Little Mix premieres music video for new single “Hair”

Little Mix have premiered the music video for their new single online.

The British female quartet posted the visual clip for “Hair” – featuring Sean Paul – to their Vevo channel on Wednesday (April 20, 2016).

“Hair” was co-written by Anita “CocknBullKid” Blay of along with Camille Purcell (Sigma, Olly Murs), Iain James (Becky Hill, Craig David), Edvard Erfjord (Fleur East, Ben Haenow) and Henrik Michelsen (Imani, Ella Henderson).

Video treatment was handled by Director X, who is also behind Rihanna’s “Work” [Roc Nation], Drake’s “Hotline Bling” [Cash Money], Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” [Def Jam] and Ciara’s “Body Party” [Epic].

Little Mix’s latest album “Get Weird” – featuring previous singles “Black Magic,” “Love Me Like You” and “Secret Love Song” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Syco Music and Columbia Records.

Fifth Harmony premieres “Work from Home” music video

Fifth Harmony have premiered the music video for their new single online.

The visual clip for “Work from Home” – featuring Ty Dolla $ign – was posted the American pop quintet’s Vevo channel on Friday (February 26, 2016).

Jude Demorest penned “Work from Home” along with Brian Lee (Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez), Dallas K (Tiesto, Pixie Lott), Eskeerdo (Afrojack, Carly Rae Jepsen) and Ammo (Jessie J, Maroon 5).

Video treatment was handled by Director X, whose recent credits include Rihanna’s “Work” [Roc Nation], Drake’s “Hotline Bling” [OVO Sound], Little Mix’s “Black Magic” [Syco] and Iggy Azalea’s “Trouble” [Def Jam].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Fifth Harmony’s upcoming sophomore album “7/27” will be released on May 20 via Syco Music and Epic Records.

The keenly-awaited project follows 2015’s “Reflection,” which debuted at number five on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned three singles in the shape of “Bo$$,” “Sledgehammer” and “Worth It.”

Rihanna reunites with Drake for “Work” music video

Rihanna has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Work” – featuring Drake – to her Vevo channel on Monday (February 22, 2016).

“Work” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Rihanna and Drake along with Allen Ritter, Jahron “PartyNextDoor” Braithwaite, Rupert “Sevn” Thomas and Matthew “Boi-1da” Samuels.

Video treatment was collectively handled by Director X (Little Mix, Kendrick Lamar) and Tim Erem (Major Lazer, Tove Lo).

Rihanna’s latest studio collection “Anti” debuted at number seven on the UK Albums Chart and topped the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

The follow-up to 2012’s “Unapologetic” features further alliances with Fred Ball (Jessie Ware), Dido (Britney Spears), Mick Schultz (Zendaya), Jean Baptiste Kouame (Rudimental) and Brian Kennedy (Jennifer Hudson).

Iggy Azalea, Rita Ora premiere “Black Widow” music video

Iggy Azalea has premiered the music video for her new single online.

“Black Widow” – featuring Rita Ora – is lifted from the Australian rapper’s debut album, “The New Classic,” out now via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

The track was written by Iggy Azalea, Katy Perry, Sarah Hudson and Benjamin “Benny Blanco” Levin along with Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen of Norwegian production duo Stargate.

Video treatment was handled by Azalea and Director X, who is also responsible for Ciara’s “Body Party” [Epic Records], Jennifer Hudson’s “Walk it Out” [RCA Records] and T.I’s “No Mediocre” [Columbia Records].

“Black Widow” serves as the follow-up to the Charli XCX-assisted single “Fancy,” which peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.
