Tinashe teases new promotional singles “No Drama,” “Me So Bad” and “Faded Love”

American singer/songwriter Tinashe has teased her three upcoming promotional singles under RCA Records – “No Drama,” “Me So Bad” and “Faded Love.”

Featuring French Montana, “Me So Bad” was co-written by Tyrone “Ty Dolla $ign” Griffin Jr. alongside Christopher “Prince Chrishan” Dotson, Melvin Moore, Christian “Hitmaka” Ward, Floyd “A1” Bentley, and Andre Proctor.

“Faded Love” – featuring Future – was co-written by Alexandra “Sasha Sloan” Yatchenko and Jonnali “Noonie Bao” Parmenius alongside Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen of Norwegian production duo Stargate.

Meanwhile, Tinashe is scheduled to release her upcoming sophomore studio collection “Joyride” later this year via RCA Records.

The highly-anticipated project reportedly delivers further contributions from Fred Ball, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Arrow Benjamin, Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee, MNEK, Shungudzo Kuyimba, Benny Cassette, Jonas Jeberg, Sam Hook, Charlie Handsome, BloodPop, Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, and Nova Wav.

Justine Skye unleashes new promotional single “Heaven”

American singer/songwriter Justine Skye has unleashed her new single online.

“Heaven” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Charles “Prince Charlez” Hinshaw Jr., who is also responsible for K. Michelle’s “Talk to God,” Zedd’s “Get Low,” Mary J. Blige’s “Set Me Free,” Ledisi’s “Add to Me,” Trey Songz’s “Song Goes Off,” Rihanna’s “Needed Me,” Beyonce’s “Ring Off,” and Kiana Lede’s “Big Spender.”

Production duties on “Heaven” were handled by Fred Ball, who is also responsible for Prince Charlez’s “Back Around,” Rihanna’s “Love on the Brain,” Toni Braxton’s “Deadwood,” Jessie Ware’s “Slow Me Down,” Madison Beer’s “Say it to My Face,” Zara Larsson’s “One Mississippi,” Astrid S’ “Does She Know,” and Nina Nesbitt’s “Take You to Heaven.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Skye’s upcoming debut album “Ultraviolet” – featuring singles “U Don’t Know,” “Back for More,” “Don’t Think About It,” and “GoodLove” – is scheduled to arrive on January 19 via Roc Nation Records.

The highly-anticipated project boasts additional productions and songwriting contributions from TMS, Rachel “Raye” Keen, Sam Romans, Chris Loco, Moon Willis, Jaramye Daniels, Kevin Garrett, Lyrica Anderson, Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee, A1, Hitmaka, Starrah, PartyNextDoor, and Frank Dukes.

Rita Ora drafts Liam Payne on new promotional single “For You”

British singer/songwriter Rita Ora has teamed up with fellow recording artist Liam Payne on her next promotional single “For You,” which will arrive on January 5th via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Taken from the original motion picture soundtrack “Fifty Shades Freed,” the track was written by Ali Tamposi (Camila Cabello, Selena Gomez), Andrew Watt (Justin Bieber, Charlie Puth) and Ali Payami (Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Ora’s upcoming sophomore album – featuring previous promotional singles “Anywhere” and “This Song” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

The still-untitled collection reportedly yields productions and songwriting contributions from Stargate, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Jason Evigan, Gabrielle Nowee, Sam Romans, Chelcee Grimes, Jonny Coffer, Diana Gordon, Max McElligott, Jimmy Napes, Ammar Malik, Justin Tranter, Mike Dean, Emile Haynie, Jason Boyd, Digital Farm Animals, Leon Thomas, and Jake Gosling.

Justine Skye premieres music video for new single “Don’t Think About It”

Justine Skye has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “Don’t Think About It” was posted to the American singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Friday (December 09, 2017).

The track was co-written by Sam Romans alongside Rachel “Raye” Keen, whose songwriting resume boasts additional works with Little Mix (“If I Get My Way”), Dev (“Come at Me”), M.O (“Not in Love”), Snakehips (“Don’t Leave”), Tara Carosielli (“Money”) and Charli XCX (“After the Afterparty”).

Production duties on “Don’t Think About It” were handled by Peter Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn and Thomas Barnes of TMS, who have recently helmed songs for Naughty Boy (“One Chance to Dance”), Maroon 5 (“Denim Jacket”), Paloma Faith (“Guilty”), Niall Horan (“On My Own”), Zak Samuel (“Play it Cool”), Dua Lipa (“Bad Together”) and Louisa Johnson (“Best Behaviour”).

American singer/songwriter Kimberley Pate, professionally known as K. Michelle, has released her new studio collection online.

“Kimberley:The People I Used to Know” – featuring singles “Birthday,” “Fuck Your Man” and the Chris Brown-assisted “Either Way” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2016’s “More Issues Than Vogue” boasts songwriting contributions from fellow recording artists including Kelly Clarkson (“Run Don’t Walk”), Sonyae Elise (“Birthday”), Prince Charlez (“Talk to God”), Safaree Samuels (“Alert”) and Priscilla Renea (“Brain on Love”).

The American singer-songwriter christened her first studio collection “Ultraviolet” and will release it on January 19 via Roc Nation Records.

Current single “Goodlove” – which was co-written by PartyNextDoor and produced by Frank Dukes – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Tinashe drafts Shungudzo, MNEK for new collaboration

American singer/songwriter Tinashe Jorgensen Kachingwe, known mononymously as Tinashe, has drafted Shungudzo and MNEK for a new song entitled “Eat You Up” (as per ASCAP Reportery).

Having contributed to the next projects by Ella Henderson, Liza Owen, Alina Baraz and Sabina Ddumba; Shungudzo (aka Alexandra Govere) is responsible for co-penning Little Mix’s “Touch,” The Chainsmokers’ “It Won’t Kill Ya,” Louisa Johnson’s “Best Behaviour,” and Jessie Ware’s “Your Domino.”

Meanwhile, recent songwriting/production credits by MNEK include Anne-Marie’s “Heavy,” 5 After Midnight’s “Up in Here,” Zara Larsson’s “What They Say,” Dua Lipa’s “IDGAF,” Raye’s “You Don’t Know Me,” Demi Lovato’s “Instruction,” Becky Hill’s “Unpredictable,” and Olly Murs’ “Private.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Tinashe is expected to release her sophomore studio collection “Joyride” early next year via RCA Records.
