HAIM draft Ariel Recthshaid, Rostam Batmanglij for new single “Little of Your Love”

American rock band HAIM – consisting of sisters Este Haim (bass), Danielle Haim (guitars and lead vocals), and Alana Haim (guitars and keyboards) – have released their new promotional single online.

“Little of Your Love” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by regular collaborator Ariel Rechtshaid, who is also responsible for Adele’s “When We Were Young,” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “All That,” Kelela’s “Rewind,” Charli XCX’s “Stay Away,” Madonna’s “Living for Love,” Sky Ferreira’s “You’re Not the One,” and Usher’s “Climax.”

Production duties on “Little of Your Love” were collectively handled by Rechtshaid alongside Rostam Batmanglij, whose other credits include Solange’s “F.U.B.U.,” Frank Ocean’s “Ivy,” Santigold’s “Big Boss Big Time Business,” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Warm Blood,” and Charli XCX’s “Need Ur Love.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, HAIM will release their upcoming sophomore album “Something to Tell You” – featuring previous promotional singles “Want You Back” and “Right Now” – will arrive on July 7th via Polydor Records (UK) and Columbia Records (US).

HAIM have announced the details for their sophomore album.

The American pop rock band – composed of sisters Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim – christened their second studio collection “Something to Tell You” and will release it on July 7th via Columbia Records (US) and Polydor Records (UK).

Current promotional single “Want You Back” – which was collectively produced by Ariel Rechtshaid and BloodPop – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The highly-anticipated project reportedly boasts further contributions from Jesse Shatkin (Rihanna, Kylie Minogue), Rostam Batmanglij (Santigold, Charli XCX) and Justin Tranter (Tinashe, Britney Spears).

HAIM’s debut studio collection, 2013’s “Days Are Gone,” peaked to number six on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “If I Could Change Your Mind,” “My Song 5,” “The Wire” and “Don’t Save Me.”

HAIM collaborated with Justin Tranter for their sophomore album.

Tranter recently co-wrote “Misery” for Gwen Stefani along with Julia Michaels and Swedish producers Robin Fredriksson and Mattias Larsson. The track is now available for download via Interscope Records.

His resume includes further works with The Knocks (“Love Me Like That”), Kelly Clarkson (“Nostalgic”), Pia Mia (“Touch”), Justin Bieber (“Sorry”), Hailee Steinfeld (“Love Myself”) and Selena Gomez (“Hands to Myself”).

Meanwhile, HAIM – composed of sisters Alaina, Danielle and Este Haim – are expected to release their second studio collection later this year through Columbia Records (US) and Polydor Records (UK).

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Days Are Gone,” which peaked to number six on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “If I Could Change Your Mind” and “Forever.”

Fans of Tranter’s songwriting, on the other hand, should look out for the next projects by Fifth Harmony [Syco], Jasmine Thompson [Atlantic], Zara Larsson [Epic], Betty Who [RCA] and Rita Ora [Columbia].

Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding debut new song “Outside”

Calvin Harris has debuted a new song online.

The Scottish DJ and record producer posted the Ellie Goulding-assisted audio clip for “Outside” to his official Vevo page on Monday (October 20, 2014).

“Outside” is lifted on the artist’s upcoming fourth studio album, “Motion,” out on 3 November via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

Harris previously teamed up with Goulding on hit single “I Need Your Love,” which peaked at number four on the UK Singles Chart.

Current single “Blame” – featuring vocals from British singer/songwriter John Newman – is now available for download via iTunes (UK).

Other artists backing Harris on the follow-up to 2012’s “18 Months” are Gwen Stefani [Interscope Records], Tinashe [RCA Records], Big Sean [Def Jam Recordings], Haim [Polydor Records] and All About She [Disturbing London].

MNEK has been added to the list of contributors for Madonna’s next album.

The British singer, songwriter and record producer – born Uzoechi Emenike – previously worked with the likes of Rudimental [Atlantic Records], Gorgon City [Virgin EMI Records] and Clean Bandit [Warner Bros. Records].

Some of his notable credits include Kylie Minogue’s “Feels So Good” [Parlophone Records], Neon Jungle’s “London Rain” [RCA Records] and The Saturdays’ “What Are You Waiting For?” [Polydor Records].

Meanwhile, the highly-anticipated new album by Madonna is expected to be released later this year via Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “MDNA,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

It is confirmed to yield further collaborations with Diplo (Sia, Chris Brown), Toby Gad (Beyonce, John Legend), Ariel Rechtshaid (HAIM, Sky Ferreira) and Maureen “Mozella” McDonald (Miley Cyrus, Tessanne Chin).
