John Newman delivers new promotional single “Fire in Me”

British singer/songwriter John Newman has delivered his new single online.

“Fire in Me” – which was co-written by James Newman, David “Dave the Doctor” Mørup, and Philip Plested – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Newman is scheduled to release his third album and follow-up to 2015’s “Revolve” later this year via Island Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts further contributions from The Electric, Fred Ball, Evan Bogart, Jonathan Rotem, Andrew Jackson, Johnny McDaid, Foy Vance, Jamie Hartman, Max McElligott, Johnny Ghost, Digital Farm Animals, Guy Chambers, Jonny Coffer, and Goldfingers.

As a songwriter, Newman recently co-write “‘Til I’m Done” for Paloma Faith alongside regular collaborators Wayne Hector and TMS (aka Peter “Merf” Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn, and Thomas “Froe” Barnes).

Kylie Minogue confirms new promotional single “Dancing”

Kylie Minogue has confirmed the details for her upcoming promotional single.

The Australian singer/songwriter christened the Sky Adams-produced “Dancing” as the first cut from her upcoming fourteenth album “Golden” and will release it on January 19 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

“Golden,” which follows 2014’s “Kiss Me Once” and 2015’s “Kylie Christmas,” is scheduled to arrive later this year via BMG Rights Management.

The highly-anticipated project reportedly boasts further productions from Richard “Biff” Stannard, Ash Howes, Cutfather, Peter Wallevik, Daniel Davidsen, Mark Taylor, Francis “Eg” White, Nathan Chapman, Luke Fitton, Chris DeStefano, Guy Chambers, Sigala, DJ Fresh, and Invisible Men.

On the songwriting front, Minogue has worked with Karen Poole, Amy Wadge, Bonnie McKee, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Lauren Aquilina, Grace Barker, Twinnie, Gina Kushka, Seton Daunt, Steve McEwan, Alex Smith, and Danny Shah.

The Australian singer/songwriter christened her fourteenth studio collection “Golden” and will release it later this year via BMG Rights Management.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Kylie Christmas” reportedly boasts songwriting contributions from Karen Poole, Amy Wadge, Bonnie McKee, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Lauren Aquilina, Grace Carter, Twinnie, Gina Kushka, Seton Daunt, Steve McEwan, Alex Smith, and Danny Shah.

Zak Abel has unveiled his new promotional single online.

The track was co-written and produced by Cass Lowe, whose other credits include Charli XCX’s “Boys,” Snakehips’ “All My Friends,” Rudimental’s “Sun Comes Up,” Astrid S’ “Such a Boy,” Fifth Harmony’s “Scared of Lonely,” AlunaGeorge’s “I Remember,” and Niia’s “Girl Like Me.”

Ball’s resume boasts additional alliances with songwriters including Shaznay Lewis, Evan “Kidd” Bogart, Roses Gabor, Andrew Jackson, Natalia Hajjara, Arrow Benjamin, Bibi Bourelly, Iain James, Ruth-Anne Cunningham, Joseph Angel, Livvi Franc, Sam Dew, Nina Woodford-Wells, and Ed Drewett.

Wadge’s extensive resume boasts works with Ed Sheeran (“Thinking Out Loud”), Jasmine Thompson (“Let Myself Try”), Molly Kate Kestner (“I Don’t Know”), Geri Halliwell (“If You Love Someone”), Una Healy (“Stay My Love”), Jamie Lawson (“Don’t Let Me Let You Go”) and James Blunt (“Paradise”).
