Jennifer Hudson unleashes new song “Dangerous”

Jennifer Hudson has unleashed a new song online.

“Dangerous” is lifted from the singer/songwriter’s third album, “JHUD,” out on September 23 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The new studio collection serves as the follow-up to 2010’s “I Remember Me,” which debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Current single “Walk It Out” – written by Hudson along with Lyrica Anderson, Chris Godbey, Jacob Luttrell, Michael Tompkins, James Washington, Jerome Harmon and Timothy Mosley – is now available for download via iTunes.

Other album contributors include Salaam Remi (Ella Henderson, Liam Bailey), Jerry “Wonda” Duplessis (Tank, Sevyn Streeter), Christ Braide (Sia, Britney Spears) and Raphael Saadiq (Kelis, Adrian Marcel).

In related news, Hudson recorded a new song entitled “Go All Night” for British electronic music production duo Gorgon City.

The track – which was co-written by Canadian singer/songwriter Kiesza – is lifted from the group’s debut album, “Sirens,” out on October 6 via Black Butter Records in partnership with Virgin EMI Records.

Jennifer Hudson has unwrapped the official artwork for her upcoming third studio album online.

The R&B singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “JHUD” on September 23 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Current single “Walk it Out” – written by Hudson along with Lyrica Anderson, Chris Godbey, Jacob Luttrell, Michael Tompkins, James Washington, Jerome Harmon and Timothy Mosley – is now available for download via iTunes.

The follow-up to 2011’s “I Remember Me” boasts further contributions from Pharrell Williams, Salaam Remi, Raphael Saadiq, Nadir “RedOne” Khayat, Angela Hunte, and Jerry “Wonda” Duplessis.

In related news, Hudson provided guest vocals on the track “Go All Night” by British electronic music production duo Gorgon City.

Jennifer Hudson has unveiled the music video for her new single online.

“Walk it Out” – which features Timbaland – marks the second promotional single from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming third studio album.

The track – written by Jennifer Hudson along with Lyrica Anderson, Chris Godbey, Jacob Luttrell, Michael Tompkins, James Washington, Jerome Harmon and Timothy Mosley – is now available for download via iTunes.

Video treatment was handled by Director X, whose credits include Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” [Island Records], Ciara’s “Body Party” [Epic Records], Drake’s “Worst Behavior” [Republic Records] and Estelle’s “Come Over” [Atlantic Records].

Cover Drive have premiered the music video for their new single online.

“Welcome to Me” is taken from the Bajan quartet’s latest mini-album, “Liming in Limbo,” which can be download from their official SoundCloud page.

The track was written by Kerrie Thomas-Armstrong along with group members Amanda Reifer, T. Ray Armstrong, Jamar Harding, and Barry Hill.

“Liming in Limbo” serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Bajan Style,” which delivered hit singles including the Jonathan Rotem-produced “Lick Ya Down,” Ina Wroldsen-penned “Twilight,” and Dappy-assisted “Explode.”

Among the musicians backing Cover Drive on their upcoming sophomore LP – which is expected to be released in 2014 – are Supa Dups, Angela Hunte, Eshraque “iSHi” Mughal, Jim Beanz, Camille Purcell, and Boi-1da.

Cover Drive have reunited with hitmakers Supa Dups and Boi-1da for their upcoming sophomore album, which serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Bajan Style” [Universal Music Group / Polydor Records].

The songwriting and production duo previously teamed up with the Barbadian quartet – consisting of members Amanda Reifer, T. Ray Armstrong, Jamar Harding and Barry Hill – on the Ali Tamposi-assisted “Can’t Live in a World.”

Other credits by Supa Dups – Born Dwayne Chin-Quee – include “Smoke the Weed” by Snoop Lion [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], “Show Me” by Bruno Mars [Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records] and “Around the World” by Christina Aguilera [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

Meanwhile, Boi-1da – real name Matthew Samuels – has recently contributed to tracks such as “Red Wine” by Kelly Rowland [Universal Music Group / Republic Records], “Bad Decisions” by Trey Songz [Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records] and “High School” by Nicki Minaj [Cash Money / Republic Records].

Dionne Bromfield has reunited with Diane Warren for her upcoming third album on Universal Music Group / Lioness / Island Records.

The pair previously teamed up on the track “Who Says You Can’t Have it All,” produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins (Nelly Furtado, Justin Bieber).

Warren is also known for penning worldwide hit singles including “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” by Whitney Houston [Sony Music Entertainment / Arista Records] and “I Was Here” by Beyonce Knowles [Sony Music Entertainment / Parkwood Entertainment / Columbia Records].
