Dua Lipa teams with Whethan for new promotional single “High”

British singer/songwriter Dua Lipa has teamed up with American DJ and music producer Whethan (born Ethan Snoreck) for her new promotional single “High,” now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Dua Lipa and John Hill alongside Sarah Aarons, whose resume boasts additional works with Zedd x Alessia Cara (“Stay”), Mabel McVey (“Bedroom”), Demi Lovato (“Lonely”), Jessie Ware (“Alone”), Guy Sebastian (“Home”) and Seal (“Luck Be a Lady”).

“High” also appears on the original motion picture soundtrack “Fifty Shades Freed,” out now via Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Dua Lipa is currently working on her upcoming sophomore album with songwriters/producers including Max Martin, Lindy Robbins, Savan Kotecha, Emily Warren, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Caroline Ailin, Justin Tranter, Sasha Sloan, Andrew Wyatt, Ilsey Juber, Stephen “Koz” Kozmeniuk, Clarence Coffee Jr., King Henry, Sarah Hudson, and GRADES.

Her self-titled debut studio collection debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart and peaked to number thirty-two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also spawned singles “Be the One,” “Last Dance,” “Hotter Than Hell,” “Blow Your Mind (Mwah),” “Lost in Your Light,” “New Rules” and “IDGAF.”

Dua Lipa enlists Justin Tranter for new collaboration

British singer, songwriter, and model Dua Lipa has enlisted American musician/songwriter Justin Tranter for a new collaboration.

Tranter recently co-wrote “Into It” for Camila Cabello alongside Ryan Tedder, Adam “Frank Dukes” Feeney, Louis Bell, and Kaan Gunesberk. The track appears on Cabello’s debut studio collection under Syco Music / Epic Records, “Camila,” which topped to the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Tranter’s songwriting resume boasts additional works with Nick Jonas (“Home”), Halsey (“Bad at Love”), Julia Michaels (“Issues”), Fergie (“Tension”), Jason Derulo (“If I’m Lucky”), Selena Gomez (“Bad Liar”), Kesha (“Boots”), Britney Spears (“Slumber Party”) and Justin Bieber (“Friends”).

Meanwhile, Dua Lipa is expected to release her upcoming sophomore album later this year via Warner Music Group / Warner Brothers Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional contributions from Max Martin, Savan Kotecha, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Andrew Wyatt, Caroline Ailin, Sasha Sloan, Ilsey Juber, Stephen Kozemeniuk, MNEK, Clarence Coffee Jr., King Henry, Sarah Aarons, Lindy Robbins, Emily Warren, Grades, and Sarah Hudson.

Justin Timberlake unwraps tracklisting for new album “Man of the Woods”

American singer, songwriter, and record producer Justin Timberlake has unwrapped the tracklisting for his upcoming fifth studio collection, “Man of the Woods,” which will arrive on February 2 via RCA Records.

Current promotional single “Filthy” – which was written by Timberlake alongside James Fauntleroy, Timothy “Timbaland” Mosley, Nathaniel “Danja” Hills, and Larrance “Rance” Dopson – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2012’s “The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2” reportedly boasts additional alliances with Max Martin (Kelis, Britney Spears), Shellback (Pink, Katy Perry), Ilya Salmanzadeh (Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande), Rob Knox (Ciara, Leona Lewis), and The Neptunes (Usher, Toni Braxton).

Camila Cabello has liberated her new promotional single online.

“Real Friends” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Mustafa the Poet and Brian Lee alongside Billy Walsh of Somewhere Else, whose songwriting resume boasts additional works with Alicia Keys (“In Common”), Emeli Sande (“Starlight”), The Weeknd (“Die Alone”), Raye (“Glue”) and Post Malone (“I Fall Apart”).

Production duties on “Real Friends” were handled by Frank Dukes, who is also responsible for Justine Skye’s “Goodlove,” Zayn Malik’s “Still Got Time,” Future’s “Rich Sex,” Nicki Minaj’s “Regret in Your Tears,” Rihanna’s “Sex with Me,” Bebe Rexha’s “Comfortable,” and Lorde’s “Green Light.”

Bell’s resume boasts additional works with Selena Gomez (“Wolves”), Post Malone (“Rockstar”), Justine Skye (“Lost Me”), Madalen Duke (“Hitlist”), Watt (“Burning Man”), DJ Snake (“Let Me Love You”), Kygo (“It Ain’t Me”), Conrad Sewell (“Remind Me”) and Justin Bieber (“Hit the Ground”).

Meanwhile, Walsh is responsible for co-writing Alicia Keys’ “In Common,” Elijah Blake’s “Live Till We Die,” The Weeknd’s “Die for You,” Post Malone’s “I Fall Apart,” and Majid Jordan’s “Something About You.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Cabello is expected to release her upcoming debut album “The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving” – featuring promotional singles “Crying in the Club,” “I Have Questions” and “OMG” – later this year via Simon Cowell’s Sony imprint Syco Music and Epic Records.
