Mack Wilds liberates new project “AfterHours”

Singer, songwriter, and actor Mack Wilds has liberated his new project online.

“AfterHours” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Lead promotional “Explore” was co-written by Cameron Wallace, whose previous credits include Sevyn Streeter’s “Fallen,” Ciara’s “Keep on Looking,” Christina Milian’s “Video Model,” and Beyonce’s “Upgrade U.”

Other musicians backing Wilds on the follow-up to 2013’s “New York: A Love Story” are Deputy (“Senses”), Kevin Garrett (“Crash”), D’Mile (“Go Crazy”), The MeKanics (“Stingy”), Darnell Shawn (“Choose”), Key Wane (“Obsession”) and Darhyl “DJ” Camper (“Bonnie & Clyde”).

Mack Wilds has confirmed the details for his upcoming music project.

The American singer, songwriter, and actor – born Tristan Wilds – has christened his new collection “AfterHours” and will release it on April 7 via The Ninety Five Percent / EMPIRE.

Lead promotional single “Explore” – now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms – was co-written by Cameron Wallace, whose credits include Sevyn Streeter’s “Fallen,” Ciara’s “Keep on Looking,” and Beyonce’s “Upgrade U.”

Other musicians backing Wilds on “AfterHours” are Darhyl “DJ” Camper (Mary J. Blige, Tamar Braxton), Key Wane (Jhene Aiko, Ariana Grande), Deputy (RAYE, Bibi Bourelly), The MeKanics (K. Michelle, Chris Brown), D’Mile (Diana Gordon, Jorin Sparks) and Kevin Garrett (Justine Skye, Alessia Cara).

Wilds’ debut studio collection, 2013’s “New York: A Love Story,” peaked to number twenty-eight on the US Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and spawned contributions from Salaam Remi (“Henny”), Ne-Yo (“Own It”), James Fauntleroy (“You Can Cry to Me”), Bink (“My Crib”), James Poyser (“Sober Up”), Rico Love (“Magic”) and DJ Premier (“Keepin’ it Real”).

The actor-singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Love in the 90z” to his Vevo channel on Tuesday (January 12, 2016).

Production duties on ‘Love in the 90z” were collectively helmed by Salaam Remi (Ne-Yo, Leona Lewis), Teddy Riley (Amerie, Michael Jackson), James Poyser (Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu), and Scott Storch (Beyonce, Trey Songz).

The track – now available for download via iTunes – is also slotted for inclusion on Wilds’ upcoming sophomore album, which will hit stores later this year through Louder Than Life Records and Epic Records.

The actor, singer, and songwriter posted the audio clip for “Bonnie & Clyde” to his official SoundCloud channel on Saturday (September 05, 2015).

Production duties on “Bonnie & Clyde” were handled by Darhyl “DJ” Camper, who is also responsible for “Love & War” (Tamar Braxton), “Trust & Believe” (Keyshia Cole) and “Flawed Beautiful Creatures” (Stacy Barthe).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Wilds is currently working on his upcoming sophomore album under Louder Than Life Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly features from Salaam Remi (Jordin Sparks, Leona Lewis), Elle Varner (Miguel, Jessie J), Key Wane (Big Sean, Jazmine Sullivan) and Robert Shea Taylor (Beyonce, Janet Jackson).

Jordin Sparks has released her third album.

“Right Here, Right Now” – featuring singles “It Ain’t You,” “Double Tap” and “They Don’t Give” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment’s newly-launched imprint Louder Than Life Records.

The project was executively produced by Salaam Remi, whose other credits include Leona Lewis (“Forgiveness”), Ella Henderson (“Hard Work”), Jazmine Sullivan (“Dumb”) and Mack Wilds (“Own It”).

Other album producers include Dem Jointz (Rihanna, Dr. Dre), Key Wane (Beyonce, Jhene Aiko), DJ Mustard (Tinashe, Keyshia Cole), Jonas Jeberg (Cassie, Jason Derulo), Crada (Drake, Marlon Roudette), D’Mile (Ciara, Mali Music) and The Underdogs (Tamar Braxton, Jennifer Hudson).

On the songwriting front, Sparks has teamed with Babyface (Tamia, Katharine McPhee), Meleni Smith (Selena Gomez, Alicia Keys), James Fauntleroy (Usher, Chris Brown), Victoria Monet (Nas, Fifth Harmony), Nikki Flores (Jojo, Christina Aguilera) and Marlon “Hookman” Bonds (Zendaya, Jason Derulo).

“Boyz in the Hood” was co-written by Marlon “Hookman” Bonds and produced by Jonas Jeberg, who are also responsible for Zendaya’s “Putcha Body Down” [Hollywood] and Jason Derulo’s “Marry Me” [Warner Bros].
