Kara Marni premieres music video for new single “Golden”

Kara Marni has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Golden” to her Vevo channel on Friday (September 15, 2017).

The track was co-written by fellow recording artist Sebastian Kole (born Coleridge Tillman), whose other credits include Alessia Cara’s “Here,” Stanaj’s “Ain’t Love Strange,” Jada Grace’s “Believe,” and Fifth Harmony’s “Bridges.”

Production duties on “Golden” were handled by The Invisible Men (aka Jon Shave, George Astasio and Jason Pebworth), who are also responsible for Anne-Marie’s “Heavy,” Bebe Rexha’s “No Broken Hearts,” Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” Britney Spears’s “Pretty Girls,” and Jonas Blue’s “By Your Side.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Marni’s upcoming debut project is expected to arrive later this year via First Access Entertainment / Access Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further productions from Maths Time Joy (Liza Owen), Chris Loco (Raleigh Ritchie), Pantha (Emeli Sande), Fred Cox (Dan Caplen), Lostboy (Nina Nesbitt), Ollie Green (Stephen Puth), MNEK (Dua Lipa), Shea Taylor (Ne-Yo) and Mac & Phil (Leona Lewis).

On the songwriting front, Marni has worked with Andrea Martin (Jordin Sparks), Eyelar Mirzazadeh (Charli XCX), Amy Wadge (Mahalia), Sophie “Frances” Cooke (Meghan Trainor), Lauren Aquilina (Tamera Foster), Grace Tither (Ella Eyre) and Fabienne Holloway (Tori Kelly).

Kara Marni has teased a new collaboration with Andrea Martin.

“When you forget that you are actually working…Ha! Such a blast writing with Ms @andreamsongs,” the British singer/songwriter posted to Instagram on Sunday (May 28, 2017).

Martin in known for co-writing Monica’s “Before You Walk Out of My Life,” Toni Braxton’s “I Love Me Some Him,” Blu Cantrell’s “Breathe,” SWV’s “You’re the One,” En Vogue’s “Don’t Let Go (Love),” Angie Stone’s “Wish I Didn’t Miss You,” Melanie Fiona’s “It Kills Me,” Leona Lewis’ “Better with Time,” Jennifer Hudson’s “I Still Love You,” and Fantasia Barrino’s “Lose to Win.”

Her extensive resume boasts additional works with producers including Stargate, Richard “Biff” Stannard, Chris Loco, Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, Lucas Secon, Swizz Beatz, Jonas Jeberg, Cutfather, Rodney Jerkins, Future Cut, Jack Splash, RedOne, Fraser T. Smith, Dave Tozer, Jesse “Corporal” Wilson, Darhyl “DJ” Camper, Shea Taylor, Jonny Coffer, and Soulshock & Karlin.

Meanwhile, Marni is expected to release her debut project – featuring lead single “No Ordinary Love” – later this year via First Access Entertainment.

Recent songwriting/production credits by MNEK (born Uzoechi Emenike) include Dua Lipa’s “IDGAF,” Becky Hill’s “Rude Love,” Zara Larsson’s “What They Say,” Jax Jones’ “You Don’t Know Me,” Tom Aspaul’s “Messy,” Little Mix’s “Touch,” Jojo’s “Good Thing,” Craig David’s “Change My Love,” Matoma’s “False Alarm,” JKAY’s “Danger,” and Sub Focus’ “Don’t You Feel It.”

The UK record producer and songwriter’s credits include Emeli Sande’s “Garden,” Kylie Minogue’s “Fine,” Justine Skye’s “U Don’t Know,” Etta Bond’s “Kiss My Girlfriend,” Kevin Garrett’s “Little Bit of You,” Elijah Blake’s “Rockabye,” Katherine McPhee’s “Only One,” and Ella Eyre’s “Gravity.”

Loco’s extensive resume boasts further works with songwriters Andrea Martin, Karen Poole, Ina Wroldsen, Emily Warren, Kelly Sheehan, Natalia Hajjara, Livvi Franc, Brittany Burton, Kirby Lauryen, Celetia Martin, Laura “LP” Pergolizzi, Rachel “Maiday” Moulden, Jacob Attwooll, Andrew Jackson, Jaramye Daniels, Bryn Christopher, James Newman, and Scott Harris.
