Rita Ora releases Fifty Shades Darker track “Kiss Me”

Rita Ora has released her new single.

“Kiss Me” is now available on the Target edition of the original motion picture soundtrack, “Fifty Shades Darker.”

The track was co-written by Herbert “Herbie” Crichlow, whose other credits include Zayn Malik’s “TiO,” Alexandra Burke’s “Gotta Go,” Robyn’s “Do You Know What it Takes,” and Stefanie Heinzmann’s “Diggin’ in the Dirt.”

Production duties on “Kiss Me” were collectively handled by MYKL (Craig David, Ava Lily) and Twice As Nice (Rihanna, Ariana Grande).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Ora’s highly-anticipated sophomore studio collection will arrive later this year via Atlantic Records UK.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts productions from Stargate (Katy Perry), Jake Gosling (Harry Styles), Digital Farm Animals (Liam Payne), Johnny McDaid (James Blunt) and Leon Thomas (Zendaya).

On the songwriting front, Ora has teamed up with EYELAR (Charli XCX), Jason Boyd (K. Michelle), Ed Sheeran (Jessie Ware), Ali Tamposi (Selena Gomez), Brian Lee (Fifth Harmony), Diana Gordon (Beyonce), Chelcee Grimes (Calvin Harris), Jin Jin (Jess Glynne), Andrew Watt (Justin Bieber).

Taya enlists Tom Havelock, Al Shux for new single “Deeper”

Taya has released her new single online.

“Deeper” is now available for download via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Tom Havelock, whose other credits include Sinead Harnett (“Say What You Mean”), Ben Haenow (“Brother”), Kwabs (“Forgiven”) and Ginny Blackmore (“Right Spot”).

Production duties on “Deeper” were handled by Al Shux, whose resume boasts further works with BANKS (“Fuck With Myself”), Elle Varner (“Oh What a Night”), Cheryl (“Hummingbird”) and Leona Lewis (“Sugar”).

Meanwhile, Taya is expected to release her debut EP of the same name – featuring previous singles “Got Me Wondering,” “Fingerprints” and “Sweet Waste of Time” – on November 18 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The British singer-songwriter – real name Taylor Fowlis – recently provided guest vocals on Redlight’s “Here With Me” [Atlantic Records] and Zac Samuel’s “Never Letting Go” [Polydor Records].

She has also recorded new music with the likes of Diztortion, Nicola Roberts, Chris Loco, Ina Wroldsen, Digital Farm Animals, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Howard Lawrence, Starsmith, Chiara Hunter, James Newman, Maiday, and Parker Ighile.

Charli XCX premieres “After the Afterparty” music video

Charli XCX has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “After the Afterparty” – featuring Lil Yachty – to her YouTube channel on Sunday (October 30, 2016).

The track was co-written by XCX along with Rachel “Raye” Keen (Rudimental, Jonas Blue), Eyelar Mirzazadeh (Rita Ora, Macy Marie Maloy) and Samuel “SOPHIE” Long (Madonna, Namie Amuro).

Production duties on “After the Afterparty” were collectively handled by Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen of Stargate (Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey) and Fred Gibson (Noonie Bao, Ellie Goulding).

As mentioned in earlier posts, XCX – real name Charlotte Aitchison – will release her next studio collection in 2017 via Vroom Vroom Recordings in partnership with Asylum Records and Atlantic Records.

Her last studio collection, 2014’s “Sucker,” debuted at number twenty-eight on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles “Boom Clap,” “Break the Rules” and the Rita Ora-assisted “Doing It.”
