Jennifer Lopez records new material with Chris Brown

Pop starlet Jennifer Lopez has recently teamed up with Chris Brown for her upcoming as-yet-untitled eighth studio album, which serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Love” [Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings].

Brown has previously penned songs for other artists including “Slower” by Brandy [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], “Disturbia” by Rihanna [Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings] and “See No More” by Joe Jonas [Disney Music Group / Hollywood Records].

He is also putting the final touches on his upcoming sixth album, tentatively entitled “Carpe Diem” [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

In addition to lead single “Fine China,” the follow-up to 2012’s “Fortune” will boast collaborations with Da Internz: Marcos Palacios & Ernest Clark (John Legend, Tamar Braxton), Amber “Sevyn” Streeter (Estelle, Jordin Sparks), Eric Bellinger (Usher, Justin Bieber) and Jean Baptiste Kouame (Madonna, Wynter Gordon).

Meanwhile, the new collection by Lopez is confirmed to sport additional productions and songwriting alliances with Dreamlab: Leah Haywood & Daniel Pringle (Nikki Williams, Demi Lovato), Nayvadius “Future” Wilburn (Ciara, Kelly Rowland), Sandy “Vee” Wilhelm (Katy Perry, Britney Spears) and Nadir “RedOne” Khayat (Pixie Lott, Kylie Minogue).

Jessica Sanchez has revealed the official artwork for her new single online.

“Tonight” marks the first promotional single from the artist’s upcoming debut album, “Me, You & the Radio,” which is due in the United States on May 14 via Universal Music Group / 19 Entertainment / Interscope Records.

In addition to the Ne-Yo assisted lead single, other tracks slotted for inclusion on the project are “Crazy Glue,” “You’ve Got the Love,” “Don’t Come Around,” “Right to Fall,” “Your Hands,” “No One Compares” and “Plastic Roses.”

Meanwhile, Dreamlab: Leah Haywood & Daniel Pringle (Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez), Tobias “Toby” Gad (Meleni Smith, Priscilla Renea Hamilton), Harvey Mason Jr. (Tamar Braxton, Whitney Houston) and Ryan “Rykeyz” Williamson (Fantasia Barrino, Keyshia Cole) are among the album’s contributors.

The Atlanta-based rapper – real name Nayvadius Wilburn – is known for co-writing and producing tracks such as “Love Song” by Rihanna [Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings] and “Wake Up, No Makeup” by Ciara [Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records].

American entertainer Jennifer Lopez has drafted Sandy Vee for her upcoming album eighth studio album, which is scheduled for release later this year via Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings.

The French hitmaker – real name Sandy Wilhelm – is responsible for co-writing and producing hit singles “Boomerang” by Nicole Scherzinger [Universal Music Group / Interscope Records], “Collide” by Leona Lewis [Simco Limited / Sony Music Entertainment] and “Commander” by Kelly Rowland featuring David Guetta [Universal Music Group / Republic Records].

Singer/songwriter Lauriana Mae has added Pharrell Williams of The Neptunes to the list of producers for her upcoming debut album, due later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Songwriting and production credits by Williams include “Twisted” by Usher [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], “Sweet Life” by Frank Ocean [Universal Music Group / Def Jam Records] and “Kickin’ In” by Adam Lambert [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

He also confirmed placements on the next albums by Beyonce Knowles [Sony Music Entertainment / Parkwood Entertainment / Columbia Records], Miley Cyrus [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records] and Leah LaBelle [Sony Music Entertainment / So So Def / i am OTHER / Epic Records].
