Anne-Marie connects with Snakehips for new single “Either Way”

British singer/songwriter Anne-Marie Nicholson, mononymously known as Anne-Marie, has connected with Oliver Lee and James Cartner of electronic music production duo Snakehips for their new single “Either Way,” now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by fellow recording artist Julia Michaels, whose recent credits include Selena Gomez’s “Bad Liar,” Jasmine Thompson’s “Wanna Know Love,” Shakira’s “When a Woman,” Zara Larsson’s “One Mississippi,” Ed Sheeran’s “Dive,” and Skyler Stecker’s “How Did We.”

Production duties on “Either Way,” which also features rapper Joey Badass, were collectively handled by Snakehips alongside Warren “Oak” Felder and Cass Lowe, who is also responsible for Charli XCX’s “Boys,” Gryffin’s “Love in Ruins,” Rudimental’s “Sun Comes Up,” and Astrid S’s “About a Boy.”

Fans of Anne-Marie, on the other hand, should keep an eye on her upcoming debut album, which is expected to hit stores and online outlets later this year via Major Tom’s Music / Asylum Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts productions from Chris Loco (Emeli Sande), Moon Willis (Chris Brown), Fraser T. Smith (Jess Glynne), Greg Wells (Keith Urban), Rick Nowels (FKA twigs), Digital Farm Animals (Marlon Roudette), Fred Cox (Tori Kelly), Bless Beats (Sean Paul), Jonas Jeberg (Ella Eyre) and Mojam Music (Tom Walker).

The UK record producer and songwriter has previously worked with Zac Samuel & Taya (“Never Letting Go”), Justine Skye (“U Don’t Know”), Chris Brown (“Bite My Tongue”), Ray BLK (“Bad Boys”), Craig David (“It Was Always You”), Kyla (“Congratulations”), Becky Hill (“Insecure”), Melissa Steel (“Ray of Sunshine”), Laura Welsh (“You Don’t Even Know”) and RAYE (“Not for You”).

Moon Willis’ extensive resume boasts additional alliances with fellow producers and songwriters including Cara Salimando, Tom Aspaul, Jenna Andrews, Leland, Chelcee Grimes, Jaramye Daniels, Ruth-Anne Cunningham, Talay Riley, Maiday, Kevin Garratt, Jennifer Decilveo, Two Inch Punch, Nicola Roberts, Daecolm Holland, Ilsey Juber, and Tre Jean-Marie.

Meanwhile, Anne-Marie is scheduled to release her first studio collection – featuring singles “Ciao Adios,” “Alarm” and “Do it Right” – later this year via Major Tom’s Music / Asylum Records.

JP Cooper releases new promotional single “She’s on My Mind”

British singer/songwriter John Paul Cooper, professionally known as JP Cooper, has released his new promotional single online.

“She’s On My Mind” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Jon Hume and Mr. Hudson, who previously teamed up with JP Cooper on “September Song.” Released in 16 September 2016, the track peaked to number seven on the UK Singles Chart.

Production duties on “She’s on My Mind” were collectively handled by Teemu Brunila alongside Mike Spencer, whose recent credits include Youngr’s “Monsters,” Zara Larsson’s “Ain’t My Fault,” Snakehips’ “Cruel,” Gabrielle Aplin’s “Miss You,” and Raleigh Ritchie’s “I Can Change.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, JP Cooper’s upcoming debut album “Raised Under Grey Skies” – featuring previous single “Passport Home” – will arrive on September 22 via Universal Music Group / Island Records UK.

The songwriting and production duo are known for their works with Emeli Sande (“Hurts”), Conor Maynard (“Talking About”), Naughty Boy (“Should’ve Been Me”), Sinead Harnett (“Do it Anyway”), Plan B (“In the Name of Man”), Cheryl (“Boys”), Tom Walker (“Heartland”), Frances (“No Matter”), Gorgon City (“Imagination”), James Arthur (“Get Down”) and Sam Smith (“Like I Can”).

Nick Jonas premieres music video for new single “Remember I Told You”

Nick Jonas has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The American singer, songwriter, and record producer posted the visual clip for “Remember I Told You” – featuring Mike Posner and Anne-Marie – to his Vevo channel on Tuesday (June 27, 2017).

“Remember I Told You” was written by Nick Jonas alongside it’s producer Mike Posner, whose other credits include Maroon 5’s “Sugar,” Labrinth’s “Beneath Your Beautiful,” Justin Bieber’s “Girlfriend,” Rixton’s “I Like Girls,” Olly Murs’ “Nothing Without You,” and Cher Lloyd’s “Just Be Mine.”

Jonas’ upcoming fourth studio collection, which serves as the follow-up to 2016’s “Last Year Was Complicated,” is expected to arrive later this year via Safehouse Records in partnership with Island Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional productions from Greg Wells (Adele), Jason Evigan (Alex Aiono), Gian Stone (Fifth Harmony), Andrew Goldstein (Ne-Yo), Cass Lowe (Snakehips), Nick Monson (Selena Gomez), David Hodges (Colbie Caillat) and Mattman & Robin (Taylor Swift).

Dua Lipa has unwrapped the tracklisting for her upcoming debut album.

As mentioned in earlier posts, the British singer-songwriter will release the self-titled collection – featuring singles “Hotter Than Hell,” “Be the One,” “Blow Your Mind (Mwah),” “Room for 2” and “Thinking About You” – on June 2 via Warner Bros. Records.

Current promotional single “Lost in Your Light” – available from April 21 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets – was co-written by Rick Nowels, whose credits include Lana Del Rey’s “Lust for Life,” FKA twigs’ “Good to Love,” Adele’s “Why Do You Love Me,” Tom Odell’s “Wrong Crowd,” Foxes’ “Wicked Love,” and Melanie C’s “Unravelling.”
