Elle Varner returns with new single “Loving U Blind”

Elle Varner has released her new promotional single online.

“Loving U Blind” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Varner’s upcoming sophomore album, which serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Perfectly Imperfect,” is expected to arrive next year via eOne Music.

Before signing with eOne Music, Varner released three singles – “Birthday,” “Fuck it All” and “Don’t Wanna Dance” – from her unreleased second studio collection under RCA Records, “4 Letter Word.”

Other songs that were intended for that project were “Runaway” (performed by Tanika and co-written with Emeli Sande and Naughty Boy) and “Personal” (performed by Jessie J and co-written by Jenna Andrews and William Wiik Larsen).

Mack Wilds drafts Darhyl “DJ” Camper for new song “Bonnie & Clyde”

Mack Wilds has shared a new song online.

The actor, singer, and songwriter posted the audio clip for “Bonnie & Clyde” to his official SoundCloud channel on Saturday (September 05, 2015).

Production duties on “Bonnie & Clyde” were handled by Darhyl “DJ” Camper, who is also responsible for “Love & War” (Tamar Braxton), “Trust & Believe” (Keyshia Cole) and “Flawed Beautiful Creatures” (Stacy Barthe).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Wilds is currently working on his upcoming sophomore album under Louder Than Life Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly features from Salaam Remi (Jordin Sparks, Leona Lewis), Elle Varner (Miguel, Jessie J), Key Wane (Big Sean, Jazmine Sullivan) and Robert Shea Taylor (Beyonce, Janet Jackson).

Wilds’ debut studio collection, 2013’s “New York: A Love Story,” peaked to number 28 on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and delivered singles including “Own It,” “Henny,” “Don’t Turn Me Down” and “My Crib.”

Elle Varner hints at new collaboration with Salaam Remi

Elle Varner has hinted at a new collaboration with Salaam Remi.

“Making this album has been crazy… a night I’ll never forget, @SalaamRemi went into the basement and got Amy’s guitar for me to play,” she tweeted.

Remi recently served as executive producer for the latest releases by Jordin Sparks (“Right Here Right Now”), Jazmine Sullivan (“Reality Show”), Liam Bailey (“Definitely Now”) and Mack Wilds (“New York: A Love Story”).

His other credits include Ella Henderson’s “Hard Work” [Syco Music], Miguel’s “Face the Sun” f/ Lenny Kravitz [RCA Records], Melanie Fiona’s “Running” f/ Nas [Republic Records] and Kat Dahlia’s “Clocks” [Epic Records].

Meanwhile, Varner is expected to release her sophomore studio collection “Four Letter Word” later this year through RCA Records.

Current single “Birthday” – featuring 50 Cent – is now available for download via iTunes. The track was co-written by Taylor Parks (Prince Royce, Mariah Carey) and produced by Nineteen85 (Jessie Ware, Nicki Minaj).

Varner’s debut album, 2012’s “Perfectly Imperfect,” debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned international hit singles “Only Wanna Give It to You” (featuring J. Cole)” and “Refill.”

Elle Varner has debuted her new single online.

The singer and songwriter posted the audio clip for “Birthday” – featuring 50 Cent – to her SoundCloud channel on Thursday (June 04, 2015).

“Birthday” also marks the first promotional cut from Varner’s upcoming sophomore album, “4 Letter Word,” out soon under RCA Records.

The highly-anticipated project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Perfectly Imperfect,” which peaked to number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Only Wanna Give it to You” and “Refill.”

For the new album, Varner has reportedly teamed with Darhyl “DJ” Camper (Jeremih, Nicki Minaj), Benny Cassette (Miguel, Keri Hilson), Hit-Boy (Mariah Carey, Kelly Rowland) and Eric Hudson (K. Michelle, Trey Songz).

The singer and songwriter posted the audio clip for “The End of the Beginning” to her SoundCloud channel on Wednesday (May 13, 2015).

Production duties on “The End of the Beginning” were handled by Darhyl “DJ” Camper, who previously teamed with Varner on hit single “Refill.”

Other notable credits by Camper include Tamar Braxton’s “Love and War” [Epic Records], Keyshia Cole’s “Trust and Believe” [Interscope Records] and Nicki Minaj’s “Favorite” f/ Jeremih [Republic Records].

Meanwhile, Varner is expected to release her sophomore album “Four Letter Word” later this year under MBK Entertainment / RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2012’s “Perfectly Imperfect” will be executive-produced by Jeff Robinson, whose also overseeing the careers of Justine Skye [Atlantic], Tiara Thomas [Interscope], Gabi Wilson [RCA] and Daisha [Epic].

On the production front, “Four Letter Word” boasts contributions from Boi-1da (Drake, Kelly Rowland), Hit-Boy (Brandy Frank Ocean), Benny Cassette (Miguel, Sevyn Streeter) and Shama “Sak Pase” Joseph (Rihanna, Alesha Dixon).

Mack Wilds has teamed with Key Wane on new material.

The R&B and Hip Hop record producer – born Dwane Weir – is known for collaborating with artists including Beyonce [Columbia Records], Drake [Republic Records] and Big Sean [Def Jam Recordings].

Some of his notable production credits are Jazmine Sullivan’s “Mascara” [RCA Records], Ariana Grande’s “Best Mistake” [Republic Records] and Jhene Aiko’s “Eternal Sunshine” [Def Jam Recordings].

Meanwhile, Wilds is expected to release his sophomore album later this year via Sony Music Entertainment imprint Larger Than Life Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “New York: A Love Story,” which spawned hit singles “Own It,” “My Crib” and “Henny.”

Other musicians backing Wilds on the highly-anticipated LP are Salaam Remi (Jordin Sparks, Liam Bailey), Elle Varner (Emeli Sande, Jessie J) and Darhyl “DJ” Camper (Chris Brown, John Legend).

Mack Wilds has recorded new material with Elle Varner and Darhyl Camper.

It is yet to be known whether the session is intended for a future Varner release or Wilds’ upcoming sophomore album.

On the songwriting front, Varner is co-responsible for Jessie J’s “Personal” [Republic Records], Tanika’s “Run Away” [Tim & Danny Music / Virgin EMI Records] and Miguel’s “Use Me” [RCA Records].

Meanwhile, notable production and songwriting credits by Camper include Elle Varner’s “Refill” [RCA Records], Stacy Barthe’s “Flawed Beautiful Creatures” [Motown Records] and Tamar Braxton’s “Love and War” [Epic Records].

As mentioned in previous posts, Wilds is expected to release his second studio collection later this year via Larger Than Life Records.

The still-untitled project – executive produced by Salaam Remi – serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “New York: A Love Story,” which peaked to number twenty eight on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart.
