Rita Ora collaborates with Ed Sheeran for new album

Rita Ora has collaborated with Ed Sheeran for her upcoming second album.

During a recent interview with Noisey, the British songbird stated “I did this incredibly beautiful song with Ed about our friendship; he’s one of my best friends. It’s amazing having a friend in this industry of the opposite sex that you haven’t hooked up with. He’s such a legend. I respect him in so many ways.”

Sheeran previously co-wrote songs for other artists including Jessie Ware (“Say You Love Me”), Hilary Duff (“Tattoo”), Rixton (“Hotel Ceiling”) and Tori Kelly (“I Was Made for Loving You”).

His latest album “x” – featuring hit singles “Sing,” “Don’t,” “Thinking Out Loud,” “Photograph” and “Bloodstream” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Meanwhile, Ora’s sophomore studio collection will hit stores and digital outlets later this year under Roc Nation and Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project is preceded by new single “Poison,” which was written by Kate Nash along with Julia Michaels (Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato) and Nolan “Sir Nolan” Lambroza (Justin Bieber, Nick Jonas).

Other musicians backing Ora on the highly-anticipated new album are Dr. Luke (Ne-Yo, Katy Perry), Diplo (Usher, Britney Spears), Devonte Hynes (Tinashe, Carly Rae Jepsen) and DJ Mustard (Omarion, Charli XCX).

Rita Ora has announced the title for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “Poison” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming sophomore album.

“Poison” serves as the follow-up to the Calvin Harris-produced “I Will Never Let You Down,” which debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Rita’s second studio collection will hit stores and digital outlets later this year under Roc Nation and Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly features productions from Dr. Luke (Usher, Britney Spears), Diplo (Madonna, Chris Brown), DJ Mustard (Rihanna, Keyshia Cole) and Dev Hynes (Tinashe, Sky Ferreira).

Songwriters include J-Doe (Jennifer Lopez, Sevyn Streeter), Julia Michaels (Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato), Justin Tranter (Fifth Harmony, Kelly Clarkson) and Priscilla Renea (Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys).

Madonna premieres “Ghosttown” music video

Madonna has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The pop legend posted the visual clip for the Jonas Akerlund-directed “Ghosttown” to her Vevo channel on Wednesday (April 09, 2015).

“Ghosttown” was written by Madonna along with Jason Evigan (Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson), Evan “Kidd” Bogart (Christina Milian, Leona Lewis) and Sean Douglas (Meghan Trainor, Jason Derulo).

Production duties were handled by Madonna along with Mathieu “Billboard” Jomphe, who also worked with Shakira (“Dare – La La La”), Britney Spears (“Hold It Against Me”) and Ellie Goulding (“In My City”).

Madonna’s latest album “Rebel Heart” – featuring previous promotional cuts “Living for Love” and “Devil Prey” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Live Nation and Interscope Records.

Other album contributors include Toby Gad (Brandy, John Legend), Mozella (Rihanna, Miley Cyrus), Ariel Rechtshaid (Sky Ferreira, Charli XCX), Symbolyc One (Beyonce, Tamar Braxton) and Diplo (Usher, Ariana Grande).

Mozella releases new single “Can’t Get Enough”

Mozella has released her new single online.

“Can’t Get Enough” is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Palladium Records and Belle Isle Records.

The track was written by Mozella – real name Maureen McDonald – along with fellow singer/songwriter Tim Myers.

On the songwriting front, Mozella has contributed to the upcoming debut album by Interscope recording artist Pia Mia.

Some of her previous credits include Rihanna’s “Dancing in the Dark” [Roc Nation], Madonna’s “Living for Love” [Interscope], Kelly Clarkson’s “Take You High” [RCA] and Mary Lambert’s “Secrets” [Capitol].

She also worked with top musicians including Stephan Moccio (Ne-Yo, Ellie Goulding), Stargate (Tinashe, Bebe Rexha), Diplo (Sia, Katy Perry), Toby Gad (Beyonce, Alicia Keys) and Benny Cassette (Miguel, Sevyn Streeter).

Rita Ora has worked with Nolan “Sir Nolan” Lambroza on new material.

The Los Angeles-based musician is known for his collaborations with Pitbull [Polo Grounds Music], Christina Aguilera [RCA Records], Karmin [Epic Records], Cody Simpson [Atlantic Records] and Justin Bieber [Island Records].

Some of his recent production and songwriting credits are Kelly Clarkson’s “War Paint” [RCA Records], Nick Jonas’ “Jealous” [Island Records] and Lea Michele’s “Burn with You” [Columbia Records].

Meanwhile, Ora is scheduled to release her sophomore album later this year via Roc Nation and Sony Music Entertainment imprint Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “ORA,” which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and spawned four hit singles in the shape of “R.I.P.,” “How We Do (Party),” “Shine Ya Light” and “Radioactive.”

According to a new interview with Billboard magazine, Rita Ora’s sophomore album will feature contributions from record producer and songwriter Dr. Luke.

Recent credits by Dr. Luke include Usher’s “I Don’t Mind” [RCA Records], Ne-Yo’s “She Don’t Know” [Motown Records], Fifth Harmony’s “This is How We Roll” [Epic Records] and Nicki Minaj’s “Only” [Republic Records].

The hitmaker – born Lukasz Gottwald – also worked with Kelly Clarkson [RCA Records], Maroon 5 [Interscope Records], Nicki Minaj [Republic Records], Rihanna [SRP Records] and Katy Perry [Capitol Records].

Meanwhile, Ora will release her next studio collection and follow-up to 2012’s “ORA” later this year via Roc Nation and Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project features further collaborations with will.i.am (Usher, Mariah Carey), Diplo (Madonna, Chris Brown), Tommy Brown (Ariana Grande, Jordin Sparks) and Devonte Hynes (Carly Rae Jepsen, Sky Ferreira).

Current single “Grateful” – taken from the original motion picture soundtrack “Beyond the Lights” – is now available for download via iTunes.

The pop star will release “Rebel Heart” on March 9 via Live Nation Entertainment in partnership with Interscope Records.

Current single “Living for Love” – written by Madonna along with Maureen “Mozella” McDonald, Alicia Keys, Toby Gad, Ariel Rechtshaid, Nick Rowe and Thomas “Diplo” Pentz – is now available for download via iTunes.

British singer/songwriter Rita Ora has worked with Jarrad “Jaz” Rogers on songs for her upcoming sophomore album.

The Australian hitmaker recently co-wrote and produced “Doing It” for Charli XCX along with Ariel Rechtshaid, Noonie Bao and Matthew Burns. The tracks appears on the artist’s second studio collection, “Sucker,” out now via iTunes.

He is also responsible for Ella Eyre’s “If I Go” [Virgin EMI Records], Rebecca Fergusson’s “I Hope” [Syco Music], Icona Pop’s “In the Stars” [Big Beat Records] and Neon Jungle’s “So Alive” [RCA Records].

Meanwhile, the “Grateful” star will release her next studio collection in early 2015 via Roc Nation and Columbia Records.

Rita Ora - I Will Never Let You Down

British singer/songwriter Rita Ora has registered a new song title with ASCAP – The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.

“Last Love” was written Chantal Kreviazuk along with Clarence Coffee Jr., Marcus Lomax, Stefan Johnson and Jordan Johnson of production and songwriting team The Monsters & the Strangerz.

The track is expected to appear on Rita Ora’s highly-anticipated second album, which will be released next year via Roc Nation and Columbia Records.

Kreviazuk’s resume includes works for Lea Michele (“Burn with You”), Shakira (“You Don’t Care About Me”), Jennifer Lopez (“Emotions”), Kelly Clarkson (“Walk Away”), Drake (“Over My Dead Body”) and Gwen Stefani (“Rich Girl”).

Meanwhile, The Monsters & the Strangerz are responsible for helming Bebe Kylie Minogue’s “Sexercize” [Parlophone], Maroon 5’s “It Was Always You” [Interscope] and Bebe Rexha’s “I Can’t Stop Drinking About You” [WBR].
