Chromeo schedule release date for new album “Head Over Heels”

Chromeo have scheduled the release date for their upcoming album.

The Canadian electro-funk duo – composed of David “Dave 1” Macklovitch and Patrick “P-Thugg” Gemayel – will release “Head Over Heels” on June 15 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Current promotional single “Must’ve Been” – which was co-written by Ammar Malik, Isaiah Tejada, Gamal “LunchMoney” Lewis, Jacob “JKash” Kasher, Spencer Bastian, and Jason Evigan – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2014’s “White Women” reportedly yields additional alliances with The Monsters & Strangerz, Priscilla Renea, Ian Kirkpatrick, Digital Farm Animals, MNEK, Andrew Jackson, Scott Harris, and Lindy Robbins.

Sam Martin announces new promotional single “It’s Gonna Get Better”

Sam Martin has announced the details for his new promotional single.

The American singer, songwriter, and record producer (born Samuel Denison Martin) christened “It’s Gonna Get Better” as his next promotional cut and will release it on November 10 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Isaiah Tejada alongside Jason Evigan, whose recent credits include Chromeo’s “Juice,” Rachel Platten’s “Collide,” Maroon 5’s “What Lovers Do,” Fifth Harmony’s “Lonely Night,” Hey Violet’s “Hoodie,” Kehlani’s “Good Life,” Nick Jonas’ “Bom Didi Bom,” and Sofia Carson’s “Ins and Outs.”

As a songwriter, Martin recently co-wrote “Long Live the Billionaire” for Zimbabwean/French/Native-American singer-songwriter Shungudzo.

His songwriting resume boasts additional works with Maroon 5’s “It Was Always You,” Rozzi Crane’s “Psycho,” Nick Jonas’ “Levels,” Jason Derulo’s “Want to Want Me,” Prince Royce’s “Stuck on a Feeling,” and David Guetta’s “Dangerous.”

Martin’s upcoming project – featuring previous single “Bring Me Home” – is expected to arrive early next year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.
