Ella Eyre unleashes new promotional single “Ego”

British singer/songwriter Ella Mary McMahon, professionally known as Ella Eyre, has unleashed her new promotional single online.

“Ego” – featuring Ty Dolla $ign – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Eyre alongside Fransisca Hall and Jesse Shatkin, who are also behind Cheryl’s “Waiting for Lightning,” Kelly Clarkson’s “In the Blue,” Foxes’ “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now,” Jasmine Thompson’s “Crystal Heart,” Indiana’s “Play Dead,” and Lea Michele’s “Believer.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Eyre’s sophomore album and follow-up to 2015’s “Feline” is expected to arrive later this year via Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further songwriting contributions from Becky Hill, Kamille, Lauren Christy, HARLOE, Ilsey Juber, Emily Warren, Stephenie Jones, Dayo Olatunji, Jin Jin, Caroline Ailin, Gina Kushka, Nate Campany, Samuel Preston, and Evan “Kidd” Bogart.

On the production front, Eyre has worked with Jason Evigan, ADP, Jonas Jeberg, Crada, Jonny Coffer, Kid Harpoon, Joel Little, Toby Gad, Jarrad Rogers, Neff-U, Emanuel Kiriakou, Andrew Goldstein, Two Inch Punch, Paul O’Duffy, LOSTBOY, and Mojam Music.

Ray BLK reunites in the studio with Fraser T. Smith

British singer/songwriter Rita Ekwere, professionally known as Ray BLK, has reunited with Fraser T. Smith for Craig David’s upcoming seventh album under Sony Music Entertainment UK / Insanity Records.

The multi Grammy Award winning record producer, and songwriter previously teamed up with Ray BLK on the track “Baby Girlz,” taken from the artist’s critically-acclaimed debut mini-collection, 2016’s “Durt.”

Smith’s extensive resume boasts further works with Stormzy (“Big for Your Boots”), Dakota (“Long Hot Summer”), Cosmo Pyke (“Social Sites”), Grace (“Boyfriend Jeans”), DJ Snake (“Future, Pt. 2”), Fleur East (“Like That”), Sam Smith (“Not in That Way”) and Adele (“Set Fire to the Rain”).

Meanwhile, BLK’s upcoming project – featuring current promotional single “Doing Me” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

In addition to Gina Kushka, Tom Havelock and Jimmy Napes, who worked with BLK on “Doing Me;” Paul Epworth (Lianne La Havas), Chris Loco (Raleigh Ritchie), Jin Jin (Dido), Cass Lowe (Nick Jonas), RAYE (Louisa Johnson), Felix Joseph (Elli Ingram), MNEK (Jax Jones) and Courage (Liv Dawson) are among the other musicians expected to appear on the still-untitled collection.

Kylie Minogue enlists Amy Wadge for new album

Kylie Minogue has enlisted the songwriting services of Amy Wadge for her upcoming 14th album, which will arrive later this year via BMG Records.

Wadge’s extensive resume boasts works with Ed Sheeran (“Thinking Out Loud”), Jasmine Thompson (“Let Myself Try”), Molly Kate Kestner (“I Don’t Know”), Geri Halliwell (“If You Love Someone”), Una Healy (“Stay My Love”), Jamie Lawson (“Don’t Let Me Let You Go”) and James Blunt (“Paradise”).

Fans of her works should also keep an eye on the next projects by Janella Monae, Dakota, Zak Abel, Mahalia, Tom Grennan, Marlon Roudette, Nina Nesbitt, Jessie Ware, Keith Urban, Anne-Marie, Kacey Musgraves, Mullally, Dan Caplen, Ella Henderson, Dagny, James TW, Liv Dawson, Betsy, Aston Merrygold, Jorja Smith, Max George, Lily Moore, Conrad Sewell, and Gryffin.

British singer/songwriter Rita Ekwere, professionally known as Ray BLK, has teamed up with fellow recording artist RAYE for a new collaboration.

Born Rachel Keen, the “You Don’t Know Me” star previously co-penned songs for Charli XCX (“After the Afterparty”), Tara Carosielli (“Money”), Matoma (“The Wave”), Blonde (“Just for One Night”), M.O (“Not in Love”), 5 After Midnight (“Up in Here”) and Snakehips (“Don’t Leave”).

In addition to working on her upcoming project under Polydor Records, RAYE has also contributed to the next releases by Jess Glynne [Atlantic], Rihanna [Roc Nation], Little Mix [Syco Music], Rita Ora [Atlantic], Mabel McVey [Polydor], Era Istrefi [Ultra Music], Rudimental [Atlantic], Anne-Marie [Asylum], Naughty Boy [Virgin EMI] and Ellie Goulding [Polydor].

Meanwhile, BLK’s upcoming project – featuring current promotional single “Doing Me” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Ella Eyre has confirmed the title for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter – born Ella Mary McMahon – dubbed “Ego” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming sophomore album and will release it later this year via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was written by Eyre alongside Fransisca Hall and Jesse Shatkin, who are also behind Cheryl’s “Waiting for Lightning,” Kelly Clarkson’s “In the Blue,” Foxes’ “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now,” Jasmine Thompson’s “Crystal Heart,” Indiana’s “Play Dead,” and Lea Michele’s “Believer.”

Blonde drafts Astrid S for new single “Just for One Night”

English deep house production duo Blonde – composed of Jacob Manson and Adam Englefield – have unleashed their new single online.

“Just for One Night” – featuring guest vocals from Norwegian singer/songwriter Astrid S – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Rachel Keen, professionally known as RAYE, who previously teamed up with Blonde on the Alex Newell-featuring “All Cried Out,” which peaked to number four on the UK Singles Chart.

Production duties on “Just for One Night” were collectively handled by Blonde alongside Hitimpulse, who are also responsible for Kygo & Ellie Goulding’s “First Time,” Alma’s “Chasing Highs,” Doctor’s “Only You,” and Felix Jaehn’s “Bonfire.”

Blonde’s upcoming project is expected to arrive later this year via FFRR Records in partnership with Warner Music Group’s imprint Parlophone Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from Sam Romans (Little Mix), Max McElligott (Kiah Victoria), Grace Tither (Fleur East), Talay Riley (Craig David), Gina Kushka (Kylie Minogue), Jin Jin (Rita Ora), Caroline Ailin (Rachel Platten), Dayo Olatunji (Fifth Harmony), Nate Campany (Tori Kelly) and Levi Lennox (Zayn Malik).

British singer/songwriter Ella Eyre has reunited Sigala for new single “Came Here for Love,” now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The pair previously teamed up on “Good Times,” taken from Eyre’s 2015 album “Feline,” which peaked to number thirty-seven on the UK Singles Chart.

“Came Here for Love,” on the other hand, was written by Ella Eyre and Bryn Christopher alongside the track’s producers Bruce “Sigala” Fielder, Scott “White N3rd” Wild, and Cedrick “Klingande” Steinmyller.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Eyre’s upcoming sophomore album is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.
