Jean Baptiste Kouame has hinted at a new collaboration with Fergie.
“Chillen with @Fergie. Wait for it,” Koaume posted to his Twitter account on Thursday (May 20, 2015).
The record producer and songwriter is responsible for will.i.am’s “Scream and Shout” f/ Britney Spears [Interscope Records], Miley Cyrus’ “Do My Thang” [RCA Records] and Rihanna’s “Photographs” [Def Jam Recordings].
He also contributed to the next projects by Chris Brown [RCA Records], Sevyn Streeter [Atlantic Records], Jason Derulo [Beluga Heights / Warner Bros Records] and Becky Hill [Parlophone Records].
Meanwhile, Fergie is expected to release her sophomore album later this year under Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.
The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2006’s “The Dutchess,” which peaked to number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “London Bridge” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry.”
Other musicians backing Fergie on the keenly-awaited CD are DJ Mustard (Omarion, Keyshia Cole), Rock City (Ciara, Nicki Minaj). Mike WiLL Made It (Brandy, Mariah Carey) and RoccStar (Usher, John Legend).
