Craig David confirms details for new album “The Time is Now”

Craig David has confirmed the details for his upcoming album.

The British singer/songwriter christened his seventh studio collection “The Time is Now” and will release it on January 26, 2018 via Sony Music Entertainment UK in partnership with Speakerbox/Insanity Records.

Lead promotional single “Heartline” – which was co-written with Sam Romans and Jonas Blue – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Following My Intuition” boasts further songwriting contributions from Carmen Reece (Ariana Grande), Ed Drewett (Olly Murs), Rachel Furner (Sam Smith) and Talay Riley (Keri Hilson).

On the production front, David has worked with Tre Jean-Marie (Marlon Roudette), Diztortion (Kelly Clarkson), Steve Mac (Ed Sheeran), MNEK (Zara Larsson), Fraser T. Smith (Stormzy) and Kaytranada (Sinead Harnett).

Chelcee Grimes drafts RedOne for debut album

British singer/songwriter Chelcee Grimes has drafted Moroccan-Swedish record producer Nadir Khayat (professionally known as RedOne) for her upcoming debut album under Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Label Group UK.

RedOne’s credits include Lady GaGa’s “Alejandro,” Jennifer Lopez’s “On the Floor,” Enrique Iglesias’ “I Like It,” Nicki Minaj’s “Starships,” Nicole Scherzinger’s “Poison,” Kelly Rowland’s “Down 4 Whatever,” Stanaj’s “The Way I Love Her,” Roya’s “Lie,” and Skyler Stecker’s “Bring Me to Life.”

His extensive resume boasts additional works with fellow songwriters Cathy Dennis, Evan “Kidd” Bogart, Simon Wilcox, Justin Tranter, Andrea Martin, Sean Douglas, Frankie Storm, Wayne Hector, Makeba Riddick, Talay Riley, Ester Dean, Bilal Hajji, Angela Hunte, Prince Charlez, and Sia Furler.

Grimes’ first studio collection, on the other hand, reportedly yields further productions and songwriting contributions from Steve Robson, Claude Kelly, Wayne Wilkins, Kara DioGuardi, Cutfather, Shelly Peiken, Jamie Hartman, Stuart Crichton, Richard “Biff” Stannard, and Ed Drewett.

Jessie Ware confirms new promotional single “Midnight”

Jessie Ware has confirmed the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter (born Jessica Louis Ware) has christened “Midnight” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming third album under PMR Records and Island Records UK.

The track was co-written by fellow recording artists Kiah Victoria and Jordan Thomas alongside Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Kandace Springs, Marsha Ambrosius) and Bastian Langebaek (Amber Simone, Jack Garratt).

Other songwriters expected to appear on the follow-up to 2014’s “Tough Love” are Ross Golan, Julia Michaels, Ammar Malik, Maureen “MoZella” McDonald, Jamie Scott, Amy Wadge, Max McElligott, Shungudzo Kuyimba, Tobias Jesso Jr., NAO, Sam Romans, Rachel “Maiday” Moulden, James Newman, Kamille, Danny Parker, Nina Nesbitt, Sam Preston, and Ed Drewett.

On the production front, Ware has reportedly worked with Benny Blanco, Two Inch Punch, Cashmere Cat, Happy Perez, Sacha Skarbek, GRADES, Ryan Tedder, Stephan Moccio, JRY, Fred Ball, Sam Dixon, Emile Haynie, Justin Parker, Fraser T. Nina Nesbitt liberates new single “The Moments I’m Missing”

Scottish singer/songwriter Nina Nesbitt has liberated her new single online.

“The Moments I’m Missing” – featuring guest vocals from LA R&B singer Goody Grace – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Fully written and produced by Nesbitt, the track delivers additional production duties from Jordan Riley, whose recent credits include Tom Grennan’s “Found What I’ve Been Looking For” [Sony Music / Insanity Records] and Dan Caplen’s “Flat Champagne” f/ Ray BLK [Warner Music / Atlantic Records UK].

Nesbitt’s upcoming studio collection, which follows 2014’s “Peroxide,” is expected to arrive later this year via Cooking Vinyl Records.

Featuring tracks entitled “The Best You Had” and “Something Special,” the still-untitled collection reportedly delivers further productions from LOSTBOY (Marlon Roudette), Adriano Buffone (Janelle Monae), Chris Leonard (Shawn Mendes), Dan Muckala (LeAnn Rimes) and Red Triangle (James Arthur).

The British singer/songwriter is known for co-penning Jax Jones’ “You Don’t Know Me,” Little Mix’s “Grown,” Jess Glynne’s “Hold My Hand,” Clean Bandit’s “Real Love,” Bakermat’s “Don’t Want You Back,” Alex Newell’s “Keep it Moving,” Sub Focus’ “Love Divine,” Tinie Tempah’s “Mamacita,” Foxes’ “Scar,” Fleur East’s “Like That,” Aston Merrygold’s “Trudy,” and Krishane’s “Drunk & Incapable.”

Liza Owen teams with Cedric Gervais on new single “Somebody New”

British singer/songwriter Liza Owen has teamed up with French DJ and house music producer Cedric Gervais for his new single “Somebody New,” now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Owen alongside Asia Whiteacre, whose other credits include Hey Violet’s “O.D.D.,” Astrid S’s “Breathe,” Hailee Steinfeld’s “Most Girls,” and Sophie & The Bom Boms’ “Creme De La Creme.”

The British singer/songwriter (born Camille Purcell) is responsible for co-writing Little Mix’s “Power,” Sigma’s “Find Me,” The Saturdays’ “What About Us,” Neiked’s “Call Me,” Leona Lewis’ “Mr. Right,” JLS’ “Billion Lights,” Ella Henderson’s “Glow,” Cheryl’s “Throwback,” Sam Bailey’s “Treasure,” Jessie J’s “Hero,” Olly Murs’ “Grow Up,” and Fleur East’s “Sax.”

Her upcoming debut studio collection – featuring alliances with Chris Loco, Dantae Johnson, Two Inch Punch, BullySongs, MNEK, and Goldfingers – is expected to arrive later this year via Virgin EMI Records.

Meanwhile, Ware is currently working on her third album under PMR Records and Island Records, which serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “Tough Love.”
