Tinashe unleashes new album “Joyride”

American singer/songwriter Tinashe Jorgensen Kachingwe, known mononymously as Tinashe, has delivered her new album online.

“Joyride” – featuring promotional singles “Me So Bad,” “Faded Love” and “No Drama” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The highly-anticipated project boasts productions from Stargate, Joel Compass, Ritz Reynolds, Soundz, Felix Snow, T-Minus, Hit-Boy, Mario Lucciano, J. White, Todd Cooper, A1, Hitmaka, Dre Moon, Wavy, and BLWYRMIND.

On the songwriting front, Tinashe has teamed up with Amanda Ghost, Sarah Hudson, KStewart, Sidnie Tipton, Noonie Bao, Starrah, Sasha Sloan, Jocelyn “Jo’zzy” Donald, Denisia “Blu June” Andrews, Brittany “Chi” Coney, Allen Ritter, Travis Scott, Jeremih, and Clarence Coffee Jr.

Taya drafts Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Alan Sampson for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Taylor Fowlis, known mononymously as Taya, has drafted Eyelar Mirzazadeh and Alan Sampson for a new collaboration.

Eyelar, who previously teamed up with Taya on the Toddla T-produced “Got Me Wondering” and Jonny Coffer-assisted “Here with Me,” is known for co-penning Charli XCX’s “After the Afterparty,” Diztortion’s “I’ll Be There,” Yellow Claw’s “Drowning in Champagne,” and Little Mix’s “Is Your Love Enough?”

Sampson, who also collaborated with Taya on the Anita Blay-penned “Skin,” is responsible for co-writing and / or co-producing Jay Sean’s “Ride It,” Alesha Dixon’s “Every Little Part of Me,” Zayn Malik’s “She,” Rita Ora’s “Kiss Me,” and Craig David’s “Louder Than Words.”

Meanwhile, Taya’s current promotional single “When Ur Sober” – which was written by Emma Davidson-Dillon alongside Wayne Hector and Arnthor Birgisson – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Her self-titled mini-album features additional alliances with Diztortion (Rihanna), Mark Ralph (Era Istrefi), Nicola Roberts (Tinashe), Felix Snow (Selena Gomez), Al Shux (Plan B), Karen Poole (Lily Allen), Tom Havelock (Sinead Harnett), Jonas Jeberg (Ella Eyre) and Anjulie Persaud (Cassie).

The French Montana-featuring track was co-written by Istrefi alongside Chloe Angelides (Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez), Brittany “Starrah” Hazzard (Halsey, Camila Cabello), Lukas “Lulou” Loules (Tinashe, Carly Rae Jepsen) and Alexander “Alex Purple” Kronlund (Tori Kelly, Ella Eyre).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Istrefi’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous promotional singles “Bon Bon” and “Redrum” – is expected to arrive later this year via B1 Recordings / Neser Music / Ultra Records.

Era Istrefi has enlisted James “JHart” Abrahart for a new collaboration.

The British songwriter is known for co-writing Little Mix’s “Power,” Kelsea Ballerini’s “Machine Heart,” Zara Larsson’s “I Would Like,” Charlie Puth’s “Dangerously,” Fleur East’s “Sax,” Keith Urban’s “Wasted Time,” Rita Ora’s “Body on Me,” Stanaj’s “Changed,” and Fifth Harmony’s “I Lied.”

JHart’s resume boasts additional works with fellow songwriters and producers including Greg Wells, Audra Mae, Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, Alex Hope, Harmony Samuels, Lindy Robbins, David Guetta, Victoria Horn, Ricky Reed, Taylor Parks, Fraser T. Smith, Shungudzo Kuyimba, and LOSTBOY.

Meanwhile, Istrefi is expected to release her upcoming debut album later this year via Ultra Records / B1 Recordings / Neser Music.

Jeberg’s extensive resume boasts further works with songwriters including Ammar Malik, Cara Salimando, Danny Parker, Fransisca Hall, Ed Drewett, Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee, Iain James, Makeba Riddick, Claude Kelly, Julia Michaels, Ross Golan, Taylor Parks, Andre Merritt, and Cathy Dennis.

“When Ur Sober” – featuring Yxng Bane – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Boasting co-production duties from Diztortion (Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson) and Mark Ralph (Amber Mark, Zara Larsson); “Sober” was co-written by Wayne Hector (Anne-Marie, Jess Glynne), Arnthor Birgisson (RAYE, Enrique Iglesias) and Emma Davidson-Dillon (Jasmine Thompson, Zac Samuel).

Taya’s upcoming debut mini-album – featuring previous singles “Deeper,” “Got Me Wondering” and “Sweet Waste of Time” – is scheduled to arrive on September 1st via Atlantic Records UK.

Other producers backing Taya on the self-titled project are George Reid (Raleigh Ritchie), Felix Snow (Katy Perry), Jonas Jeberg (Chris Brown) and Alexander “Al Shux” Shuckburgh (Lianne La Havas).

Era Istrefi has announced the title for her new single.

The Kosovo-Albanian recording artist (born Era Istrefaj) christened “No I Love Yous” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming debut album under Ultra Records / B1 Recordings / Neser Music.

The French Montana-featuring track, which was co-written by Chloe Angelides and Brittany “Starrah” Hazzard alongside Lukas “Lulou” Loules and Alexander “Alex Purple” Kronlund, is scheduled to arrive on August 25 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

In addition to “Bonbon” and the Felix Snow-produced “Redrum,” “Home With You” (co-written by RAYE and co-produced by Big Taste) and “Sapphire” (co-written by Sam Romans and produced by TMS) are among the other tracks slotted for inclusion on Istrefi’s debut album.

The highly-anticipated collection reportedly delivers additional productions and songwriting contributions from HitImpulse, Maegan Cottone, Two Inch Punch, Chelcee Grimes, Fred Ball, Jenna Andrews, Will Simms, Kamille, Fred Gibson, Linnea Sodahl, Jesse Saint John, and Sarah Hudson.

The track was co-written by Peter Thomas, Zakariyah “Zak Waters” Stucchi, Vaughn “DJ U-Tern” Oliver, and Oliver “Oligee” Goldstein.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Betty Who will release her sophomore album “The Valley” – featuring previous singles “Some Kinda Wonderful,” “I Love You Always Forever,” “Human Touch” – on March 24 via RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2014’s “Take Me When You Go” reportedly boasts further songwriting contributions from Fransisca Hall, Justin Tranter, Ali Tamposi, Paul “Phamous” Shelton, Simon Wilcox, James “JHart” Abrahart, Phoebe Ryan, Wrabel, Ilsey Juber, Evan “Kidd” Bogart, and Priscilla Renea.

Betty Who has revealed the tracklisting for her upcoming sophomore album.

The Australian singer/songwriter – real name Jessica Newham – will release “The Valley” on March 24 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Current single “Some Kind of Wonderful” – now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming outlets – was produced by Warren “Oak” Felder, Zaire Koalo, and Trevor Brown.

Other album producers include Jarrad Rogers (Ella Eyre), Toby Gad (Beyonce), Robopop (Britney Spears), Martin Johnson (Avril Lavigne), Felix Snow (SZA), Andrew Wansel (Kehlani), DJ U-Tern (Kelly Clarkson) and Oligee (Jessie J).

Era Istrefi has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The Albanian singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Redrum” – featuring Felix Snow – to Ultra Music’s YouTube channel on Friday (February 25, 2017).

The track was co-written by David Singer, whose other credits include Kiiara’s “Gold,” New Boyz’s “Backseat,” The Cataracs’ “All You,” Far East Movement’s “Like a G6,” Dev’s “Bass Down Low,” and Snoop Dogg’s “Wet.”

Production duties on “Redrum” were collectively handled by Felix Snow (Selena Gomez, Nicole Scherzinger) and Mark Ralph (Clean Bandit, Years & Years).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Istrefi’s first studio collection – featuring previous promotional single “Bon Bon” – will arrive later this year via Ultra Records in partnership with Neser Music and RCA Records.
