Janet Jackson debuts new single “Unbreakable”

Janet Jackson has debuted a new song online.

The singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Unbreakable” to her official YouTube channel on Thursday (September 03, 2015).

“Unbreakable” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by Jackson along with Jimmy Jam (Usher, Gwen Stefani), Terry Lewis (Mariah Carey, Deborah Cox) and Thomas Lumpkins (Jordin Sparks, Nelly Furtado).

Jackson’s upcoming eleventh album “Unbreakable” – featuring previous promotional cut “No Sleeep” – will hit stores on October 2nd through Rhythm Nation Records in partnership with BMG Rights Management.

The keenly-awaited project – boasting further alliances with Missy Elliot, J. Cole, Dem Jointz, and Mickey Shiloh – serves as the follow-up to 2008’s “Discipline,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Janet Jackson previews new song “The Great Forever”

Janet Jackson has previewed a new song online.

“The Great Forever” is slotted for inclusion on the legendary singer/songwriter’s upcoming eleventh album, tentatively entitled “Unbreakable.”

The track was co-written and produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, who have also worked with Usher [RCA], Mariah Carey [Epic], Mary J. Blige [Capitol], Gwen Stefani [Interscope] and Little Mix [Syco].

Current single “No Sleeep” – which features rapper J. Cole and additional production duties from Dwayne “Dem Jointz” Abernathy – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

As mentioned in earlier posts, “Unbreakable” will hit stores later this year through Rhythm Nation Records in partnership with BMG Rights Management.

The highly-anticipated project serves as the follow-up 2008’s “Discipline,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and delivered three singles in the shape of “Feedback,” “2Nite” and “Luv.”

Janet Jackson has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “No Sleeep” – featuring J. Cole – to her official YouTube channel on Friday (July 24, 2015).

“No Sleeep” was produced by Jackson along with regular collaborators Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, who also worked with Usher (“Bad Girl”), Mariah Carey (“Through the Rain”) and Celine Dion (“Dance with My Father”).

Co-production duties were handled by Dem Jointz, whose other credits include Jordin Sparks’ “Right Here Right Now” [Louder Than Life], Rihanna’s “Cockiness (Love It)” [Def Jam] and Brandy’s “Put it Down” f/ Chris Brown [RCA].

Jackson’s eleventh studio collection and follow-up to 2008’s “Discipline” is scheduled to hit stores and digital outlets later this year through BMG Rights Management and Rhythm Nation Records.

Polly A. has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the EMBRYO-directed clip for “Nature” to her official YouTube page on Thursday (November 20, 2014).

“Nature” – which was produced by THE MATRAX – appears on the artist’s upcoming project, “Distorted Fairytales.”

Polly A. – born Meleni Smith – previously teamed up with musicians including Boi-1da (Tinashe, Chris Brown), Syience (Beyonce, Emeli Sande), Toby Gad (Madonna, John Legend) and Salaam Remi (Usher, Leona Lewis).

Her songwriting resume includes works for Natasha Bedingfield (“Happy”), Selena Gomez (“Bang Bang Bang”), J. Cole (“Crooked Smile), Kat Dahlia (“Money Party”) and Alicia Keys (“Love is My Disease”).

“Nature” marks the first promotional cut from artist’s upcoming project, “Distorted Fairy Tales,” which is expected to be released later this year.

As a songwriter, Polly A. – born Meleni Smith – has penned songs for Alicia Keys [RCA Records], Selena Gomez [Interscope Records], J. Cole [Columbia Records] and Natasha Bedingfield [Phonogenic / Epic Records].

Polly A. has revealed the title for her upcoming project.

The singer/songwriter – born Meleni Smith – christened her next collection “Distorted Fairy Tales” and will release it later this year.

The highly-anticipated project is preceded by lead single “Nature,” for which the video has recently been shot in New York City.

Among the musicians Polly A. has previously collaborated with are Syience (Alice Smith, Emeli Sande), Boi-1da (Tinashe, Sevyn Streeter), Toby Gad (Beyonce, Lauriana Mae) and Salaam Remi (Usher, Mack Wilds).

Her songwriting resume includes works for Alicia Keys (“Love is My Disease”), Natasha Bedingfield (“Happy”), J. Cole (“Crooked Smile”), Kat Dahlia (“Money Party”) and Selena Gomez (“Bang Bang Bang”).

Jhené Aiko has premiered the music video for her new single online.

“Bed Peace” – which features Childish Gambino – marks the first promotional single from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming extended play, “Sail Out,” out on November 12 via Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings.

The track was produced by regular collaborators Mac Robinson and Brian Warfield of Fisticuffs, who previously teamed up with artists including Jazmine Sullivan (“One Night Stand”) and Miguel (“All I Want is You”).

Aiko’s upcoming debut album “Souled Out” will be executively produced by Ernest “No I.D.” Wilson, whose recent credits include “No Love Allowed” by Rihanna [Island Def Jam Recordings], “Better” by Chrisette Michele [Motown Records] and “This Time” by Melanie Fiona [Republic Records].

She has also collaborated with rappers including Drake [Young Money / Republic Records], J. Cole [Columbia Records], Kendrick Lamar [Aftermath / Interscope Records] and Big Sean [G.O.O.D. Music / Def Jam Recordings].
