Blithe enlists Shae Jacobs, Freedo for new single “Bad”

British singer/songwriter Blithe Saxton, known mononymously as Blithe, has released her new single online.

“Bad” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Shae Jacobs (Ingrid Andress, Molly Rainford) and Fridolin “Freedo” Walcher (Zara Larsson, Claudia Valentina).

Blithe’s upcoming EP – featuring previous single “Masochistic” (which was co-written by Hannah Wilson and produced by Scott Effman) – is expected to arrive later this year/early next year via Sweat Entertainment.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further contributions from Mike Woods, Lisa Scinta, Trey Campbell, Kathryn Ostenberg, Joe London, Olivia Waithe, Danny Majic, Chiara Hunter, and Sermstyle.

“Masochistic” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Blithe alongside Hannah Wilson (Grace Ackerman, Lauren Aquilina) and Scott Effman (Sofia Reyes, Olivia Holt).

Blithe’s upcoming project, which serves as the follow-up to “Don’t Blink” EP, is expected to arrive later this year via Sweat Entertainment.

Mali-Koa signs new deal with Island Records UK

Singer/songwriter Mali-Koa has inked a new deal with Island Records UK.

The Universal Music Group imprint also houses artists include John Newman, Marlon Roudette, Ray BLK, Ariana Grande, Sigrid, Drake, Antigoni Buxton, Hailee Steinfeld, Jessie Ware, AlunaGeorge, and Cosima.

Mali-Koa’s current single “Honest” – which was co-written by fellow recording artist Plested and produced by Joe Garrett – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

She has also worked with songwriters and producers including Scott Effman, Nat Dunn, Pip Kembo, Lauren Aquilina, Knightstarr, Dominique Vellutato, T-Collar, Hannah Wilson, Maestro Tha Baker, Nina Nesbitt, and Grades.

Lilly Ahlberg releases new promotional single “Bad Boys”

Swedish/British singer-songwriter Lilly Ahlberg has released her new promotional single online.

“Bad Boys” – which was written by Ahlberg alongside Anita Blay, Matt “HUMN” Newman and Jonny Hockings – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Bad Boys” were handled by Hockings alongside HUMN and Future Cut, who are also responsible for Maxine Ashley’s “Happy,” Whinnie Williams’ “What About Me,” Matt Terry’s “Heartless,” Bakar’s “Small Town Girl,” and Alex Adair’s “Casual.”

Australian singer-songwriter Mali-Koa Hood, known monoymously as Mali-Koa, has reportedly enlisted Bantu for a new collaboration.

The Zimbabwean record producer (born Tinashe Sibanda) is known for his works with Jason Derulo (“Tip Toe”), K. Michelle (“Make the Bed”), Fifth Harmony (“Them Girls Be Like”), Rita Ora (“Body on Me”), Sabina Ddumba (“Not Too Young”), Tove Styrke (“Say My Name”), Keshia Chante (“Lights Out”), Maroon 5 (“Whiskey”) and Zara Larsson (“Permission”).

His extensive resume boasts additional works with songwriters including Lindy Robbins, Meagan Cottone, JHart, Lisa Scinta, Tayla Parx, Iain James, Chelcee Grimes, Ali Tamposi, Nate Campany, Emily Warren, Stephenie Jones, Eskeerdo, Noonie Bao, Sasha Sloan, Teddy Geiger, Julia Michaels, Carmen Reece, Wayne Hector, Victoria Monet, Brittany Burton, and Jacob Kasher Hindlin.

“Honest” – which was written by Mali-Koa alongside Philip Plested and Joe Garrett – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As a songwriter, Mali-Koa has co-penned “The Beautiful & Damned” for G-Eazy alongside Zoe Nash, Georgia Sinclair, and Madison Wolf. The track appears on the American rapper’s fourth studio album of the same name, which is out now via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

She also provided guest vocals on H Block Ink’s “Numbers Game,” which was co-written with Farrah “Nefera” Guenena, Amish “ADP” Patel, and Linus Nordstrom of Swedish production duo Goldfingers.

The British singer/songwriter christened “You Are the Reason” as the next promotional cut from his upcoming debut album under Capitol Records.

The track – which was written by Scott alongside Jon Maguire and Corey Sanders – will arrive on November 17 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The British production and songwriting duo (composed of Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola) are known for their works with Lily Allen (“Smile”), Shakira (“Gypsy”), Laura Izibor (“Shine”), Foxes (“Let Go for Tonight”), Ella Eyre (“Forever”), Whinnie Williams (“Too Strong”) and Stooshe (“Black Heart”).
