Awa premieres music video for new single “Like I Do”

Awa has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The Swedish singer/songwriter (born Awa Santesson-Sey) posted the visual clip for “Like I Do” to her Vevo channel on Monday (02 December 2019).

Production duties on “Like I Do” were collectively handled by Aston Rudi (Tamera Foster, Ray BLK), Tre Jean-Marie (Sinead Harnett, Little Mix) and Sam Tsang (Ed Sheeran, Maisie Peters).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Awa is currently working on her upcoming debut project under Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records UK.

The still-untitled collection reportedly features additional contributions from Future Cut, Laura Welsh, Fred Cox, Negin Djafari, Luke Fitton, Joi Wynn, Kasper Larsen, Angela Beyince, Levi Lennox, Erika Nuri, Steve Booker, Autumn Rowe, Diztortion, Lauren Aquilina, and Eyelar Mirzazadeh.

Swedish singer/songwriter Awa Santesson-Sey, known mononymously as Awa, has delivered her new single online.

“Like I Do” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was produced by Aston Rudi (Ray BLK, Tamera Foster), Tre Jean-Marie (Sinead Harnett, Little Mix) and Sam Tsang (Ed Sheeran, Maisie Peters).

Swedish singer/songwriter Awa Santesson-Sey, known mononymously as Awa, has teamed up with Laura Welsh and Future Cut for a new collaboration.

Welsh’s debut studio collection “Soft Control” was released in 2015 via Outsiders Recorded Music Limited / Polydor Records. That collection features singles “Cold Front” and “Break the Fall,” as well as productions from Dev Hynes, Emile Haynie, Joel Compass, Robin Hannibal, and Greg Kurstin.

Meanwhile, Future Cut’s production resume boasts works with Lily Allen (“Smile”),  Stooshe (“Black Heart”), Olly Murs (“Please Don’t Let Me Go”), Little Mix (“How Ya Doin”), Shakira (“Gypsy”), Laura Izibor (“Shine”), Melanie Fiona (“Ayo”), Ella Eyre (“Together”) and Mae Muller (“Leave It Out”).

Meghan Trainor has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The singer-songwriter posted the Fatima Robinson and Barnaby Roper-directed clip for “NO” to her Vevo channel on Monday (March 21, 2016).

“NO” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Jacob Kasher Hindlin (Bebe Rexha, Selena Gomez) and Eric “Ricky Reed” Frederic (Jason Derulo, Icona Pop).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Trainor will release her sophomore studio collection “Thank You” on May 13 through Epic Records.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Title” boasts additional alliances with Babyface, THE ELEV3N, Ross Golan, Johan Carlsson, Erika Nuri, Shane Stevens, Taylor Parks, Nash Overstreet, LunchMoney Lewis, and The Rascals.

Meghan Trainor has revealed a new song title from her upcoming album.

“Woman Up” is slotted for inclusion on the singer-songwriter’s second major-label album, “Thank You,” out on May 13 via Epic Records.

Production duties on “Woman Up” were handled by James Morales, Matt Morales and Dave Rodriguez of THE ELEV3N, who previously teamed up with Trainor on “Bang Dem Sticks.”

The track was also co-written by Erika Nuri (Brandy, Pixie Lott), Taylor Parks (LeAnn Rimes, Britney Spears), Shane Stevens (Fifth Harmony, Little Mix) and Nash Overstreet (Rachel Platten, Bea Miller).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Trainor’s current single “NO” is now available for download via iTunes and all other online outlets.

Pixie Lott has enlisted Dallas K, Nate Campany, and Ammo for her new album.

“Making music with @dallask @ammopro @natecampany wooo,” the British singer/songwriter posted to her Twitter account.

DJ and record producer Dallas K – real name Dallas Koehlke – previously helmed songs fellow musicians Tiesto (“Show Me”) and KSHMR (“Burn”).

Meanwhile, singer/songwriter Nate Campany is known for writing songs with Carly Rae Jepsen (“When I Needed You”), Tove Lo (“This Time Around”), Christina Aguilera (“Shut Up”) and Adam Lambert (“Pop that Lock”).

Finally, notable songwriting/production credits by Ammo – born Joshua Coleman – include Beyonce’s “Pretty Hurts” [Columbia], Maroon 5’s “Sugar” [Interscope] and Jason Derulo’s “The Other Side” [Warner Bros].

Pixie Lott has collaborated with Erika Nuri and Shea Taylor for her new album.

“Loving the xylophone and the tunes in Santa Monica @ErikaNLuv @Shea__Taylor,” the British singer/songwriter tweeted.

Nuri is known for co-writing tracks performed by Little Mix (“Wings”), Fantasia Barrino (“When I See You”), Enrique Iglesias (“Dirty Dancer”), Brandy (“Right Here”), Jason Derulo (“Fallen”) and Kristinia DeBarge (“Sabotage”).

Meanwhile, notable songwriting / production credits by Taylor include Beyonce’s “Countdown” [Columbia], Rihanna’s “Question Existing” [Def Jam], Ne-Yo’s “Lazy Love” [Motown] and K. Michelle’s “Love ‘Em All” [Atlantic].

Conor Maynard has added Elof Loelv to the list of hitmakers for his upcoming sophomore album, out soon via Warner Music Group / Parlophone Records.

Recent songwriting and production credits by Loelv include “All Night” by Icona Pop [Warner Music Group / Big Beat Records] and “Stay” by Rihanna featuring Mikky Ekko [Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings].

He also collaborated with the likes of Niki and the Dove [Mercury Records], Erik Hassle [Island Records] and Pixie Lott [Mercury Records].

Other musicians backing Maynard on the follow-up to 2012’s “Contrast” are Talay Riley (Ellie Goulding, Christina Aguilera), Traci Hale (Britney Spears, Nicole Scherzinger) and Erika Nuri (Christina Milian, Fantasia Barrino).

Conor Maynard recruits Labrinth for sophomore album

Conor Maynard has recruited the songwriting and production services of Labrinth for his upcoming sophomore album, scheduled for release later this year via Warner Music Group / Parlophone Records.

The British hitmaker – real name Timothy McKenzie – is responsible for helming tracks such as “Love Drunk” by Loick Essien [RCA Records], “Pass Out” by Tinie Tempah [Parlophone Records], “Neva Soft” by Ms. Dynamite [Relentless Records] and “Lost in Paradise” by Rihanna [Island Def Jam Recordings].

He is also currently working on the follow-up to 2012’s “Electronic Earth.” That release debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart. It also delivered six hit singles in the shape of “Let the Sun Shine,” “Earthquake,” “Last Time,” “Express Yourself,” “Treatment” and “Beneath Your Beautiful (featuring Emeli Sande).”

Meanwhile, the new collection by Maynard will boast further songwriting contributions from Anne Preven (Beyonce, Adam Lambert), Traci Hale (Rihanna, Nicole Scherzinger and Erika Nuri (Brandy, Christina Milian).

Producers include Mich “Cutfather” Hansen (Pixie Lott, Jordin Sparks), Peter Wallevik (Kylie Minogue, One Direction) and The Messengers: Adam Messinger & Nasri Atweh (Justin Bieber, Victoria Justice).
