Dua Lipa premieres music video for new single “IDGAF”

Dua Lipa has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The Henry Scholfield-directed clip for “IDGAF” was posted to the British singer/songwriter’s YouTube channel on Friday (January 12, 2018).

Collectively produced by Stephen “Koz” Kozemeniuk and Larzz Principato; “IDGAF” was co-written by Dua Lipa alongside Skyler Stonestreet, Whiskey Waters, and Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike.

Dua Lipa’s self-titled debut album – featuring previous promotional singles “Be the One,” “Last Dance,” “Hotter than Hell,” “Blow Your Mind (Mwah),” “Lost in Your Light,” “New Rules,” “Room for 2” and “Thinking ‘Bout You” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

For her upcoming sophomore studio collection under Warner Brothers Records; Dua Lipa has reportedly teamed up with Sarah Hudson, Andrew Wyatt, Caroline Ailin, King Henry, Sasha Sloan, Grades, Ilsey Juber, Diplo, Lindy Robbins, Flume, Sarah Aarons, Gallant, Emily Warren, and Clarence Coffee Jr.

Dua Lipa has reunited with Ilsey Juber for a new collaboration.

Juber previously co-wrote “No Goodbyes” for Dua Lipa alongside Lindy Robbins and Daniel “Grades” Traynor. The track appears on Dua Lipa’s self-titled debut album, which peaked to number five on the UK Albums Chart.

Additionally, Juber’s recent songwriting credits include Camila Cabello (“She Loves Control”), Alisan Porter (“Revolution”), Majid Jordan (“What You Do to Me”), Paloma Faith (“WW3”), Kelly Clarkson (“Meaning of Life”), DJ Snake (“A Different Way”), Noah Cyrus (“Almost Famous”), Tinashe (“Flame”), Demi Lovato (“Only Forever”), Hey Violet (“When Will I Learn”) and Drake (“Glow”).

Meanwhile, Dua Lipa is expected to release her upcoming sophomore album later this year via Warner Music Group / Warner Brothers Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts further alliances with Stephen Kozmeniuk, Lindy Robbins, Grades, Sarah Hudson, Caroline Ailin, Flume, Andrew Wyatt, Sasha Sloan, MNEK, Emily Warren, King Henry, Gallant, Sarah Aarons, Diplo, and Clarence Coffee Jr.

British singer/songwriter Dua Lipa has reunited with fellow recording artist MNEK for a new collaboration.

Born Uzoechi Emenike, MNEK previously co-wrote “IDGAF” for Dua Lipa alongside Skyler Stonestreet, Whiskey Waters, and Larzz Principato. The track appears on Dua Lipa’s self-titled debut studio collection, which peaked to number five on the UK Albums Chart.

Fans of MNEK’s songwriting/production works should also keep an eye on the next projects by Christina Aguilera, Tinashe, Ella Henderson, Kamille, Leah McFall, Rozes, Mabel McVey, KStewart, Akon, Bebe Rexha, Melissa Steel, Chromeo, Lennon Stella, Mullally, Zara Larsson, Kara Marni, Mo Adeniran, Ray BLK, Tamera Foster, Cassie, Antigoni Buxton, and Molly Rainford.

Maroon 5 release new studio collection “Red Pill Blues”

American pop rock band Maroon 5 – composed of members Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, James Valentine, Matt Flynn, PJ Morton, and Sam Farrar – have released their sixth studio collection online.

“Red Pill Blues” – featuring singles “Don’t Wanna Know,” “Cold,” “What Lovers Do” and “Help Me Out” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2014’s “V” was executive-produced by Jacob “JKash” Kasher, whose recent songwriting credits include Charlie Puth’s “How Long,” Bebe Rexha’s “I Got You,” Jason Derulo’s “Swalla,” Zara Larsson’s “So Good,” Kristian Galva’s “Wrong 4 This,” and PRETTYMUCH’s “Would You Mind.”

Other producers backing Maroon 5 on “Red Pill Blues” are Julian Bunetta (Niall Horan), Cirkut (Ava Max), Noah Passovoy (Katy Perry), Diplo (Madonna), John Ryan (Colbie Caillat), TMS (Emeli Sande), Ben Billions (Alina Baraz), Jason Evigan (Kehlani), Ricky Reed (Alessia Cara) and Benny Blanco (Halsey).

Stargate draft Sia, Pink for new single “Waterfall”

Stargate have announced the details for their new single.

The Norwegian production and songwriting duo – consisting of Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen – christened “Waterfall” as their new promotional cut and will release it on March 10 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on the Sia and Pink-featuring track were handled collectively by Stargate alongside Thomas “Diplo” Pentz (Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran) and Philip “Junior Blender” Meckseper (Nicki Minaj, PARTYNEXTDOOR).

Stargate previously worked with Sia on tracks for other artists including Rihanna (“Diamonds”), Alexis Jordan (“Acid Rain”), Lea Michele (“Cannonball”), Nikki Williams (“Kill, Fuck, Marry”) and Jessie J (“Breathe”).

Their upcoming debut album – featuring further guest appearances from Beyonce, Rihanna, and Coldplay – is expected to arrive later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Fans of Stargate’s production and songwriting works should also look out for the next releases by Zara Larsson, Rita Ora, Kiesza, Tinashe, Diztortion, Sofia Carson, MØ, Selena Gomez, and Nico & Vinz.

The Weeknd has released his third studio collection online.

“Starboy” – featuring singles “False Alarm,” “Party Monster” and “I Feel it Coming” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2014’s “Beauty Behind the Madness” reunites The Weeknd – real name Abel Tesfaye – with Doc McKinney, Cirkut, Ben Billions, Belly, DaHeala, Lana Del Rey, Savan Kotecha, Ali Payami, Peter Svensson, Max Martin, Labrinth, Cashmere Cat, Benny Blanco, and Diplo.

The Band Perry announces new single “Comeback Kid”

The Band Perry have announced the details for their new single.

The American country group – consisting of siblings Kimberly Perry, Reid Perry, and Neil Perry – dubbed “Comeback Kid” as the next promotional cut from their upcoming third album and will release it on August 1 via iTunes.

Production duties on “Comeback Kid” were handled by Benny Cassette, who previously worked with The Band Perry on hit single “Live Forever.”

The record producer-singer-songwriter – born Benedetto Rotondi – also helmed songs for other artists including Miguel (“NWA”), Wynter Gordon (“Bleeding Out”), Mary Lambert (“Secrets”), and Stacy Barthe (“Live for Today”).

Meanwhile, The Band Perry are expected to release their forthcoming studio collection, tentatively entitled “Heart + Beat,” later this year through UMG Nashville / Interscope Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts additional alliances with Will IDAP (Tish Hyman), Jenna Andrews (Lily Allen), Stargate (Beyonce), Bonnie McKee (Olly Murs), Diplo (Justin Bieber), and RedOne (Lady Gaga).

The group’s last studio collection, 2013’s “Pioneer,” peaked to number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Better Dig Two,” “Done,” “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely” and “Chainsaw.”
