Alicia Keys guests on Eminem’s new album “Revival”

American singer-songwriter-record producer Alicia Keys has provided guest vocals on the track “Like Home,” taken from Eminem’s upcoming ninth album “Revival,” out on December 15 via Aftermath / Shady / Interscope Records.

“Like Home” was co-written by Skylar Grey alongside Andrew Jackson, whose other credits include Galantis’ “Written in the Stars,” Sean Paul’s “No Lie,” Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Bitter End,” Charlie Wilson’s “New Addiction,” Alex Newell’s “This Ain’t Over,” Frank Walker’s “Piano,” and Olly Murs’ “Love You More.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Keys is expected to release her seventh studio collection early next year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts contributions from Fred Ball (Toni Braxton), Arrow Benjamin (Beyonce), Stacy Barthe (Katy Perry), Emile Haynie (Delilah), Foy Vance (Ed Sheeran), Andrew Wyatt (Bruno Mars), Kaytranada (Cassie), DaHeala (The Weeknd) and Swizz Beatz (Mary J. Blige).

Bebe Rexha unwraps artwork for debut EP “I Don’t Wanna Grow Up”

Bebe Rexha has unwrapped the artwork for her upcoming debut EP.

The singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “I Don’t Wanna Grow Up” on May 12 via iTunes in partnership with Warner Bros Records.

Lead singles “I Can’t Stop Drinking About You” and “I’m Gonna Show You Crazy” are now available for download from all digital outlets.

Among the musicians backing Rexha on the EP are Jason Evigan (Madonna, Jason Derulo), Lauren Christy (Chris Brown, Jamie Foxx), Jon Levine (Selena Gomez, Nelly Furtado) and The Monsters & the Strangerz (Sia, Maroon 5).

On the songwriting front, Rexha has contributed to the forthcoming studio albums by Usher [RCA Records] and Becky Hill [Parlophone Records].

Her previous songwriting credits include David Guetta’s “Hey Mama” [Parlophone], Tinashe’s “2 On” [RCA], Nikki Williams’ “Glowing” [Def Jam] and Eminem’s “Monster” f/ Rihanna [Interscope].

Emile Haynie drafts Lana Del Rey for new song “Wait for Life”

Emile Haynie has debuted a new song online.

The record producer and songwriter posted the “Wait for Life” audio clip to his official Vevo page on Monday (January 19, 2015).

“Wait for Life” features Lana Del Rey, who previously teamed with Haynie on “Born to Die” singles “National Anthem” and “Summertime Sadness.”

The track is slotted for inclusion on Haynie’s debut album, “We Fall,” which will be released on February 24 via Interscope Records. Other CD contributors include Devonte Hynes, Lykke Li, Nate Ruess and Andrew Wyatt.

On the songwriting and production front, Haynie has worked with Pink [RCA Records], Bruno Mars [Atlantic Records], Emeli Sande [Virgin EMI Records], Jessie Ware [Island Records] and Natalia Kills [Interscope Records].

His recent credits include Eminem’s “Guts Over Fear” featuring Sia [Shady Records / Interscope Records], Bleachers’ “Who I Want You to Love” [RCA Records] and FKA Twigs’ “Two Weeks” [Young Turks Recordings].

Bebe Rexha has premiered the music video for her new single online.

“I Can’t Stop Drinking About You” marks the first promotional single from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming debut album on Warner Bros. Records.

The track – produced by The Monsters and the Strangerz – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Video treatment was handled by Mike Mihail, who is also responsible for Kendrick Lamar’s “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe” [Interscope Records] and Theophilus London’s “Rio” [Warner Bros. Records].

Meanwhile, Rexha’s resume includes works for Eminem (“The Monster”), Nikki Williams (“Glowing”) and Selena Gomez (“Like a Champion”).

Her as-yet-untitled debut LP is said to feature productions from Stargate, Chris Braide, Jason Evigan, Fraser T. Smith, and Billy Steinberg.

Eminem premieres new song ‘The Monster’ with Rihanna

Eminem has premiered a new song online.

“The Monster” – which features Rihanna – is lifted from the rapper’s eighth studio album, “The Marshall Mathers LP 2,” out on November 5 via Universal Music Group / Aftermath Entertainment / Shady / Interscope Records.

The track was written by Eminem along with Jon Bellion and Bebe Rexha, whose credits include “Like  Champion” by Selena Gomez [Hollywood Records] and “Glowing” by Nikki Williams [Island Def Jam Recordings].

Production duties were handled Bryan “Frequency” Fryzel, who is also responsible for “All We Have” by MGK featuring Anna Yvette [Interscope Records] and “Chandelier” by B.o.B featuring Lauriana Mae [Atlantic Records].

Eminem previously teamed up with Rihanna on the 2010 hit single “Love the Way You Lie,” taken from the rapper’s last studio album “Recovery.”

The pair reunited again in 2012 for the Oak & Pop-produced “Numb,” lifted from Rihanna’s seventh studio album “Unapologetic.”

The Bajan starlet is currently working on the her eighth collection with Sia Furler (Beyonce, Celine Dion), Anjulie Persaud (Cassie, Nicki Minaj), Kelly Sheehan (Rita Ora, Jason Derulo) and Nicky Romero (Ne-Yo, David Guetta).

The American singer/songwriter – real name Holly Brook Hafermann – has christened “C’Mon Let Me Ride” as the lead single from her upcoming sophomore album, “Don’t Look Down,” due in 2013 via Universal Music Group / KIDinaKORNER Records / Interscope Records.

The track – which features Eminem – was co-written and produced by Alexander “Alex Da Kid” Grant, whose credits include “Under the Sun” by Cheryl Cole [Universal Music Group / Polydor Records], “Out of My Head” by B.O.B. featuring Nicki Minaj [Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records] and “Cease Fire” by Christina Aguilera [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].
