Cheryl Cole confirms new album, single details

Cheryl Cole has confirmed the title of her new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “Crazy Stupid Love” as the first promotional single from her upcoming fourth album, “Crystal Clear.”

As previously reported, the new LP by Cole is scheduled for release later this year via Universal Music Group / Polydor / Fascination Records.

It serves as the follow-up to 2012’s” Messy Little Raindrops,” which debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart and delivered two hit singles in the shape of “Call My Name” and “Under the Sun.”

Among the collaborators backing Cheryl on “Crystal Clear” are Jesse Shatkin (Sia, Kylie Minogue), Maureen “Mozella” McDonald (Madonna, Tessanne Chin), Jon Bellion (Rihanna, Eminem) and Camille Purcell (Rita Ora, Jessie J).

Cheryl Cole teams up with Jim Eliot for new album

Cheryl Cole has teamed up with Jim Eliot for her upcoming fourth album.

The still-untitled collection is scheduled to be released later this year via Universal Music Group / Polydor / Fascination Records.

Eliot previously collaborated Cole on hit single “Beautiful ‘Cause You Love Me” by Girls Aloud. The track is lifted from the group’s second compilation album, “Ten,” which peaked at number nine on the UK Albums Chart.

Some of his other notable credits are “Anything Could Happen” by Ellie Goulding [Polydor Records], “All the Lovers” by Kylie Minogue [Parlophone Records] and “Heart Skip a Beat” by Olly Murs [Epic Records].

Other contributors for the follow-up to 2012’s “A Million Lights” are Jesse Shatkin (Sia, Kylie Minogue), Mozella (Tessanne, Miley Cyrus), Jon Bellion (Rihanna, Bebe Rexha) and Camille Purcell (The Saturdays, Leona Lewis).

The Saturdays debut ‘Not Giving Up’ music video

The Saturdays have debuted the music video for their new single online.

“Not Giving Up” is lifted from the group’s latest album, “Living for the Weekend,” out now via Universal Music Group / Fascination / Polydor Records.

The track – available for download from April 7 – was written by Antonio Egizii, Celetia Martin, David Musumeci, Carl Ryden, and Carla Williams.

“Not Giving Up” follows previous singles “30 Days,” “Gentleman” and “Disco Love.” The latter peaked at number 5 on the UK Singles Chart.

“Living for the Weekend” boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Steve Mac (Lily Allen, Nina Nesbitt), Autumn Rowe (Kwabs, Leona Lewis) and Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins (Trey Songz, Mariah Carey).

Amber Riley unveils new song ‘Leave a Light On’

Amber Riley has unveiled a new song online.

The singer/songwriter posted “Leave a Light On” to her Official SoundCloud Page on Valentine’s Day (February 14, 2014).

The track was written by Amber Riley and Lisa Scinta along with Michael Mani and Jordan Omley of production duo The Jam.

“Leave a Light On” has been recorded by The Saturdays for their latest album, “Living for the Weekend,” out now via Fascination / Polydor Records.

Meanwhile, the “Glee” star is currently working on her upcoming debut album, which expected to be released later this year.

The still-untitled collection will be executively produced by Scott “Scooter” Braun, who also manages the music careers of Justin Bieber [Island Records], Tori Kelly [Capitol Records] and Carly Rae Jepsen [Interscope Records].

Among the musicians confirmed for the album are Tommy Brown and Victoria Monet, who previously worked with Fifth Harmony [Epic Records], Cee-Lo Green [Elektra Records] and Naya Rivera [Columbia Records].

Cheryl Cole enlists Camille Purcell for new album

British starlet Cheryl Cole has enlisted the songwriting services of Camille Purcell for her upcoming fourth studio album.

Purcell is known for co-writing tracks including “What About Us” by The Saturdays [Polydor Records], “Nothing Feels Like You” by Little Mix [Columbia Records] and “Mr. Right” by Leona Lewis [Syco Music].

She also worked on the next albums by Ella Henderson [Simco Limited / Syco Music], Pixie Lott [EMI Virgin / Mercury Records], Dionne Bromfield [Lioness / Island Records] and A*M*E [Epic Records].

Cheryl Cole’s last studio album, 2012’s “A Million Lights,” debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart.

That collection also delivered the Calvin Harris-produced “Call My Name” and the Jackie Boyz-assisted “Under the Sun.”

Meanwhile, the still-untitled fourth LP – which also features songwriting contributions from Nicola Roberts – is expected to be released later this year via Universal Music Group / Polydor / Fascination Records.

The Saturdays have released a new song online.

“Love Come Down” – which is a cover Evelyn “Champagne” King’s 1982 hit – will be included as the B-side to current single “Disco Love.”

The follow-up to “Gentleman” – written by Pálmi Ragner Ásgeirsson, Ásgeir Orri Ásgeirsson, Saethór Kristjánsson and Adam Klein – is scheduled for release on October 6 via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Meanwhile, the group’s fourth studio album “Living for the Weekend” will hit the stores on October 14 via Fascination / Polydor Records.

Album contributors include Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins (Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys), Autumn Rowe (Zendaya, Leona Lewis), Jim Jonsin (Usher, Solange Knowles) and Priscilla Renea Hamilton (Madonna, Chris Brown).

The Saturdays have unveiled the official sampler for their upcoming album.

The English-Irish group will release “Living for the Weekend” on October 14 via Universal Music Group / Fascination / Polydor Records.

New single “Disco Love” – written by Pálmi Ragner Ásgeirsson, Ásgeir Orri Ásgeirsson, Saethór Kristjánsson and Adam Klein – will be available for download on October 6 via iTunes and all other digital outlers.

For the follow-up to 2011’s “On Your Radar,” The Saturdays have also collaborated with songwriters Autumn Rowe (Zendaya, Dionne Bromfield), Camille Purcell (Jessie J, Little Mix), Priscilla Renea Hamilton (Beyoncè, Alicia Keys) and Diane Warren (Toni Braxton, Mariah Carey).
