Niall Horan duets with Marren Morris for new song “Seeing Blind”

Irish singer/songwriter Niall Horan has recorded a new duet with fellowing recording artist Maren Morris entitled “Seeing Blind.”

The track was written by Horan alongside Ruth-Anne Cunningham (Stanaj, Bebe Rexha) and Matthew Radosevich (Keith Urban, Lea Michele).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Horan’s upcoming debut album – featuring singles “This Town” and “Slow Hands” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further contributions Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran), Amy Wadge (Kylie Minogue), Wayne Hector (Olly Murs), Ashley Gorley (Carrie Underwood) and Jesse Frasure (Thomas Rhett).

Rita Ora connects with Avicii for new single “Lonely Together”

British singer/songwriter Rita Ora has connected with Swedish DJ, remixer, and record producer Avicii (born Tim Bergling) for his new promotional single “Lonely Together,” now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Featuring co-production duties by Benny Blanco and Cashmere Cat; “Lonely Together” was co-written by Ali Tamposi (Lea Michele, Demi Lovato), Brian Lee (Selena Gomez, Fifth Harmony) and Andrew Watt (Charlie Puth, Justin Bieber).

Preceded by the Steve Mac-produced / Ed Sheeran-penned “Your Song;” Ora’s upcoming sophomore album is scheduled arrive in 2018 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further productions from Stargate, Jonny Coffer, Digital Farm Animals, Jimmy Napes, Leon Thomas, Jake Gosling, Mike Dean, Jason Evigan, Emile Haynie, and RITUAL.

On the songwriting front, Ora has worked with Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Sam Romans, Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee, Max McElligott, Diana Gordon, Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd, Chelcee Grimes, Justin Tranter, Georgia Ku, and Ammar Malik.

Leona Lewis teams with Lauren Aquilina, PLESTED, Mac & Phil for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Leona Lewis has teamed up with Lauren Aqulina, PLESTED, and Mac & Phil for a new collaboration.

In addition to releasing her debut album “Isn’t it Strange” in 2016 via Island Records UK, Aqulina has also penned songs on the next releases by Taya, Kara Marni, Ella Henderson, Fleur East, Imani Williams, Liza Owen, Nina Nesbitt, Sarah Close, Tamera Foster, Kylie Minogue, and Etham.

Meanwhile, PLESTED’s current single “Habits” – which was co-written with Kane “KIN” Parfitt and Mac & Phil – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Composed of Matthew Holmes and Philip Leigh, Mac & Phil are also responsible for co-writing and producing Emily Warren’s “Something To Hold On To,” The Chainsmokers’ “Bloodstream,” Emeli Sande’s “Hurts,” Plested’s “Habits,” Carys Selvey’s “Shallow,” and Lost Kings’ “Phone Down.”

On the follow-up to 2015’s “I Am,” which peaked to number twelve on the UK Albums Chart, Lewis has also worked with Walter Afanasieff (Mariah Carey), Autumn Rowe (Kacy Hill), Jake Gosling (Shawn Mendes), Isley Juber (Jessica Simpson), Chris Leonard (Shania Twain) and Ali Tamposi (Justin Bieber).

Billy Raffoul drops new promotional single “Dark Four Door”

Canadian singer/songwriter Billy Raffoul has dropped his new single online.

“Dark Four Door” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Ross Golan, whose other credits include Jasmine Thompson’s “Old Friends,” Charlie Puth’s “Then There’s You,” Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman,” Nelly’s “Sounds Good to Me,” Meghan Trainor’s “Hopeless Romantic,” Jason Derulo’s “Painkiller,” and Selena Gomez’s “Same Old Love.”

Production duties on “Dark Four Door” were handled by Mike Crossey, whose resume boasts further works with Take That (“River”), Kaleo (“Way Down We Go”), The 1975 (“Love Me”), Wolf Alice (“Giant Peach”), Twenty One Pilots (“The Judge”), Imelda May (“Tribal”) and Amber Run (“Spark”).

Raffoul’s upcoming debut project – featuring the Simon Wilcox-assisted / Sir Nolan-produced “Driver” – is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

British singer/songwriter Tom Grennan has debuted his new single online.

“Found What I’ve Been Looking For” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written and produced by fellow recording artist Jordan Riley, whose resume boasts further works with Dan Caplen (“Flat Champagne”), WENS (“If”), Nina Nesbitt (“Almost You”), Dua Lipa (“Do it Again”), Grace Carter (“Liar”), Mullally (“Don’t Give Me That Look”), Chloe Leone (“Find It”), Zak Abel (“Voices”) and Dakota (“Say it Again”).

Rita Ora has collaborated with fellow recording artist Chris Martin for her upcoming sophomore album.

The co-founder and lead singer of the British rock band Coldplay recently co-penned “Homesick” for Dua Lipa’s self-titled debut album under Warner Bros. Records, out now via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

His resume boasts additional songwriting credits including Brandy’s “I Tried,” Nelly Furtado’s “All Good Things Come to An End,” Jamelia’a “See it a Boy’s Eyes,” Kylie Minogue’s “Every Day’s Like Christmas,” Natalia Imbruglia’s “Want,” K’naan’s “Better,” and Beverley Knight’s “First Time.”

Meanwhile, Ora is scheduled to release her second studio collection – featuring the Ed Sheeran-penned / Steve Mac-produced “Your Song” – later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

Leona Lewis reunites with Walter Afanasieff for new collaboration

Leona Lewis has reunited with Walter Afanasieff for a new collaboration.

“Singing with Walter A is like a dream come true, the most incredible pianist/composer/writer/ human!” the British singer, songwriter, and actress tweeted on Tuesday (July 04, 2017).

Afanasieff previously produced and co-wrote “Here I Am” alongside fellow musician Brett James, taken from Lewis’ debut studio collection, 2007’s “Spirit,” which topped both the UK and US Albums Chart.

The Grammy Award-winning record producer’s extensive resume boasts additional works with Mariah Carey (“Hero”), Celine Dion (“My Heart Will Go On”), Luther Vandross (“Endless Love”), Beyonce (“My Heart Still Beats”), Darren Hayes (“Insatiable”), Ricky Martin (“Nobody Wants to Be Lonely”), Allure (“Last Chance”) and Chante Moore (“One More Time”).

Meanwhile, Lewis is expected to release her next project, which serves as the follow-up to 2015’s “I Am,” later this year via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.
