James Blunt premieres music video for new single “Bartender”

James Blunt has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The British singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Bartender” to his YouTube channel on Friday (March 10, 2017).

The track was co-written by Blunt alongside Stephanie “Steph” Jones, whose other credits include Bea Miller’s “Burning Bridges,” Sabrina Carpenter’s “Don’t Want it Back,” Dylan Scott’s “Rules,” and Chris Lane’s “Circles.”

Production duties on “Bartender,” on the other hand, were collectively handled by Daniel “Danny” Parker (Nick Jonas, Britney Spears) and Theodore “Teddy” Geiger (Shawn Mendes, Ricky Reed).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Blunt’s fifth studio collection “The Afterlove” – featuring previous singles “Make Me Better,” “Time of Our Lives” and “Love Me Better” – will arrive on March 24 via Atlantic Records.

Other album producers include Stephan Moccio (Seal), Ryan Tedder (Adele), Steve Robson (Olly Murs), The Underdogs (Justin Timberlake), Steve Mac (Jess Glynne), Johnny McDaid (Harry Styles) and Ed Sheeran (Taylor Swift).

On the songwriting front, Blunt has teamed up with Amy Wadge (Geri Halliwell), Dewain Whitmore (Pia Toscano), Maureen “MoZella” McDonald (Miley Cyrus), Patrick “J. Que” Smith (Mollie King), Emily Warren (Dua Lipa) and Taurian “Adonis” Shropshire (Ciara).

The British singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Love Me Better” to his YouTube channel on Thursday (February 02, 2017).

Production duties on lead single “Love Me Better” – now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets – were collectively handled by OneRepublic members Ryan Tedder and Zach Skelton.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Blunt’s fifth studio collection “The Afterlove” will arrive on March 24 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Moon Landing” reportedly delivers further productions from Martin Terefe, Steve Robson, Fred Cox, Stephan Moccio, Teddy Geiger, Sam Romans, Danny Parker, Steve Mac, and Cass Lowe.

On the songwriting front, Blunt has teamed up with Camille Purcell, Dewain Whitmore, MoZella, Claude Kelly, Ina Wroldsen, Ed Sheeran, Amy Wadge, Johnny McDaid, Emily Warren, and Steph Jones.

James Blunt has unwrapped the tracklist for his upcoming fifth album, “The Aferlove,” which will arrive on March 24 via Atlantic Records.

Production duties on lead single “Love Me Better” – now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets – were collectively handled by OneRepublic members Ryan Tedder and Zach Skelton.

James Blunt confirms new album “The Afterlove”

James Blunt has confirmed the title and release date for his new album.

The British singer-songwriter christened his fifth studio collection “The Afterlove” and will release it on March 24 via Atlantic Records.

The highly-anticipated project reportedly delivers songwriting contributions from Camille Purcell, Dewain Whitmore, Maureen “MoZella” McDonald, Danny Parker, Ina Wroldsen, Claude Kelly, and Amy Wadge.

On the production front, Blunt has teamed with regular collaborators Steve Robson, Martin Terefe and Steve Robson, as well as new joiners Sam Romans, Fred Cox, Cass Lowe, and Stephan Moccio.

Blunt’s previous studio collection, 2013’s “Moon Landing,” debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles including ‘Bonfire Heart,” “Heart to Heart” and “When I Find Love Again.”

Terefe previously co-wrote and produced “Trail of Broken Hearts,” “Breathe,” “Postcards,” “Blue on Blue” and “Heart to Heart” on Blunt’s 2013 studio collection, “Moon Landing.”

Terefe’s extensive resume boasts further works with Mike Posner (“I Took a Pill in Ibiza”), James Morrison (“Heaven to a Fool”), Shawn Mendes (“Kid in Love”), James Mraz (“Everything is Sound”) and Mary J. Blige (“Need Someone”).

Blunt’s fifth album, on the other hand, is expected to arrive later this year through Custard Records and Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly features additional alliances with Claude Kelly, Stephan Moccio, Ina Wroldsen, Danny Parker, MoZella, Sam Romans, Camille Purcell, Steve Mac, Dewain Whitmore, and Steve Robson.

James Blunt reunites with Claude Kelly for new album

James Blunt has reunited with Claude Kelly of Louis York for his new album.

“Tea and biscuits … We must be in London! @ClaudeKelly / @louisyorkmusic” Blunt posted to his Instagram account on Wednesday (August 24, 2016).

Kelly previously co-wrote “Satellites” and “Sun on Sunday,” taken from the Blunt’s previous studio collection, “Moon Landing.”

The Louis York vocalist also co-wrote “I Found a Girl” for The Vamps along with James Blunt, Ross Golan, Ammar Malik, and Steve Mac. The track peaked to number thirty on the UK Singles Chart.

Blunt’s fifth album, on the other hand, is expected to arrive later this year through Custard Records and Atlantic Records.

Ina Wroldsen hints at new collaboration with James Blunt

Ina Wroldsen has hinted at a new collaboration with James Blunt.

“Thanks @SteveMacProd and @JamesBlunt for a lovely day after last night’s Ryanair flight from hell. Looking forward to the album,” the Norwegian singer/songwriter posted to her Twitter account.

Wroldsen’s recent songwriting credits include Jasmine Thompson (“Adore”), Sigma (“Feels Like Home”), Anne-Marie (“Alarm”), Sofia Carson (“Love is the Name”), Demi Lovato (“Lionheart”) and Jess Glynne (“Hold My Hand”).

Fans of her work should also look out for the next projects by Maria Mena, Zara Larsson, Jojo, Ella Henderson, Janelle Monae, Clean Bandit, Olly Murs, Bridget Mendler, Snakehips, and Taya.

Meanwhile, Blunt is expected to release his fifth studio collection later this year through Custard Records and Atlantic Records.
