Jorja Smith has enlisted Dre Skull for a new collaboration.

The American musician (born Andrew Hershey) recently produced and co-wrote “Bad Behaviour” for Polydor recording artist Mabel McVey. The track appears on Mabel’s debut studio album, “High Expectations,” which peaked to number three on the UK Albums Chart.

Dre Skull’s resume boasts additional works with Burna Boy (“Show & Tell”), Drake’s (“Too Much”), PartyNextDoor (“Not Nice”), Justine Skye (“Maybe”), Santigold (“Crashing Your Party”), Lily Allen (“What You Waiting For”), Wiz Kid (“Daddy Yo”), Tkay Maidza (“Follow Me”) and Popcaan (“Silence”).

Meanwhile, Smith is currently working on new music with Ronald “Flippa” Colson (Rihanna, Nicki Minaj), Jeff Gitty (Tori Kelly, Lianne La Havas), Marlon Roudette (Jada Kingdom, Zara Larsson) and P2J (Jaz Karis, Tanika Bailey).

Her recent single “Be Honest” – which was co-written by fellow recording artist Amira “Miraa May” Benameur and collectively produced by Oliver “Cadenza” Rodigan and Andron “IzyBeats” Cross – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Justine Skye releases new “Bare With Me” EP

Justine Skye has released her new EP online.

“Bare With Me” – featuring six new songs including “Too Much,” “Secrets,” “Bulletproof,” “Fav” and “When You’re Ready” – is now available via Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Lead single “Maybe” was produced by Andrew “Dre Skull” Hershey (Santigold, Mabel McVey) and written by Skye alongside Josh Werner and Fai Khadra.

Other EP contributors include fellow recording artists Dyo and Jaz Karis as well as producers/songwriters P2J (Mario, Sinead Harnett), Ari PenSmith (Snoh Aalegra, Chris Brown), James Fauntleroy (Rihanna, Justin Timberlake), Hit-Boy (Bebe Rexha, Craig David) and The Rascals (Kehlani, Arin Ray).

English singer/songwriter Mabel McVey, known mononymously as Mabel, has released her debut studio collection online.

“High Expectations” – featuring singles “Don’t Call Me Up,” “Mad Love” and “Bad Behaviour” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The highly-anticipated project boasts songwriting contributions from Marlon Roudette (Sinead Harnett), Kamille (Anne-Marie), Joel Compass (Tinashe), Sarah Aarons  (Justin Timberlake), Maria Hazell (Alma), Jimmy Napes (Alicia Keys) and Kelly Kiara (Era Istrefi).

Album producers include Tre Jean-Marie  (Craig David), Josh Crocker (Kali Uchis), Dre Skull (Santigold), Al Shux (Elle Varner), JD. Reid (Katy B), Steve Mac (Ed Sheeran), Oak Felder (Usher), Fraser T. Smith (Sam Smith), Jordan Riley (Dan Caplen) and MakeYouKnowLove (Nicole Scherzinger).

Justine Skye liberates new promotional single “Maybe”

Justine Skye has liberated her new promotional single online.

“Maybe” – which was written by Skye alongside Josh Werner and Fai Khadra – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Maybe” were handled by Dre Skull (real name Andrew Hershey), who is also responsible for Mabel’s “Bad Behaviour,” Lily Allen’s “What You Waiting For,” Santigold’s “Crashing Your Party,” Wiz Kid’s “Daddy Yo,” Tkay Maidza’s “Follow Me,” and Popcaan’s “Silence.”

Skye’s debut studio collection, 2018’s “Ultraviolet,” was released through Roc Nation Records. The album featured the singles “U Don’t Know” (featuring Wizkid), “Back For More” (featuring Jeremih) and “Don’t Think About It” (produced by TMS and co-written by Raye and Sam Romans).

She also provided guest vocals on the tracks “Good for You” and “Take It Back,” taken from Blood Orange’s latest album, “Angel’s Pulse,” which is out now via Domino Recording Company.

“Bad Behaviour” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by fellow recording artist Marlon Roudette, whose other credits include Sinead Harnett’s “Unconditional,” Louisa Johnson’s “Road to Rome,” Siobhan Donaghy’s “Twist of Fate,” Nadia Rose’s “Airplane Mode,” Wiley’s “My One,” and Jax Jones’ “Ring Ring.”

Meanwhile, production duties on “Bad Behaviour” were handled by Dre Skull, who is also responsible for Drake’s “Too Much,” PartyNextDoor’s “Not Nice,” Lily Allen’s “What You Waiting For,” Santigold’s “Crashing Your Party,” Wiz Kid’s “Daddy Yo,” Tkay Maidza’s “Follow Me,” and Popcaan’s “Silence.”

The visual clip for for “Mad Love” was posted to the Spanish-English singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Friday (June 07, 2019).

Mabel wrote “Mad Love” alongside Camille “Kamille” Purcell and Steven “Steve Mac” McCutcheon, who previously teamed up with the artist on hit single “Don’t Call Me Up,” which peaked to number three on the UK Singles Chart.

Mabel has confirmed the details for her new single.

The Spanish-English singer/songwriter (born Mabel Alabama Pearl McVey) christened “Mad Love” as her next promotional cut and will release it on June 7 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Mabel wrote “Mad Love” alongside Camille “Kamille” Purcell and Steven “Steve Mac” McCutcheon, who previously teamed up with the artist on hit single “Don’t Call Me Up,” which peaked to number three on the UK Singles Chart.

Lily Allen has released her fourth studio collection online.

“No Shame” – featuring singles “Trigger Bang” and “Higher” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2014’s “Sheezus” delivers songwriting contributions from Tim Rice-Oxley, Jenna Andrews, Sam Duckworth, Eliza Caird, Tim Deal, Liana Banks, and Ari PenSmith.

On the production front, Allen has teamed up with Mark Ronson, BloodPop, Ezra Koening, Starsmith, Cass Lowe, Fryars, Emre Ramazanoglu, P2J, Seb Chew, Dre Skull, Jack Nichols-Marcy, and Show N Prove.

Lily Allen has shared the music video for her new promotional single online.

The visual clip for “Trigger Bang” – featuring Giggs – was posted the British singer/songwriter’s YouTube channel on Wednesday (January 24, 2018).

Production duties on “Trigger Bang” were handled by fellow recording artist Fryars, whose resume boasts additional works with Rae Morris (“Atletico”), Mika (“Celebrate”), Cosima (“Girls Who Get Ready”) and Kungs (“Trust”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Allen’s upcoming fourth studio collection, tentatively entitled “The Fourth Wall,” is expected to arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Polydor Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further alliances with Mark Ronson, Jenna Andrews, Benny Cassette, Chloe Angelides, Nylo, Sarah Hudson, Liana Banks, Dre Skull, Sam Duckworth, Ari PenSmith, and Tev’n.
