Liza Owen teams with Cedric Gervais on new single “Somebody New”

British singer/songwriter Liza Owen has teamed up with French DJ and house music producer Cedric Gervais for his new single “Somebody New,” now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Owen alongside Asia Whiteacre, whose other credits include Hey Violet’s “O.D.D.,” Astrid S’s “Breathe,” Hailee Steinfeld’s “Most Girls,” and Sophie & The Bom Boms’ “Creme De La Creme.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Owen is expected to release her upcoming debut project – featuring the Goldfingers-produced “Better with Me” and Ali Tamposi & Robopop-assisted “Don’t Call Me Baby” – later this year via Lava Records and Republic Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers further productions from Knighstarr, Digital Farm Animals, Youthonix, Maestro the Baker, Benny Cassette, Mick Schultz, Luke Fitton, Sam Sumser, and Mac & Phil.

On the songwriting front, Owen has worked with Rachel Furner, Danny Parker, Ilsey Juber, Jesse St. John, Shungudzo Kuyimba, Ed Drewett, Chloe Angelides, Brian Lee, Sarah Hudson, Philip Plested, Negin Djafari, Levi Lennox, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, JHart, Tayla Parx, Andrew Watt, and Lauren Aquilina.

Lykke Li has teamed up with Ilsey Juber for a new collaboration.

The American singer/songwriter is responsible for co-writing Mariah Carey’s “Infinity,” Britney Spears’ “Man on the Moon,” Fifth Harmony’s “Body Rock,” K. Michelle’s “If It Ain’t Love,” Beyonce’s “All Night,” Majid Jordan’s “My Love,” Bea Miller’s “Yes Girl,” Hey Violet’s “Guys My Age,” Keke Palmer’s “Figure You Out,” Tinashe’s “Flame,” Shawn Mendes’ “Mercy,” Dua Lipa’s “No Goodbyes,” and Martin Garrix’s “In the Name of Love.”

Juber’s resume boasts additional works with producers Fraser T. Smith, Wallpaper, Dan Wilson, Axident, Jonas Jeberg, Will IDAP, Matt Radosevich, JMike, Eric Hudson, Sir Nolan, Julian Bunetta, Diplo, Freddy Wexler, Jason Evigan, Louis Biancaniello, The Arcade, Noah “40” Shebib, DJ Mustard, Toby Gad, Big Taste, Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, and CIRKUT.

British singer/songwriter Ella Eyre has reunited Sigala for new single “Came Here for Love,” now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The pair previously teamed up on “Good Times,” taken from Eyre’s 2015 album “Feline,” which peaked to number thirty-seven on the UK Singles Chart.

“Came Here for Love,” on the other hand, was written by Ella Eyre and Bryn Christopher alongside the track’s producers Bruce “Sigala” Fielder, Scott “White N3rd” Wild, and Cedrick “Klingande” Steinmyller.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Eyre’s upcoming sophomore album is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.
