Jean Baptiste Kouame hints at new collaboration with Fergie

Jean Baptiste Kouame has hinted at a new collaboration with Fergie.

“Chillen with @Fergie. Wait for it,” Koaume posted to his Twitter account on Thursday (May 20, 2015).

The record producer and songwriter is responsible for will.i.am’s “Scream and Shout” f/ Britney Spears [Interscope Records], Miley Cyrus’ “Do My Thang” [RCA Records] and Rihanna’s “Photographs” [Def Jam Recordings].

He also contributed to the next projects by Chris Brown [RCA Records], Sevyn Streeter [Atlantic Records], Jason Derulo [Beluga Heights / Warner Bros Records] and Becky Hill [Parlophone Records].

Meanwhile, Fergie is expected to release her sophomore album later this year under Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2006’s “The Dutchess,” which peaked to number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “London Bridge” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry.”

Other musicians backing Fergie on the keenly-awaited CD are DJ Mustard (Omarion, Keyshia Cole), Rock City (Ciara, Nicki Minaj). Mike WiLL Made It (Brandy, Mariah Carey) and RoccStar (Usher, John Legend).

Mila J hits the studio with Deputy for upcoming album

Singer and songwriter Mila J has added Deputy to the list of contributors for her upcoming album.

“I love what I do. Deputy x @MilaJ #StudioSessions #RazzleLife,” the record producer posted to his Instagram account on Wednesday (May 20, 2015).

Deputy is known for helming “Bitch Better Have My Money” for Rihanna along with Travis Scott, WondaGurl and Kanye West.  The track is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Roc Nation Records.

His resume includes further works for Zendaya [Hollywood Records], Ne-Yo [Motown Records], J. Cole [Columbia Records], Rick Ross [Maybach Music Group], Wale [Atlantic Records] and The-Dream [Capitol Records].

Meanwhile, Mila J is scheduled to release her next studio collection later this year under Universal Music Group / Motown Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2014’s EP “M.I. LA,” which spawned hit singles “Smoke, Drink, Break-Up” and “My Main.”

In addition to Deputy, Mila J has also collaborated with Da Internz (Ciara, Nicki Minaj), Sam Hook (Trey Songz, Miley Cyrus), Christopher “Tricky” Stewart (Beyonce, Kelly Rowland) and DJ Mustard (Omarion, Rita Ora).

Rita Ora collaborates with Ed Sheeran for new album

Rita Ora has collaborated with Ed Sheeran for her upcoming second album.

During a recent interview with Noisey, the British songbird stated “I did this incredibly beautiful song with Ed about our friendship; he’s one of my best friends. It’s amazing having a friend in this industry of the opposite sex that you haven’t hooked up with. He’s such a legend. I respect him in so many ways.”

Sheeran previously co-wrote songs for other artists including Jessie Ware (“Say You Love Me”), Hilary Duff (“Tattoo”), Rixton (“Hotel Ceiling”) and Tori Kelly (“I Was Made for Loving You”).

His latest album “x” – featuring hit singles “Sing,” “Don’t,” “Thinking Out Loud,” “Photograph” and “Bloodstream” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Meanwhile, Ora’s sophomore studio collection will hit stores and digital outlets later this year under Roc Nation and Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project is preceded by new single “Poison,” which was written by Kate Nash along with Julia Michaels (Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato) and Nolan “Sir Nolan” Lambroza (Justin Bieber, Nick Jonas).

Other musicians backing Ora on the highly-anticipated new album are Dr. Luke (Ne-Yo, Katy Perry), Diplo (Usher, Britney Spears), Devonte Hynes (Tinashe, Carly Rae Jepsen) and DJ Mustard (Omarion, Charli XCX).

Kieran Alleyne has debuted his new single online.

The British singer and songwriter posted the audio clip for “Be Around” to his official YouTube channel on Friday (May 15, 2015).

“Be Around” was co-written Thomas Goodwin along with Makeba Riddick, whose other credits include Lion Babe’s “Jump Hi” [Interscope], Tamar Braxton’s “Love and War” [Streamline] and Jennifer Lopez’s “All I Have” [Epic].

Production duties on “Be Around” were handled by DJ Mustard, whose also responsible for hit singles including Tinashe’s “2 On” [RCA], Keyshia Cole’s “She” [Interscope]  and Trey Songz’s “Na Na” [Atlantic].

Kieran Alleyne’s upcoming debut album is expected to be released later this year under Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly features further collaborations with Eric Bellinger (Chris Brown, Teyana Taylor), Stacy Barthe (Britney Spears, Katy Perry) and Rico Love (Melanie Fiona, Kelly Rowland).

Rita Ora has announced the title for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “Poison” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming sophomore album.

“Poison” serves as the follow-up to the Calvin Harris-produced “I Will Never Let You Down,” which debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Rita’s second studio collection will hit stores and digital outlets later this year under Roc Nation and Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly features productions from Dr. Luke (Usher, Britney Spears), Diplo (Madonna, Chris Brown), DJ Mustard (Rihanna, Keyshia Cole) and Dev Hynes (Tinashe, Sky Ferreira).

The singer/songwriter christened “Do It Again” – featuring Chris Brown & Tyga – as the second promotional cut from her upcoming debut album under Wolfpack Entertainment and Interscope Records.

Production duties on “Do It Again” were handled by Nic Nac, who previously teamed up with Mia on hit single “Fuck with You” f/ G-Eazy.

Other producers backing Mia on her debut LP are Harmony Samuels (Ciara, Fifth Harmony), DJ Mustard (Omarion, Keyshia Cole), Benny Blanco (Miguel, Charli XCX) and Naughty Boy (Rihanna, Emeli Sande).

Jason Derulo has debuted a new song online.

The singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Cheyenne” to his official YouTube channel on Tuesday (April 28, 2015).

“Cheyenne” is lifted from the artist’s fourth studio album, “Everything is 4,” out on June 2 under Beluga Heights / Warner Bros Records.

The highly-anticipated collection serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “Talk Dirty,” which peaked to number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “Wiggle,” “Marry Me” and “Stupid Love.”

Among the musicians backing Derulo on “Everything is 4” are Jason Evigan (Madonna, Kelly Clarkson), Sean Douglas (David Guetta, Jessie J), DJ Mustard (Rihanna, Charli XCX) and Guordan Banks (K. Michelle, John Legend).

Lead single “Want to Want Me” – which was produced by Ian Kirkpatrick and written by Derulo along with Lindy Robbins, Mitch Allan and Sam Martin – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

“Everything is 4” serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “Talk Dirty,” which peaked to number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned international hit singles “Wiggle,” “Trumpets,” “Marry Me” and “The Other Side.”

“Fuck With You” – now available for download via iTunes – was produced by Nicholas “Nic Nac” Balding, whose other credits include Chris Brown’s “Loyal” (featuring Lil Wayne and Tyga) and Tinashe’s “Watch Me Work.”
