jr.-produced “You Pulled Me Through” and “Still Here,” which was also recorded by British singer-songwriter Natasha Bedingfield.

Fans of Warren’s poignant songwriting should also look out for the next releases by Leona Lewis, Demi Lovato, Kiesza, Lea Michele, Mariah Carey, Kelly Rowland, Stanaj, Max George, Zendaya, Abbey Smith, Kyla, Paloma Faith, Andra Day, Conrad Sewell, and Ferras.

Meanwhile, Hudson is expected to release her fourth studio collection later this year through Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts additional alliances with Toby Gad (John Legend), Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds (Alicia Keys), Lauren Christy (Bebe Rexha) and Jon “The Rabbi” Levine (Rachel Platten).

Hudson’s previous studio collection, 2014’s “JHUD,” debuted at number ten on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles “I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel),” “Walk it Out,” “I Still Love You” and “It’s Your World.”

Lea Michele confirms details for sophomore album

Lea Michele has confirmed the details for her upcoming sophomore album.

The actress, singer, and songwriter christened her second studio collection “Places” and will release it later this year via Columbia Records.

Amongst the tracks slotted for inclusion on the follow-up to 2014’s “Louder” are “Love Is Alive,” “Run To You,” “Getaway Car” and “Hey You.”

In addition to confirmed collaborators Toby Gad and John Shanks, the highly-anticipated project reportedly delivers further productions from Afrojack, Stephan Moccio, Matt Rad, and Kid Harpoon.

On the songwriting front, Michele has teamed up with Ali Tamposi, Wrabel, Jolene Belle, Chloe Angelides, Julia Michaels, and Diane Warren.

Stanaj releases new mini-collection “From a Distance”

Stanaj has released his second mini-collection online.

“From a Distance” – featuring “Change,” “Meant to Be,” “Bad Woman” and “Find Me” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2016’s “The Preview” boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Rodney Jerkins (Justin Bieber), Carmen Reece (Ariana Grande), Fraser T. Smith (Sam Smith) and JHart (Zara Larsson).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Stanaj is currently working on his first studio collection under Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers songwriting contributions from Ross Golan, Diane Warren, Jacob Luttrell, Ruth-Anne Cunningham, Evan “Kidd” Bogart, Taylor Parks, and Scott Harris.

On the production front, Stanaj has worked with Eric Hudson, Tommy Brown, Mick Shultz, Cass Lowe, Ido Zmishlany, and Stephan Moccio.

Ruth-Anne Cunningham hints at new collaboration with Stanaj, Diane Warren

Irish singer-songwriter Ruth-Anne Cunningham, who also goes by the name of Rooty, has hinted at a new collaboration with fellow recording artist Stanaj and legendary songwriter Diane Warren.

“Very special day today with Diane Warren. Can’t wait for y’all to hear. And so great to hang with Stanaj, who is smashing it right now,” Cunningham posted to her Instagram account (@iamrootymusic).

Cunningham recently provided guest vocals on the track “Pray,” taken from the upcoming original motion picture soundtrack, “Fifty Shades Darker.”

As a songwriter, she has worked with Alex & Sierra (“Little Do You Know”), Jojo (“Too Little, Too Late”), Katherine McPhee (“Over It”), Leona Lewis (“Perfection”), Thirdstory (“G Train”), One Direction (“No Control”), Pixie Lott (“Turn it Up”), and Zac Samuel & Moon Willis (“Never Letting Go”).

Kiesza teams up with Stuart Price for new single “Dearly Beloved”

Kiesza has scheduled the release date for her new single.

The Canadian singer-songwriter – real name Kiesa Rae Ellestad – will release “Dearly Beloved” on January 6 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

“Dearly Beloved” was co-written and produced by Stuart Price, whose other credits include “Hung Up” (Madonna), “Singing Low” (The Fray), “Lion” (Kacy Hill), “Superheated” (New Order) and “Surrender” (Hurts).

Kiesza’s upcoming sophomore album reportedly delivers further contributions from Jenna Andrews, Diane Warren, Stargate, Axident, Jonas Jeberg, Kid Harpoon, Jonny Coffer, and Brandon “Donut” Bell.

Her first studio collection, 2014’s “Sound of a Woman,” topped the US Dance / Electronic Albums Chart and delivered singles including “Hideaway,” “Giant in My Heart” and “No Enemiesz.”

LeAnn Rimes has released her new album online.

“Remnants” – featuring “The Story,” “How to Kiss a Boy” and “I Couldn’t Do That to Me” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The project features productions and songwriting contributions from Toby Gad (Beyoncé, Craig David), Lindy Robbins (Brandy, Jason Derulo), Mark Batson (Nas, Alicia Keys), Diane Warren (Aaliyah, Lady GaGa), Paul Barry (Enrique Iglesias, James Bay) and Francis “Eg” White (Adele, Sam Smith).

Celine Dion has recorded new music with Diane Warren.

The pair previously teamed up on three tracks – “Because You Loved Me,” “Unfinished Songs” and “Love Can Move Mountains.”

Warren’s extensive resume boasts further works with Toni Braxton (“Unbreak My Heart”), Whitney Houston (“I Learned from the Best”), Christina Aguilera (“I Turn to You”) and Lady Gaga (“Til it Happens to You”).

The Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer also contributed to the next projects by Zendaya, Conrad Sewell, Lea Michele, Max George, Kiesza, Olly Murs, Abby Smith, Mariah Carey, and LeAnn Rimes.

Meanwhile, Dion’s upcoming English studio collection – featuring the Pink-assisted single “Recovering” – is expected to arrive next year via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Loved Me Back to Life,” which debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned contributions from Babyface (“Always Be Your Girl”), Ne-Yo (“Thank You”) and Francis “Eg” White (“Didn’t Know Love”).
