Dua Lipa unwraps tracklisting for debut album “DL1”

Dua Lipa has unwrapped the tracklisting for her upcoming debut album.

As mentioned in earlier posts, the British singer-songwriter will release the self-titled collection – featuring singles “Hotter Than Hell,” “Be the One,” “Blow Your Mind (Mwah),” “Room for 2” and “Thinking About You” – on June 2 via Warner Bros. Records.

Current promotional single “Lost in Your Light” – available from April 21 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets – was co-written by Rick Nowels, whose credits include Lana Del Rey’s “Lust for Life,” FKA twigs’ “Good to Love,” Adele’s “Why Do You Love Me,” Tom Odell’s “Wrong Crowd,” Foxes’ “Wicked Love,” and Melanie C’s “Unravelling.”

Other songwriters backing Dua Lipa on the highly-anticipated project are Lindy Robbins, Autumn Rowe, Chelcee Grimes, Ilsey Juber, Lucy “Pawws” Taylor, Cara Salimando, Emily Warren, Caroline Ailin, Sarah Hudson, Lauren Christy, Sean Douglas, Talay Riley, Ferras Al-Qaisi, and Clarence Coffee Jr.

Album producers include GRADES, Stephen “Koz” Kozmeniuk, Digital Farm Animals, Emile Haynie, RITUAL, Jon Levine, Axident, Tom Neville, Ian Kirkpatrick, James Flannigan, Greg Wells, Andrew Wyatt, and TMS.

Camille Purcell teases new collaboration with The Script

Camille Purcell has teased a new collaboration with The Script.

“@thescriptofficial love u. i’ve been slyly starstruck cos I love (study) all your songs and Breakeven 100% inspired me to start writing 😢😩 it’s aite tho I’ve been playin it cool all this time you’d never know I’m the number one Stan 😁🔪🙊 #5thAlbum,” the British singer/songwriter posted to Instagram.

Purcell’s songwriting resume boasts credits with Little Mix (“Shout Out to My Ex”), Olly Murs (“You Don’t Know Love”), Fleur East (“Sax”), Sam Bailey (“Treasure”), Ella Henderson (“Glow”), Leona Lewis (“Mr. Right”), Roll Deep (“All or Nothing”), Jessie J (“Hero”), Lena (“Keep on Living”), The Saturdays (“What About Us”) and Sigma (“Find Me”).

She’s also working on her upcoming debut album under Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records with the likes of Chris Loco (RAYE, Emeli Sande), Two Inch Punch (Sam Smith, Jessie Ware), Dantae Johnson (Vanessa White, Kieran Alleyne) and Goldfingers (John Newman, Liza Owen).

Meanwhile, The Script – composed of Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan, and Glen Power – are expected to release their fifth studio collection later this year via Phonogenic Records and Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project – featuring additional songwriting contributions and productions from Toby Gad, JHart, and Greg Wells – serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “No Sound Without Silence,” which topped the UK Albums Chart and peaked to number ten on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Fans of Purcell’s songwriting works, on the other hand, should keep an eye on the next releases by Jess Glynne, David Guetta, Rita Ora, Liza Owen, Mollie King, Sigala, Tamera Foster, Calum Scott, Dua Lipa, Wiz Kid, and Ella Eyre.

JP Cooper releases new single “Passport Home”

British singer/songwriter JP Cooper has released his new single online.

“Passport Home” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written and co-produced by Jamie Hartman, whose credits include Kacy Hill’s “Lion,” Jennifer Hudson’s “Remember Me,” Birdy’s “Shadow,” Conrad Sewell’s “Remind Me,” Kylie Minogue’s “Your Body,” Marlon Roudette’s “Everybody’s Feeling Something,” and Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Human.”

Cooper’s upcoming debut album – featuring the Mike Spencer-produced “September Song” and Two Inch Punch-assisted “Best Friend” – is expected to arrive later this year via Island Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further contributions from Digital Farm Animals (Liam Payne), Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran), Toby Gad (John Legend), Greg Wells (Keith Urban), Francis “Eg” White (James Morrison), Paul Barry (Enrique Iglesias) and Alex Smith (Olly Murs).

Anne-Marie unveils music video for new single “Ciao Adios”

Anne-Marie has unveiled the music video for her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Ciao Adios” to her YouTube channel on Thursday (March 09, 2017).

The track was co-written by Anne-Marie alongside Jennifer Decilveo, whose other credits include Rebecca Ferguson’s “Without a Woman,” Wynter Gordon’s “Bleeding Out,” Rixton’s “Wait on Me,” Melanie Martinez’s “Play Date,” Andra Day’s “Rise,” Ryn Weaver’s “Free,” and Theory of a Deadman’s “Angel.”

Production duties on “Ciao Adios” were collectively handled by Mason “MdL” Levy (Justin Bieber, Samantha Jade, Mike Posner) and Tom Meredith (Andy Grammar, Brandyn Burnette, Astrid S).

Anne-Marie’s first studio collection, on the other hand, will arrive later this year via Major Tom’s Music and Asylum Records.

The British singer/songwriter – real name Rachel Keen – is known for co-writing Charli XCX’s “After the Afterparty,” Snakehips’ “Don’t Leave,” M.O’s “Not in Love,” Blonde’s “All Cried Out,” Era Istrefi’s “Home with You,” Jax Jones’ “You Don’t Know Me,” and Matoma’s “The Wave.”

RAYE’s mini-collection “SECOND” – featuring “I, U, Us,” “Tell Me,” “Ambition,” “Shhh,” and “Distraction” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming outlets.

The British singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Thinkin ‘Bout You” to her YouTube channel on Wednesday (February 22, 2017).

The Canadian record producer and songwriter is known for his works with The Weeknd (“Earned It”), Miley Cyrus (“Wrecking Ball”), Celine Dion (“A New Day Has Come”), Seal (“Daylight Saving”), Jon Bellion (“Fashion”), Skylar Grey (“I Know You”), Ne-Yo (“Ballerina”) and Maty Noyes (“London”).

Moccio has also contributed to the next projects by Skrillex, Jennifer Lopez, Meghan Trainor, Stanaj, Julia Michaels, Tori Kelly, Jasmine Thompson, Conrad Sewell, Jessie Ware, Avery Wilson, Lea Michele, Emeli Sande, and James Blunt.
