Ella Eyra taps Fransisca Hall, Jesse Shatkin for new single “Ego”

Ella Eyre has confirmed the title for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter – born Ella Mary McMahon – dubbed “Ego” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming sophomore album and will release it later this year via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was written by Eyre alongside Fransisca Hall and Jesse Shatkin, who are also behind Cheryl’s “Waiting for Lightning,” Kelly Clarkson’s “In the Blue,” Foxes’ “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now,” Jasmine Thompson’s “Crystal Heart,” Indiana’s “Play Dead,” and Lea Michele’s “Believer.”

Other songwriters expected to appear on the follow-up to 2015’s “Feline” are Harloe, Lauren Christy, Ilsey Juber, Emily Warren, Jin Jin , Becky Hill, Steph Jones, Dayo Olatunji, Sarah Aarons, Grace Barker, Caroline Ailin, Gina Kushka, Sean Douglas, Nate Campany, Philip Plested, Evan Bogart, and Sam Preston.

On the production front, Eyre has worked with Jason Evigan, Amish “ADP” Patel, Jonny Coffer, Toby Gad, Emanuel Kiriakou, Jarrad Rogers, Andrew Goldstein, Jonas Jeberg, Two Inch Punch, Joel Little, Paul O’Duffy, Jim Duguid, Kid Harpoon, Crada, and Mojam Music.

Ella Eyre teams with Sigala for new single “Came Here for Love”

British singer/songwriter Ella Eyre has reunited Sigala for new single “Came Here for Love,” now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The pair previously teamed up on “Good Times,” taken from Eyre’s 2015 album “Feline,” which peaked to number thirty-seven on the UK Singles Chart.

“Came Here for Love,” on the other hand, was written by Ella Eyre and Bryn Christopher alongside the track’s producers Bruce “Sigala” Fielder, Scott “White N3rd” Wild, and Cedrick “Klingande” Steinmyller.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Eyre’s upcoming sophomore album is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts productions from Jason Evigan, ADP, Jonny Coffer, Toby Gad, Jesse Shatkin, Emanuel Kiriakou, Jarrad Rogers, Andrew Goldstein, Jonas Jeberg, Two Inch Punch, Joel Little, Paul O’Duffy, Jim Duguid, Kid Harpoon, Crada, and Mojam Music.

Ella Eyre unveils new single “If I Go”

Ella Eyre has unveiled her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter – born Ella McMahon – posted “If You Go” to her official SoundCloud page on Wednesday (May 14, 2014).

The track – produced by Jarrad Rogers – marks the first promotional single from the artist’s debut album with Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

It serves as the follow-up to previous release “Deeper,” written by Ella Eyre along with Benjamin “Two Inch Punch” Ash (Sam Smith, Lulu James).

Other hitmakers confirmed for Ella’s debut LP are Steve Robson (James Blunt, Olly Murs), Wayne Hector (Pixie Lott, Kylie Minogue), Naughty Boy (Emeli Sande, Cheryl Cole) and Iain “Sparx” James (Little Mix, Nicola Roberts).

Ella Eyre reveals credits for debut mini-album ‘Deeper’

Ella Eyre has unveiled the songwriting credits for her debut EP.

The British singer/songwriter – born Ella McMahon – released “Deeper” in the United Kingdom on December 15 via EMI Music Group / Virgin Records.

Lead single “Deeper” was written was Eyre along with Benjamin Ash, more commonly known as Two Inch Punch, who is also known for collaborating with the likes of Sam Smith [Capitol Records] and Lulu James [RCA Records].

The project also include a cover of Gnarls Barkley’s hit single “Going On,” written by Peter Dunton along with Thomas Callaway and Brian Burton.

Her upcoming debut album is expected to yield contributions from Mich Hansen, Ole Broderson, Kasper Larsen, Richard Stannard, Wayne Hector, Fraser T. Smith, Iain James, Steve Robson, Martin Brammer, and Adam Argyle.

Among the tracks slotted for inclusion on the still-untitled LP – expected to be released in September, 2014 – are “Dare Me,” “Thinking It Over,” “Dreams,” “Hideaway,” “Easy Go” and “GTFO My Face.”
