Louise releases new single “Breaking Bad Together”

British singer/songwriter Louise Redknapp, known mononymously as Louise, has released her new single online.

“Breaking Bad Together” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Sinead Harnett alongside Adam Argyle (Dua Lipa, Izzy Bizu) and Michael Angelo (Laura Welsh, Sabina Ddumba).

Louise’s upcoming fourth album – featuring previous singles “Lead Me On,” “Small Talk” and “Stretch” – is scheduled to arrive on 17 January 2020 via Warner Music Group / Lil Lou Records.

The highly-anticipated project boasts further contributions from Francis “Eg” White, Karen Poole, Sam Romans, Chiara Hunter, Tom Aspaul, Raye, Fred Cox, Lauren Aquilina, Phil Cook, and Hannah Robinson.

Mutya Keisha Siobahn reunite for new music

Mutya Keisha Siobhan have reunited in the studio for new music.

The British girl group – composed of members Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghey – have released their last single “Flatline” in 2013 via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records. The Devonte Hynes-produced cut peaked to number fifty on the UK Singles Chart.

Their song “Love in Stereo,” which was written by the trio alongside Hannah Robinson and Richard X, appears on Bananarama’s latest studio collection, “In Stereo,” now available via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.

As the the original line-up of Sugababes, the trio’s debut album “One Touch” dropped in November 2000 via London Records. The critically-acclaimed collection debuted at number twenty-six on the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles “Overload,” “Run for Cover,” “New Year” and “Soul Sound.”

While Buchanan has not released a solo album as-of-yet, Donaghy released two albums in the shape of “Revolution in Me” (2003) and “Ghosts” (2007). Buena’s solo album “Real Girl” was released in 2007 via Island Records UK.

That project featured lead single “Real Girl,” as well as contributions from Salaam Remi, Wayne Wilkins, Nina Woodford, Johnny Douglas, Angela Hunte, Felix Howard, Pam Sheyne, Ali Tennant, and Francis “Eg” White.

Bananarama record MKS song for new album “In Stereo”

British female pop duo Bananarama – composed of Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward – have a recorded a song originally performed by MKS for their eleventh album, “In Stereo,” which will arrive on April 19 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

“Love in Stereo” was written by MKS members Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy alongside Hannah Robinson and Richard X, who are also responsible for Rachel Stevens’ “Some Girls,” Sophie Ellis Bextor’s “Starlight,” and Kylie Minogue’s “Can’t Beat the Feeling.”

Originally formed in 1998 as Sugababes, MKS have released their last single “Flatline” (which was co-written and produced by Blood Orange’s Devonte Hynes) in 2013 via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

Their highly-anticipated album featured further contributions from Richard “Biff” Stannard (“Beat is Gone”), Shaznay Lewis (“Boys”), Tom Aspaul (“Burnt Out”), MNEK (“Drum”), Iain James (“Love Me Hard”), Sia (“Surrender”), Eliot James (“Summer of 99”) and Mojam (“Too in Love”).

DAKOTA enlists Maiday, Bless Beats for debut album

DAKOTA has enlisted Maiday and Bless Beats for her debut album.

Maiday – real name Rachel Moulden – is responsible for co-writing Leona Lewis’s “Stop the Clocks” [Syco Music], Naughty Boy’s “One Way” [Virgin EMI], and Girls Aloud’s “Beautiful ‘Cause You Love Me” [Polydor].

Meanwhile, notable production credits by Bless Beats are Krishane’s “Drunk and Incapable” f/ Melissa Steel [Atlantic Records] and Tinie Tempah’s “Not Letting Go” f/ Jess Glynne [Disturbing London / Parlophone Records].

DAKOTA, on the other hand, is expected to release her first studio collection – featuring “Lonely Like a Fool” – later this year through 70Hz Recordings.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts further songwriting contributions from Amy Wadge, Ed Drewett, Laura Dockrill, Hannah Robinson, Karen Poole, Ollie Green, Tim Woodcock, and Martin Brammer.

On the production front, DAKOTA has teamed up with Fraser T. Smith, Linda Perry, Jamie Scott, Future Cut, Jez Ashurst, Luke Potashnick, Josh Record, Fred Cox, Jack McManus, and MKYL.

Foxes shares “Devil Side” acoustic performance

Foxes has shared a new performance video online.

The singer-songwriter – real name Louisa Allen – posted an acoustic rendition of “Devil Side” to her Vevo channel on Sunday (February 07, 2016).

“Devil Side” was co-written and produced by Dan Wilson, whose other credits include Adele (“Someone Like You”), Taylor Swift (“Come Back … Be Here”), Pink (“The Great Escape”), and Rae Morris (“Unguarded”).

Foxes’ sophomore studio collection “All I Need” – featuring singles “Body Talk,” “Better Love” and “Amazing” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Epic Records (UK) and RCA Records (US).

Other album songwriters include Babyface (Nathan Sykes), Kid Harpoon (Shakira), Hannah Robinson (Lana Del Rey), Fransisca Hall (Icona Pop), Jonny Lattimer (Izzy Bizu), Rick Nowels (Madonna), and Mozella (Tinashe).

On the production front, Foxes has teamed up with Mark Ralph (Lion Babe), Tim Bran (James Morrison), Roy Kerr (Marlon Roudette), Jim Eliot (Ellie Goulding), Jesse Shatkin (Kelly Clarkson), and Liam Howe (FKA twigs).

Cass Lowe hints at new collaboration with KStewart

Cass Lowe has hinted at a new collaboration with KStewart.

“@k_stewart_music keeps throwing the session off trying to set her mum up with @davidguetta,” the British musician posted to his Instagram account.

Lowe recently co-wrote and co-produced “All My Friends” for electronic music duo Snakehips. The track – which features Tinashe and Chance the Rapper – is now available for download via iTunes and all other online outlets.

Other notable credits by Lowe include Cheryl’s “Coming Up for Air” f/ Joel Compass [Polydor Records], Sinead Harnett’s “Anywhere But Here” [Virgin EMI Records] and Kwabs’ “Love + War” [Atlantic Records].

Meanwhile, KStewart is scheduled to release her debut album – featuring singles “Keeping You Up” and “Ain’t Nobody” – next year through Cherry Jam Records.

KStewart has unleashed her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter – born Kate Stewart – posted the audio clip for “Ain’t Nobody” to her YouTube channel on Friday (October 02, 2015).

Production duties on “Ain’t Nobody” – now available for download via iTunes – were collectively handled by Sam “TCTS” O’Neill (Ella Eyre, Jessie Ware) and Sam “Karma Kid” Knowles (Laura Mvula, Craig David).

As mentioned in earlier posts, KStewart is expected to release her upcoming collection – featuring previous singles “Close Enough” and “Keeping You Up” – later this year through Cherry Jam Records.

Foxes releases “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now” music video

Foxes has released a new music video online.

“Feet Don’t Fail Me Know” is slotted for inclusion on the British singer/songwriter’s upcoming sophomore album.

Furthermore, the track was launched by Swedish multinational clothing line H&M as part of their H&M Loves Music campaign.

The upcoming studio collection by Foxes is scheduled for release later this year through Sign of the Times Records (UK) and RCA Records (US).

Current single “Body Talk” was co-written by Jim Eliot, whose credits include Will Young [Island Records], Ellie Goulding [Polydor Records], Olly Murs [Epic Records], Rae Morris [Atlantic Records] and Leona Lewis [Def Jam Recordings].

The follow-up to 2014’s “Glorious” features other alliances with Liam Howe (FKA twigs, Laura Welsh), Hannah Robinson (Annie, Icona Pop), The Rascals (Ariana Grande, Toni Braxton) and Jin Jin (Jess Glynne, Tinie Tempah).

Foxes has debuted her new single online.

The British singer and songwriter – born Louisa Allen – posted the audio clip for “Body Talk” to her Vevo channel on Thursday (June 04, 2015).

“Body Talk” – available for download from July 24 via iTunes (UK) – was co-written by Jim Eliot, whose other credits include Will Young’s “Love Revolution” [Island Records] and Sigma’s “Glitterball” f/ Ella Henderson [3 Beat Music].

He also confirmed songwriting and production placements on the next releases by Emeli Sande [Capitol Records] and Leona Lewis [Island Records].

Meanwhile, Foxes is scheduled to release her sophomore album later this year under Simon Fuller’s Sony imprint Sign Of The Times Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “Glorious,” which peaked to number five on the UK Albums Chart and spawned three hit singles in the shape of “Youth,” “Let Go for Tonight” and “Holding Onto Heaven.”

In addition to Eliot, the new album will boast alliances with Guy Chambers (Katy B, Robbie Williams), Hannah Robinson (Kylie Minogue, Lana Del Rey), Khristopher Riddick-Tynes (Ariana Grande, Keri Hilson), Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett (Little Mix, Jess Glynne) and Antonio Dixon (Beyonce, Colbie Caillat).

Say Lou Lou have debuted their new single online.

The Australian-Swedish duo – consisting of twin sisters Miranda Anna and Elektra June Kilbey-Jansson – posted the audio clip for “Nothing But a Heartbeat” to their SoundCloud channel on Tuesday (February 03, 2015).

“Nothing But a Heartbeat” was co-written by Karen Poole, whose other credits include Giorgio Moroder’s “Right Here, Right Now” f/ Kylie Minogue [RCA Records] and Lily Allen’s “As Long As I Got You” [Parlophone Records].

Production duties were handled by Chris Loco, who is also responsible for Raleigh Ritchie’s “Stronger Than Ever” [Columbia Records] and Professor Green’s “Lullaby” f/ Tori Kelly [Virgin EMI Records].

As mentioned in previous posts, Say Lou Lou’s debut album “Lucid Dreaming” will be released later this year via Columbia Records.

The keenly-awaited LP features further productions and songwriting contributions from Richard X (Kelis, Will Young), Hannah Robinson (The Saturdays, Lana Del Rey) and Liam Howe (Sophie Ellis Bextor, FKA twigs).
