Mario releases new promotional single “Care for You”

American singer/songwriter Mario Barrett, known mononymously as Mario, has released his new promotional single online.

“Care for You” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Jackson Dimiglio-Wood alongside former Cherish member Felisha King, whose resume boasts additional works with Sevyn Streeter (“Before I Do”) and Tamar Braxton (“Simple Things”).

Production duties on “Care for You” were handled by Jake Gosling, who is also responsible for Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud,” Shawn Mendes’s “Mercy,” Paloma Faith’s “Picking Up the Pieces,” Lupe Fiasco’s “Old School Love,” Shania Twain’s “Light of My Life,” and Rebecca Ferguson’s “Waiting for Me.”

Mario’s latest studio collection “Dancing Shadows” – featuring further contributions from Daecolm, Elijah Blake, XSDTRK, Ari PenSmith, P2J, Bianca “Blush” Atterberry, J Warner, Carla Marie Williams, Pham, Guordan Banks, and Ryan McDermott – is out now via New Citizen LLC / Empire.

La’Porsha Renae confirms details for debut album

La’Porsha Renae has confirmed the details for her upcoming debut album.

The singer/songwriter christened her first studio collection “Already All Ready” and will release it on March 31 via 19 Recordings and Motown Records.

Current promotional single “What is Love” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Amongst the producers backing Renae on “Already All Ready” are Harmony Samuels (Sevyn Streeter, Jordin Sparks), Edgar “JV” Etienne (Pia Mia, Keyshia Cole) and Shaffer “Ne-Yo” Smith (Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Rowland).

The highly-anticipated project also delivers songwriting contributions from Tiffany Fred (Zendaya, Pixie Lott), Al Sherrod Lambert (Fantasia, Tamar Braxton), Guordan Banks (K. Michelle, Vivian Green), Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd (Rita Ora, Sam Smith) and Zara Larsson (Tinie Tempah, Fifth Harmony).

Bridget Kelly teams up with Guordan Banks for new collaboration

Bridget Kelly has teamed up with Guordan Banks for a new collaboration.

The American singer/songwriter is known for penning John Legend’s “Caught Up,” Keyshia Cole’s “Get it Right,” RaVaughn’s “I’m So Fucked Up,” K. Michelle’s “Maybe I Should Call,” and Vivian Green’s “Anything Out There.”

Banks’ extensive resume boasts further works with fellow songwriters and producers Jessyca Wilson, Vidal Davis, Elijah Blake, Ivan Barias, Dave Tozer, Bianca Atterberry, Darhyl “DJ” Camper, Eric Hudson, Kwame Holland, Happy Perez, Warren “Oak” Felder, Andrew “Pop” Wansel, and The Stereotypes.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Kelly’s first studio collection, tentatively entitled “All or Nothing,” is expected later this year.

The former Roc Nation signee’s mixtape “Time Flies” – featuring 10 new songs including “So Epic,” “Carry My Cross,” and “Afterlife” – is now available for streaming via online mixtape distribution platform, “DatPiff.”

The collection delivers contributions from Jerry Duplessis (Estelle), Crystal Nicole (Mariah Carey), Arden Altino (Jennifer Hudson), Stacy Barthe (Katy Perry), Al Shux (Alicia Keys), James Fauntleroy (Rihanna), Lil Eddie (Usher), Corey “Chorus” Gibson (Demi Lovato) and Mansur Zafr (Sevyn Streeter).

K. Michelle premieres music video for new single “Hard to Do”

K. Michelle has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The singer and songwriter posted the visual clip for “Hard to Do” to her official YouTube channel on Monday (May 18, 2015).

“Hard to Do” was written by K. Michelle and Bianca “Blush” Atterberry along with Maurice “Verse” Simmonds, whose other credits include Fifth Harmony’s “Top Down” [Epic Records] and Chris Brown’s “New Flame” [RCA Records].

Production duties on “Hard to Do” were handled by Kenneth “Soundz” Coby, who is also responsible for Jasmine V’s “One Night” [Interscope Records], Rihanna’s “Skin” [Def Jam Recordings] and Ciara’s “DUI” [Epic Records].

K. Michelle’s latest CD “Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart” – featuring previous singles “Love ‘Em All,” “Maybe I Should Call” and “Something About the Night” – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

In related news, Jason Derulo’s upcoming album “Everything is 4” includes a song with K. Michelle and Guordan Banks entitled “Love Like That.” The keenly-awaited project will hit stores on June 2 under Warner Bros Records.

Jason Derulo has revealed the tracklist for his upcoming fourth album.

The singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “Everything is 4” on June 2 under Beluga Heights and Warner Bros Records.

Lead single “Want to Want Me” – which was produced by Ian Kirkpatrick and co-written by Lindy Robbins, Sam Martin and Mitch Allan – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

The follow-up to 2014’s “Talk Dirty” boasts further songwriting contributions from Sean Douglas (Madonna, Demi Lovato), Ross Golan (Eliza Doolittle, Colbie Caillat) and Guordan Banks (Keyshia Cole, John Legend).

Album producers are Jason Evigan (Bebe Rexha, Selena Gomez), Denarius “Motesart” Motes (Sia, Celine Dion), Warren “Oak” Felder (Toni Braxton, Chris Brown) and Steve “Aceface” Mostyn (Ella Henderson, Jessie Ware).

Jason Derulo has debuted a new song online.

The singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Cheyenne” to his official YouTube channel on Tuesday (April 28, 2015).

“Cheyenne” is lifted from the artist’s fourth studio album, “Everything is 4,” out on June 2 under Beluga Heights / Warner Bros Records.

The highly-anticipated collection serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “Talk Dirty,” which peaked to number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “Wiggle,” “Marry Me” and “Stupid Love.”

Among the musicians backing Derulo on “Everything is 4” are Jason Evigan (Madonna, Kelly Clarkson), Sean Douglas (David Guetta, Jessie J), DJ Mustard (Rihanna, Charli XCX) and Guordan Banks (K. Michelle, John Legend).

Furthermore, Derulo will serve as the executive producer for Alyxx Dione’s upcoming debut project under Future History Records and RCA Records. Her current single “Chingalinga” is now available for download via iTunes.
