Ella Henderson teams up with Cara Salimando for a new collaboration

British songbird Ella Henderson has teamed up with fellow singer/songwriter Cara Salimando for a new collaboration.

Salimando’s songwriting resume boasts works for Grace Mitchell (“Kids Ain’t Alright”), Dua Lipa (“Begging Me”), Hey Violet (“I Can Feel It”), Collette Carr (“Believe in Us”), Hilary Duff (“Slip Away”), Qulinez (“Rising like the Sun”), Kennedy Noel (“Burn Bright”), Novelette (“Devil”), Frankmusik (“How Do We Know”) and Quincy Mumford (“Now That I Met You”).

She has also collaborated with producers including Captain Cuts, Stephan Moccio, Matt Squire, James Flanningan, Teddy Geiger, Dan Wilson, Jimmy Harry, Alex Smith, Rob Fusari, Bram Inscore, Leland, Moon Willis, Tommy Brown, Matt Parad, Harry Sommerdahl, and Frederik “Fredro” Odesjo.

Meanwhile, Henderson is scheduled release her sophomore studio collection, which serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “Chapter One,” later this year via Simon Cowell’s Sony imprint Syco Music.

Bebe Rexha announces release date for “All Your Fault: Pt. 1”

Bebe Rexha has announced the release date for her upcoming project.

“All Your Fault: Pt. 1” – featuring current promotional single “I Got You” – will arrive on February 17 via Warner Brothers Records.

In addition to regular collaborators Lauren Christy and Jacob “JKash” Kasher, the highly-anticipated collection reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from Ross Golan, Sean Douglas, Iain James, Levi Lennox, Ilsey Juber, Talay Riley, Evan “Kidd” Bogart, Simon Wilcox, Brandyn Burnette, MoZella, Clarence Coffee Jr., Sam Martin, and Trey Campbell.

On the production front, Rexha has teamed up with Timbaland, Stargate, Captain Cuts, The Chainsmokers, Invisible Men, MNEK, TMS, Jason Evigan, Fraser T. Smith, Joel Little, Christopher Braide, Jonas Jeberg, Emanuel Kiriakou, Andrew Goldstein, Mitch Allen, Ian Kirkpatrick, Cook Classics, Gladius, DJ Mustard, Busbee, Christoph Andersson, Jon Levine, and Billy Steinberg.

As a songwriter, Rexha recently co-penned Nick Jonas’ “Under You” alongside Savan Kotecha, Rickard Goransson, Ali Payami, and Max Martin.

Her other credits include Martin Garrix’s “In the Name of Love,” Iggy Azalea’s “Team,” G-Eazy’s “Me, Myself, & I,” Bella Thorne’s “One More Night,” Tinashe’s “All Hands on Deck,” David Guetta’s “Hey Mama,” Cash Cash’s “Take Me Home,” Selena Gomez’s “Champion,” and Nikki Williams’ “Glowing.”

Naughty Boy unleashes new single “Should’ve Been Me” with Kyla, Popcaan

Naughty Boy has unleashed his new single online.

“Should’ve Been Me” – featuring guest vocals from Kyla Reid and Popcaan – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Emily Warren (Dua Lipa, Ava Lily) and Scott Harris (Melanie Martinez, Shawn Mendes).

Production duties on “Should’ve Been Me” were collectively handled by Naughty Boy alongside Mustafa Omer and James Murray of Mojam Music, who also worked with the likes of Emeli Sande (“Hurts”), Craig David (“Talking About”), Sam Smith (“Like I Can”) and Gorgon City (“Imagination”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Naughty Boy – real name Shahid Khan – is putting the final touches on his upcoming sophomore studio collection and follow-up to 2013’s “Hotel Cabana” [Naughty Music / Virgin EMI Records].

Kyla, who previously teamed up with Drake on international hit single “One Dance,” is currently recording new music with Youthonix, Evan Bogart, Starsmith, Clarence Coffee, Dayo Olatunji, Sacha Skarbek, Andrea Martin, The Invisible Men, Lindy Robbins, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, and Carla Marie Williams.

Raye has hinted at a new collaboration with Rudimental.

“Unstaged @rudimentaluk #choonz #fun,” the British singer-songwriter posted to her Instagram account on Tuesday (October 25, 2016).

Raye previously co-wrote Blonde’s hit single “All Cried Out” – featuring Alex Newell – which peaked to number four on the UK Singles Chart.

She also provided guest vocals on Nas’s “War,” taken from the original motion picture soundtrack, “Birth of a Nation” [Atlantic Records].

Her mini-collection “Second” – featuring contributions from Charli XCX, Noonie Bao, Frederick Gibson, Michael “BloodPop” Tucker, and Rob Knox – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Polydor Records.

Meanwhile, Rudimental – consisting of Kesi Dryden, DJ Locksmith, Amir Amor and Piers Agget – are expected to release their third studio collection in 2017 via Major Tom’s Music in partnership with Asylum Records and Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers alliances with Sam Romans (Gavin James), Evan Bogart (Jason Derulo), Arrow Benjamin (Ella Henderson), Jim Eliot (Ellie Goulding), Jonny Harris (Foxes) and James Newman (Mollie King).

Rudimental’s previous album, 2015’s “We the Generation,” debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart and delivered guest appearances from Ed Sheeran (“Lay it All on Me”), Lianne La Havas (“Needn’t Speak”), Ella Eyre (“Too Cool”), Anne-Marie (“All That Love”) and Sinead Harnett (“Treading on Water”).

Mac & Phil have hinted at a new collaboration with Ella Henderson.

“Had an amazing couple of days with @EllaHenderson & @EmilyWarrennn last week. And yes, we are wearing PJs in the studio,” the British songwriting and production duo tweeted on Saturday (October 22, 2016).

Mac & Phil are known for co-writing and producing “Hurts” for Emeli Sande alongside Mustafa Omer and James Murray of Mojam. The track peaked to number to number twenty two on the UK Singles Chart.

Born Matthew Holmes and Philip Leigh, the duo have also contributed to forthcoming projects by James Morrison [Island], Ava Lily [Virgin], The Chainsmokers [Disruptor], Tamera Foster [Syco] and Liza Owen [TBA].

Meanwhile, Emily Warren’s songwriting resume boasts works with Lost Kings (“Phone Down”), Chris Lane (“Girl Problems”), Becky Hill (“Back to My Love”), Melanie Martinez (“Soap”) and Shawn Mendes (“Aftertaste”).

Henderson, on the other hand, is expected to release her sophomore album in 2017 through Simon Cowell’s Sony imprint Syco Music.

Ella Henderson has hinted at a new collaboration with Joe Janiak.

“Too much talent … can’t handle @JoeJaniak,” the British singer-songwriter tweeted on Tuesday (October 04, 2016).

Janiak recently co-wrote “Make Me” for Britney Spears along with the song’s producer Matthew Burns. The track peaked at number seventeen on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Janiak’s resume boasts further works with Take That (“Higher and Higher”), Adam Lambert (“Underground”),  Ellie Goulding (“Around U”), Louisa Johnson (“TBA”) and Maxine Ashley (“TBA”).

Christy is known for co-writing singles performed by Dua Lipa (“Blow Your Mind”), Iggy Azalea (“Team”), Bebe Rexha (“I’m Gonna Show You Crazy”), Neon Hitch (“F U Better”) and G-Eazy (“Me, Myself and I”).

Meanwhile, ADP’s production resume boasts works with M.I.A (“Borders”), Jojo (“Good Thing”) and Krept & Konan (“Freak of the Week”).

Eyre, on the other hand, is expected to release the follow-up to 2015’s “Feline” later this year through Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from Becky Hill, Emily Warren, Jonny Coffer, Evan “Kidd” Bogart, Samuel Preston, Ilsey Juber, Jessica Ashley, and Fransisca Hall.

On the production front, Eyre has reportedly teamed up with Jason Evigan, Paul O’Duffy, Toby Gad, Emanuel Kiriakou, Andrew Goldstein, Jonas Jeberg, Two Inch Punch, MSTR ROGERS, and Joel Little.
