Goapele premieres “Strong As Glass” music video

Goapele has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Strong As Glass” to her official YouTube channel on Tuesday (March 24, 2015).

“Strong is Glass” was written by Goapele along with Estelle Swaray, Omari Hardwick, Lance Tolbert and Keith Harris, whose other credits include Nicki Minaj’s “Grand Piano” [Republic] and Britney Spears’ “Perfume” [RCA].

The track follows previous promotional cut “Hey Boy” and appears on the artist’s fifth studio album, “Strong As Glass,” now available for download via iTunes in partnership with BMG Rights and Skyblaze Recordings.

Goapele - Break of Dawn [Deluxe]

Goapele has premiered the music video for her new single online.

“Undertow” marks the fourth single from the singer/songwriter’s latest album, “Break of Down,” out now via Decca Records / Skyblaze Recordings.

The track was produced by James “Malay” Ho, whose credits include “Lost” by Frank Ocean [Def Jam Recordings], “One Thing” by Alicia Keys [RCA Records] and “Green Light” by John Legend [Columbia Records].

“Break of Down” – which serves as the follow-up to 2005’s “Change it All” – boasts further productions from Christopher “Drumma Boy” Gholson (Rick Ross, Wiz Khalifa), Bobby Ozuna (Joss Stone, Raphael Saadiq) and Kerry “Krucial” Brothers (Melanie Amaro, Keyshia Cole).

Goapele reconnects with Electric Thunderbolt for new album

Singer/songwriter Goapele has started work on her upcoming fifth album, which serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Break of Dawn.”

Production on the still-untitled project is headed by Dan E. Lectric and Teddy Thunderbolt of Electric Thunderbolt, who previously teamed up with the artist on “Break of Dawn” tracks “Pieces,” “Cupcake” and “Play.”

Meanwhile, Goapele was recently featured in the original motion picture soundtrack “Sparkle.” The track “Running” was co-written Claude Kelly (Brandy Norwood, Christina Aguilera) and produced by Charles “Chuck Harmony” Harmon (Faith Evans, Jennifer Hudson).

Goapele unveils official artwork for ‘Break of Dawn: Deluxe’

Singer/songwriter Goapele Mohlabane has unveiled the official artwork for the deluxe edition of her fourth album, “Break of Dawn,” due on November 20 via Skyblaze Recordings / Decon Records.

The rejuvenated project will feature four new tracks including lead single “For Love,” which was produced by up and coming producer Bedrock.

“Break of Dawn” was initially released in October, 2011. The disc has yielded three singles in the shape of “Milk & Honey,” “Play” and “Tears on My Pillow.”

In addition to Bedrock, the new collection by Goapele will boast further productions from Kerry “Krucial” Brothers (Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera), James “Malay” Ho (Frank Ocean, Cee Lo Green) and Bobby Ozuna (Kelis, Joss Stone).
